Funktion und Anwendung
Durch wechselseitige Belüftung bewegt
sich der Innenläufer im Rohr hin und her.
Die Übertragung der Bewegung auf den
Schlitten geschieht ausschließlich kraft-
schlüssig durch eine magnetische Kupp-
lung.
Der SLM wird platzsparend zum Masse-
transport eingesetzt.
Voraussetzungen für den
Produkteinsatz
Allgemeine, stets zu beachtende Hin-
weise für den ordnungsgemäßen und si-
cheren Einsatz des Produkts:
•Halten Sie die angegebenen Grenz-
werte ein (z.B. für Drücke, Kräfte,
Momente, Massen, Geschwindigkei-
ten, Temperaturen).
•Sorgen Sie für ordungsgemäß aufbe-
reitete Druckluft.
•Berücksichtigen Sie die vorherr-
schenden Umgebungsbedingungen.
Function and application
The internal slide moves backwards and
forwards in the barrel by means of air ap-
plied to each side alternately.
The transfer of movement to the outer
slide is made via a magnetic coupling.
The SLM is used to move loads in re-
stricted spaces.
Safety conditions
These general conditions for the correct
and safe use of the product must be ob-
served at all times.
•Please observe the specified limits
(e.g. for pressures, forces, torques,
masses, speeds, temperatures).
•Please ensure that there is a supply
of correctly prepared compressed air.
•Please observe the prevailing am-
bient conditions.

•Beachten Sie die Vorschriften der
Berufsgenossenschaft, des Techni-
schen Überwachungsvereins oder
entsprechende nationale Bestimmun-
gen.
•Entfernen Sie alle Transportvorkeh-
rungen wie Schutzwachs, Folien,
Kappen und Kartonagen.
Die Entsorgung der einzelnen Werk-
stoffe in Recycling-Sammelbehälter
ist möglich.
•Behalten Sie das einmal gewählte
Medium über die gesamte Produktle-
bensdauer bei.
Beispiel: immer ungeölte Druckluft
verwenden.
•Belüften Sie Ihre gesamte Anlage
langsam.
Dann treten keine unkontrollierten
Bewegungen auf.
•Verwenden Sie das Produkt im Origi-
nalzustand ohne jegliche eigenmäch-
tige Veränderung.
•Please comply with national and
local safety laws and regulations.
•Remove all packaging such as pro-
tective wax, foils (polyamide), caps
(polyethylene).
The individual materials can be dis-
posed of in recycling containers.
•Maintain the medium selected at the
start for the complete service life of
the product, e.g if non-lubricated
compressed air is selected, this
should always be used thereafter.
•Slowly pressurize the complete sy-
stem.
This will prevent sudden uncon-
trolled movements from occurring.
•Unauthorized product modification is
not permitted.

Transport und Lagerung
•Berücksichtigen Sie das Gewicht der
SLM.
Sie wiegen bis zu 25 kg.
Einbau
mechanisch
•Behandeln Sie den SLM so, daß kei-
ne Schäden am Zylinderrohr auftre-
ten.
Diese führen zur Minderung der Be-
triebssicherheit.
•Lassen Sie sämtliche Gewindestifte
oder versenkte Schrauben mit Innen-
sechskant zugeschraubt.
Sie sind aus Sicherheitsgründen mit
Schraubensicherungsmittel (Teile-Nr.
247 891) gesichert.
•Befestigen Sie beide Endjoche an
der Haltevorrichtung mit je zwei
Schrauben und gehen Sie weiter wie
folgt vor:

•Please take into account the weight
of the SLM.
It weighs up to 25 kg.
Fitting
Mechanical
•Take care when handling the SLM to
prevent any damage to the cylinder
barrel.
Damage could impair reliable and
safe operation.
•Leave all threaded pins or counter-
sunk screws with socket heads fa-
stened.
For safety reasons these are secu-
red with screw retainer adhesive
(part no. 247 891).
•Fasten the two end yokes to the sup-
port device with two screws each
and proceed as follows:

