Battery
Installation
• Open the fabric cover on the the back
of the toy and locate the battery
compartment door.
• Loosen the screw using a Phil-
lips screwdriver.
• Open the battery compartment door
and insert three “AA” (LR6)
alkaline batteries.
• Close the battery compartment door
and tighten the screw using a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Note: When music, sounds or lights
become faint or stop, it’s time for
an adult to replace the batteries.

In exceptional circumstances, batteries
may leak fluids that can cause a chemical
burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or
batteries of different types: alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the
battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods
of non-use. Always remove exhausted
batteries from the product. Dispose of
batteries safely. Do not dispose of
product in a fire. The batteries inside
may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or
equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the
product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are
used, they are only to be charged under
adult supervision.

Note: It is better the tie the ribbons in
a knot than a bow, since a bow may be
easily untied.

IMPORTANT! Always attach all provided
fasteners (strings, straps, clamps, etc.)
tightly to a crib or playpen according to
the instructions. Check frequently. If you
are attaching this toy to a crib side rail
that can be lowered and raised, make
sure the crib side rail is in the raised
(locked) position whenever a child is
in the crib.
• Position the piano inside baby's crib,
near the mattress.
• For newborns, place the piano on a side
rail where baby can easily hear and see it.
• For infants, place the piano within baby's
reach (near baby's feet).
• Tie each fastener to fit snugly around
a crib spindle.

Mode 2: Play & Learn
• Turn the mode dial to 2 to learn about
letters, numbers and animals.
• Baby can kick or press any piano key to
hear the letter pressed, the name of the
animal, and an animal sound.
• When baby kicks or presses the same
piano key, listen to the number pressed
and counting (along with flashing lights)
and a short tune.
Mode 3: Floor Piano
• Remove the piano from the crib.
• Turn the mode dial to 3 for keyboard fun!
• Press the piano keys to compose a fun
tune! The lights twinkle each time a key
is pressed.
Note: The piano automatically turns off
(sleep mode) if your child is not actively
playing with it in Modes 2 and 3. Press
any key to restart the piano.
• For longest battery life, turn power off
when not in use.
• Turn the Mode Dial to:
1 - Melody Medley
2 - Play and Learn
3 - Floor Piano
0 - Off
Mode 1: Melody Medley
• Turn the mode dial to 1 for a medley of
songs and twinkling lights. The medley
will play through nine different nursery
melodies three times.
• Press a piano key at any time during the
medley to go to the next melody.
Note: The piano automatically turns off
(sleep mode) after it cycles through the
nine melodies three times. Press any key
to restart the piano.

• Open the fabric cover on the back of the
piano and locate the volume switch.
• Adjust volume to high or low , for
your child’s comfort. • To remove the fabric cover, open the
fasteners on the back of the piano. Lift
the lock tabs, one side at a time, to
separate and remove the fabric cover
from the piano.
• Hand wash the fabric cover in cold
water with a mild detergent. Line dry.
Do not machine wash or dry the fabric
cover. Surface wash the piano by wiping
it with a damp cloth. Do not immerse
the piano.
• To replace the fabric cover, first fit the
piano into the cover. Make sure the
shape lights on the front of the piano
fit into the shape cut-outs in the
fabric cover.
• Gently press between the shape lights
until you hear a "click" to secure the
fabric cover in place.
• Pull gently on the fabric cover to make
sure it is attached to the piano.
• Press the fasteners to close the
fabric cover.
