Do not use power tools in the rain or wet environments.
Do not use power tools where there is a risk of fire or
explosion - i.e.near flammable liquids or gases.
Do not allow children into the area where you are working.
Do not let children or other people touch electrical power
tools.
Avoid body contact with grounded (earthed) surfaces
(e.g. pipes,radiators, appliances).
Do not leave the power tool unattended and always
disconnect from the power supply after use. Store in a dry
place well out of reach of children.
Always use safety glasses and a dust mask when cutting or
drilling through materials.
Do not carry a power tool by the cord or pull on the cord
and keep it away from heat, water, oil and sharp objects.
Wear the right clothes - not loose fitting and ensure
garments cannot come into contact with moving parts.
If you have long hair,tie it back safely to avoid tangling it in
moving parts.
Do not use power tools when you are tired or have been
drinking alcohol.
Wear non-slip shoes, especially if working outdoors.
When working outdoors and you have no other option than
to use an extension cable,ensure it is suitable for outdoor
use and fitted with the correctly rate fuse.
Where possible, secure your work piece firmly in a clamp or
a vice to permit the use of two hands.
Do not overreach while working - you may lose your balance.
You must switch off your tool at the tool’s on/off switch and
at the power supply.
Never change a blade, disk or any other attachment without
first turning off the on/off switch on the tool and removing
the plug from the power supply.
We strongly recommend the use of a residual current device
(RCD) at the power source when using power tools.
Only use spare parts and attachments supplied by Ferm.Use
of attachments other than those supplied or recommended
by Ferm will invalidate your guarantee and could be
dangerous.
ABOVE ALL - BE CAREFUL!
Mains Plug Replacement
If you in any doubt whatsoever regarding removing the old
plug and reconnecting a new one, you should contact a
competent electrician to do it for you.
Disconnect the plug from the electric socket.
Cut off the old plug and dispose of it safely.Under no
circumstances should anyone be able to find and use a plug
with exposed wires.
Only fit an approved plug with the correctly rated fuse.
Attach the cores (wires) to their respective terminals.
BROWN - L (Live)
BLUE - N (Neutral)
Ensure the outer cable (sheath) is firmly clamped in place to
avoid strain on the wires at the terminals.
Maintenance
Remove the saw from the power supply.
Carry out a visual inspection before and after you use the saw.
If it appears to be damaged or parts are worn have the saw
repaired by a qualified person.If the blade is worn or damaged
you must purchase a new blade. Using an old worn blade can
be dangerous and hard work!
When the time comes to replace your saw,dispose of it safely
through a recycling facility.

Risk of an electric shock.
In accordance with the safety regulations of
applicable European guidelines.
Class II machine – Double insulation –An earthed
plug is not necessary.
The number of revolutions of the machine can be
adjusted electronically.
Read the instructions.

Fitting a Blade
•Remove the saw from the power supply.
•Loosen blade retention bolt (5) using the allen key supplied
(dia.2).Do not completely unscrew. Fit the blade as shown
and fully retighten the blade retention bolt.
Warning!
When turning the allen key to remove a blade, be very careful
not to catch your hand or fingers on the blade as the bolt
suddenly loosens under force (Best hand position shown dia.3).
Before use
•Make sure the items you want to cut are free from other
obstacles, cables,furniture etc.
•Always cut with the blade edge facing away from you - never
towards you!
•Never cut items close to your body.

TECHNICAL DATA
Using the saw
Your saw has a variable speed wheel 1 - 6 (6).
Move the dial from 1 (slow) up to your preferred speed.Only
alter the speed setting when the motor has stopped (dia.4).
To operate the motor press the safety switch (4) down and
depress the trigger (dia.5).Use the top grip (1) to guide the
cutting action.
You can move the saw backward and forward if required but do
not force it.
To stop the saw,simply take your finger off the trigger.
The smaller blade supplied is used to cut thin gauge metal
(max.3mm) such as aluminium or copper. This blade is
attached in exactly the same way.Do not force the blade when
cutting through metal.
Cleaning
Remove the saw from the power supply.
Use only a soft slightly damp cloth to clean your saw.
Do not use general household cleaners as they may damage the
plastic casing.
Do not use petrol,paint thinners, or any other chemicals.
Do not use the saw if it has been exposed to water or any
other liquids.

power supply.This makes it unnecessary for
this power tool to be earthed.

