Battery replacement is required. Only adults should install batteries.
Tool required: Phillips screwdriver (not included).
Wipe this toy with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse this toy.
This toy has no consumer serviceable parts. Do not take apart.

CAUTION
This package contains small
parts. For adult assembly only.
• Turn the toy so that the back is facing you.
• Fit the base to the back of the toy.
• Insert four screws into the base and tighten
with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not overtighten
the screws.
• For longer life, use alkaline batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment door on the
back of the toy.
• Loosen the screws in the battery
compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver
and remove the door.
• Remove the exhausted batteries and
properly dispose.
• Insert two, new AA (LR6) alkaline batteries.
• Replace the battery compartment door and
tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not over-tighten.
• If the toy begins to operate erratically you
may need to reset the electronics. Slide the
power/volume switch off and then back on.
• When sounds and lights from this toy become
faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change
the batteries.

• Slide the power/volume switch on the top of
the toy to ON with low volume, ON with
high volume or OFF.
• Drop a ball through a hole, bat at the maracas
or tap the lion to hear fun sounds and music
with lights!
Hint: If your child is not actively playing with
this toy, it will enter sleep mode.

In exceptional circumstances, batteries
may leak fluids that can cause a chemical
burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries
of different types: alkaline, standard
(carbon-zinc) or rechargeable.
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-
use. Always remove exhausted batteries from
the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not
dispose of the product in a fire. The batteries
inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent
type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy
before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are
used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.
