Battery Installation

"AA" (LR6)
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer
battery life.
• Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the
countertop.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door.
• Insert three, new "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten
the screw.
• When sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time
for an adult to change the batteries!

Battery Safety Information
Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn
injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
•Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different
types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
•Insert batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
•Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Dispose of batteries safely.
•Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
•Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type,
as recommended.
•Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
•Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy
before charging.
•If removable, rechargeable batteries are used,
they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

• Grasp the front panel and pull it toward you to unfold
the kitchen.
•Press the bottom shelf down to “snap” it into position.

• Lower the racks, as shown.

• Push the sides of the kitchen out so they are flat .
•Lower the countertop .

• Fit the top shelf onto the shelf support.
•Press the shelf until it “snaps” in place.

• Fit the refrigerator handle over the two holes in the
refrigerator door, as shown.
•While holding the handle in place, insert two screws into
the holes in the refrigerator door. Tighten the screws.

• Make sure the areas where the labels will be applied are
clean and dry.
• Apply the labels as shown in the illustrations.
• For best results, avoid repositioning a label once it has
been applied.

•Press the sink handle down.
•Open the refrigerator door. Place your hand up under the
countertop and press the button inside to release the
countertop, as shown.

•Turn the stove dials to hear cooking sound effects.

•Lift the countertop and press it under the pot hooks to hold
the countertop up.

•Cut out your own picture (not included) and slide it into the
slot in the frame as shown.

Care
•Before using the cooking and eating utensils, hand wash
them in hot, soapy water.
• Check the plastic parts regularly and if broken or cracked,
dispose of them properly.
• Wipe this toy with a clean cloth dampened with a mild
soap and water solution. Do not immerse this toy.
• This toy has no consumer serviceable parts. Do not take
this toy apart.