1. Drehen Sie in den Endjochen vorhan-
dene Anschläge für die Stoßdämpfer
auf beiden Seiten komplett heraus.
2. Drehen Sie beide Anschläge für den
Schlitten einige Umdrehungen vom
Schlitten weg.
Je nach Ausführung heißt das
- in die Endjoche oder
- in die Anschlagplatte hinein.
Die eingeklebten Sensoren drehen
sich mit.
3. Positionieren Sie vorhandene An-
schlagplatten zur Hubbegrenzung fol-
gendermaßen:
- Klemmschrauben der Anschlag-
platten lösen
- Anschlagplatte vom Endjoch zum
Schlitten hin verschieben
- Anschlagplatte etwa 30 mm vor
die gewünschte Endlage des
Schlittens einstellen
4. Drehen Sie die vier Klemmschrauben
der Anschlagplatte wieder fest.
1. Unscrew and remove completely the
existing stops for the shock absorbers
in the end yokes on both sides.
2. Screw both stops for the slide several
turns away from the slide.
Depending on the type, this means:
- into the end yokes or
- into the stop plate.
The glued-in sensors will turn as well.
3. Position the stop plates for stroke limit
as follows:
- Loosen the locking screws on the
stop plates
- Shift the stop plate from the end
yoke to the slide
- Set the stop plate approx. 30 mm
in front of the desired end position
of the slide.
4. Tighten the four locking screws of the
stop plate again.

5. Schieben Sie den SLM von Hand in
eine Endlage.
Der Stoßdämpfer muß dabei folgen-
den Zustand aufweisen:
- bei Ausführung mit Anschlagplatte:
ganz eingefahren
- bei Ausführung ohne Anschlagplatte:
ganz ausgefahren in die Gewinde-
bohrung des Endjoches oder des
Schlittens.
6. Drehen Sie den schlittennahen An-
schlag (8)
- zunächst bis auf Schlittenberüh-
rung heraus.
- dann in die gewünschte Anschlags-
position.
7. Drehen Sie die zugehörige Kontermut-
ter fest.
8. Drehen Sie einen anfangs ausge-
schraubten Anschlag für den Stoß-
dämpfer dieser Endlage wieder ein.
5. Push the SLM by hand into an end po-
sition. When you do this, the shock ab-
sorber must be in the following state:
- with the design with stop plate
completely retracted
- with the design without stop plate
completely extended into the
threaded bore of the end yoke.
6. Turn the stop near the slide (8)
- at first until it touches the slide;
- then turn it to the desired stop
position.
7. Tighten the relevant lock nut.
8. Screw in again a shock absorber stop
which was previously screwed out.

9. Justieren Sie folgende Teile so in der
Gewindebohrung des Endjochs, daß
der Abstand A am Stoßdämpfer gera-
de noch größer 0 mm bleibt.
10. Wiederholen Sie die Punkte 5 bis 9
in der anderen Endlage.
11. Notieren Sie sich den Abstand B
zwischen vorhandener Anschlagplat-
te und Schlittenkante in beiden End-
lagen.
12. Plazieren Sie Ihre Nutzlast so auf
dem Schlitten, daß das Kippmoment
aus der statischen Kraft F und dem
Hebelarm a klein bleibt.
Zum Befestigen der Nutzlast sind
Nutsteine erforderlich.
Es gilt:

9. Adjust the following parts in the
threaed bore of the end yoke, so that
distance A on the shock absorber al-
ways remains greater than 0 mm.
10. Repeat sections 5 to 9 for the other
end position.
11. Make a note of the distance "B" be-
tween the existing stop plate and the
edge of the slide in both end positi-
ons.
12. Place the work load on the slide so
that the torque from the static force
"F" and the lever arm "a" remains
minimal.
Sliding blocks are required for fasten-
ing the work load.
The following applies:

•Verwenden Sie Drossel-Rückschlag-
ventile vom Typ GRLA-... zum Ein-
stellen der Schlitten-Geschwindigkeit.
Diese werden direkt in die Druckluf-
tanschlüsse eingeschraubt.
•Prüfen Sie die Notwendigkeit von
gesteuerten Rückschlagventilen Typ
HGL-...
Bei Druckabfall in senkrechter oder
schräger Einbaulage vermeiden Sie
damit ein plötzliches Abwärtsgleiten
der beweglichen Masse.
•Verwenden Sie zwei 3/2-Wegeventi-
le (in Grundstellung offen) zur An-
steuerung der SLM.
Nur so wird der Schlitten ortsfest ein-
gespannt beim Anhalten zwischen
den Endlagen.
elektrisch
•Verkabeln Sie Sensoren und
Näherungsschalter nach Plan
(siehe separate Bedienungsanlei-
tung).
•Use one-way flow control valves of
type GRLA-... for setting the slide
speed.
These valves must be screwed
directly into the compressed air
connections.
Check to see if open-loop controlled
non-return valves type HGL-... are
necessary.
If there is a drop in pressure when the
drive is fitted in a vertical or diagonal
position, the movable load could sud-
denly slide down.
•Use two 3/2-way directional control
valves (normally open) for controlling
the SLM.
Only in this way will the slide be
held in position when it stops be-
tween the two end positions.
Electrical
•Wire the circuit for the sensors and
the proximity switch(es) in accord-
ance with the plan (see separate
operating instructions).