Gebruik geen elektrische gereedschappen in de regen of een
natte omgeving.
Gebruik geen elektrische gereedschappen waar gevaar voor
brand of explosie bestaat,d.w.z. niet bij vloeistoffen of
gassen.
Laat geen kinderen toe in de ruimte waar u werkt.
Laat kinderen of anderen de elektrische gereedschappen niet
aanraken.
Vermijd dat uw lichaam in aanraking komt met geaarde
oppervlakken (b.v. leidingen, radiatoren,apparaten).
Laat het elektrische gereedschap niet onbewaakt en maak het
na gebruik altijd los van de stroomtoevoer. Bewaar het op
een droge plaats waar kinderen niet bij kunnen komen.
Draag altijd een veiligheidsbril en een stofmasker wanneer u
door materialen zaagt of erin boort.
Draag een elektrische gereedschap niet aan het snoer en
trek niet aan het snoer; houd het gereedschap altijd uit de
buurt van hitte, water,olie en scherpe voorwerpen.
Draag de juiste kleding,geen loshangende kleding en zorg
ervoor dat kledingstukken niet aan aanraking kunnen komen
met bewegende onderdelen.
Indien u lang haar hebt,bind het dan veilig achter uw hoofd
vast zodat het niet in bewegende onderdelen verward kan
raken.
Gebruik geen elektrisch gereedschap wanneer u moe bent of
alcohol gedronken hebt.
Draag anti-slip schoenen,vooral als u buiten werkt.
Wanneer u buiten werkt en u heeft geen andere keus
dan een verlengsnoer te gebruiken, zorg er dan voor dat het
geschikt is voor gebruik buitenshuis en voorzien is van de
juiste zekering.
Bevestig,wanneer mogelijk, uw werk stevig in een klem of
bankschroef zodat u beide handen kunt gebruiken.
Reik niet te ver van u af terwijl u werkt,u zou uw evenwicht
kunnen verliezen.
U moet het gereedschap met de aan/uit schakelaar van het
gereedschap en bij de stroombron uitzetten.
Verwissel nooit een blad,schijf of ander hulpstuk zonder eerst
de aan/uit schakelaar van het gereedschap uit te zetten en
de stekker uit de stroombron te halen.
• Gebruik alleen reserveonderdelen en hulpstukken die door
Ferm geleverd zijn.Het gebruik van hulpstukken die niet
door Ferm geleverd of aanbevolen zijn zal uw garantie
ongeldig maken en zou gevaarlijk kunnen zijn.
WEESVOORZICHTIG!
Onderhoud
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
De zaag moet voor en na het gebruik visueel geïnspecteerd
worden.Als de zaag beschadigd is of de onderdelen versleten
zijn,dan moet de zaag door een bevoegd persoon gerepareerd
worden.Als het zaagblad versleten of beschadigd is, dan moet
het door een nieuw zaagblad worden vervangen. Een oud en
versleten zaagblad kan gevaarlijk zijn en maakt het karwei
onnodig zwaar! Als het snoer versleten of beschadigd is,dan
moet het door een erkend servicecentrum gerepareerd of
vervangen worden.
Wanneer de machine aan vervanging toe is, lever hem dan in
bij uw plaatselijke inzamelingsdepot.
Hier zal uw machine op milieuvriendelijke wijze worden
verwerkt.
Let op :Kans op materiële schade en/of
lichamelijk letsel.
Let op:Kans op een elektrische schok.
Overeenkomstig met de veiligheidseisen van
toepasselijke Europese richtlijnen.
Klasse II apparaat - Dubbel geïsoleerd - Een
geaarde stekker is niet noodzakelijk.
Het toeren tal van de machine is elektronisch
regelbaar.
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzingen.
Draag een veiligheids bril.
Draag gehoorbescherming.
Waarschuwing! Lees vóór gebruik altijd eerst de instructies van elektrische producten zorgvuldig door.
Dit maakt het gemakkelijker om het product te begrijpen en onnodige risico’s worden vermeden.
Bewaar dit instructiehandboek op een veilige plaats,zodat u het later ook kunt raadplegen.
Dit elektrisch gereedschap is dubbel geïsoleerd.
Alle externe delen zijn geïsoleerd vanaf de
netvoeding.Hierdoor is het niet nodig dat dit
elektrisch gereedschap geaard is.
NL VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
Påsætning af blad/klinge
•Afbryd saven fra strømforsyningen.
•Løsn bladets/klingens holdebolt (5) ved brug af den
medleverede unbrakonøgle (2) Skru den ikke helt af.Anbring
bladet/klingen som vist,og stram bladets holdebolt helt.
Advarsel!
Når unbrakonøglen drejes for at fjerne bladet/klingen, så vær
meget forsigtig med ikkeat få din hånd eller fingre fanget i
bladet/klingen,fordi bolten løsner sig pludseligt og kraftigt
(den bedste håndstilling er vist (dia.3)).
Inden brug
•Sørg for at de genstande,du ønsker at skære/save i,er fri for
forhindringer,kabler, beslag etc.
•Skær/sav altid med bladet/klingen vendende bort fra dig
selvaldrig ind mod dig selv!
•Skær/sav aldrig genstande tæt på din krop.

Din sav har et variabelt hastighedshjul 1 - 6 (6).

TEKNISKE DATA
hastighed.Skift kun hastighed når motoren er standset (dia.4).
For at starte motoren trykkes på sikkerhedskontakten (4) og
på strømknappen (dia.5.) Brug topholderen (1) til at styre
savearbejdet.
Du kan flytte saven tilbage eller fremad hvis det er nødvendigt,
men pres den ikke.
For at stoppe saven skal du blot slippe strømknappen.
Det mindre blad,som er vedlagt, bruges til at skære/save i
tyndt metal (maks. 3mm) som f.eks. aluminium eller kobber.
Dette blad fastgøres på nøjagtig samme måde. Pres ikke
bladet/klingen når der skæres/saves i metaller.
Rengøring
Afbryd saven fra strømforsyningen.
Brug kun en blød, let fugtet klud til rengøring af din sav.
Brug ikke almindelige husholdningsrengøringsmidler,da de kan
beskadige plastkabinettet.
Brug ikke benzin,malingsfortynder eller andre kemikalier.
Brug ikke saven,hvis den har været udsat for vand eller andre
væsker.
