IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
ADVICE
1. Before nstall ng, connect ng, start ng up, us ng and ma nta n ng the dev ce, please read th s manual completely.
2. After rece v ng the product, check that t has not been damaged dur ng transport. If the product appears to be
damaged, DO NOT START TO MOUNT THE DEVICE; nstead, you must mmed ately report the damage to the
carr er.
3. The dev ce must be mounted n a stable way and n accordance w th the nstruct ons, n a place that can be
eas ly accessed, thus ensur ng the poss b l ty of carry ng out repa rs and rout ne ma ntenance, as well as allow ng
easy and safe d sassembly of the dev ce.
4. The stab l ty and durab l ty of nstallat on of the dev ce depends on the structure of the bu ld ng ( n part cular
walls and ce l ngs). The person perform ng the assembly should take these cond t ons nto account when mount ng
the dev ce.
5. The techn cal documentat on should be kept n a safe place, eas ly access ble to the user and serv ce techn c an.
6. The nameplate s located next the cable glands on the top of the dev ce.
7. Always test the operat on of the dev ce after nstallat on.
8. The dev ce should not be nstalled d rectly under the wall socket
CAUTION
1. The power connect on shall be performed only by an author zed person.
2. The dev ce may start automat cally (when mot on s detected n the sensor area).
3. The dev ce s not equ pped w th a thermostat that controls the room temperature. Do not use the dev ce n
small rooms where there are people who are not able to leave the prem ses alone. Above ment oned does not
apply to rooms w th constant superv s on.
4. The dev ce requ res per od c nspect ons n accordance w th the nstruct ons n th s manual.
5. Do not hang/put pressure on the dev ce.
6. Do not place any objects on the dev ce or hang anyth ng on the connect on stubs.
7. The product should be stored and assembled out of the reach of small ch ldren.
8. The dev ce s ded cated to work ndoors w th a max mum a r dust ness of 0.3 g / m3. The dev ce has elements
made of alum num, copper and galvan zed steel and cannot be used n an corros ve env ronment.
9. Equ pment cannot be used n an env ronment where o l m st s present.
10. Th s equ pment may be used by ch ldren that are at least 8 years old, by persons w th reduced phys cal and
mental ab l t es and persons w th no exper ence and knowledge of the equ pment, on cond t on that the
superv s on or nstruct on regard ng correct use of the equ pment n a safe manner s prov ded and the poss ble
threats are understood. The dev ce cannot be used by ch ldren to play. Unattended ch ldren should not clean or
ma nta n the equ pment.

ELIS G a r curta n s a h gh-qual ty dev ce that, by creat ng an a r barr er, reduces heat exchange losses. The dev ce s ded cated ONLY for ndoor
use. The ELIS G a r curta n s ntended for hor zontal nstallat on above a door open ng or vert cal nstallat on w th a door open ng w th a

ADVICE
1. In bu ld ngs where thermal comfort s requ red, t s recommended to use a heated a r curta n (W or E).
2. Underpressure n the bu ld ng s gn f cantly reduces the eff c ency of the a r barr er, the vent lat on system should be balanced.
3. At a w nd speed of more than 3 m / s, the heated vers on of a r curta n should be used to ncrease user comfort.

7. INSTALATION
A r curta ns must be nstalled as close as poss ble to the door open ng and cover:
- the ent re w dth (appl es to hor zontal nstallat on),
- full he ght (appl es to vert cal mount ng).

8. MOUNTING - RECOMMENDED DISTANCES
Elis G air curtains are delivered with set of hangers which allow install them horizontally as well as vertically. Installation pins and screws required for
fix unit to the wall/floor/post are not included.
Max size of covered doorway :

Vert cal nstallat on s executed v a ncluded n set nstallat on plates ❶, wh ch should mount un t to the floor. Next a r curta n should be
putted on the f rst one and screwed w th t v a nstallat on plate ❶ and ❷, those nstallat on plates must be anchored to the wall/post
(draw ng). It s also requ red to anchor the dev ce at the h ghest po nt of the nstallat on. In the case of vert cal mount ng, mount ng up to
4 stacked curta ns.

9. CONNECTING OF ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
G-N-150; G-W-150; G-W-150 2R; G-E-150; G-N-200; G-W-200; G-W-200 2R; G-E-200; G-N-250; G-W-250; G-E-250
To supply curta n w th power connect t by connect on box closest to un t s de (or G-W / N / E-250, two electr cal connect ons to the fans are
requ red). Protract cable by glands (PG9 or PG11) and connect w res accord ng to scheme from box cover.
G-E-150; G-E-200; G-E-250
To act vate the curta n fans, the 3N 400V / 50 Hz heat ng elements should be powered by connect ng the cables to the box located between the
fan nozzles (through the PG29 gland). Then connect the start s gnal from the RX man fold to the connectors (L; N through the PG9 gland).
WARNING
1.
The power connect on should be made n accordance w th the techn cal documentat on. The dev ce
nstallat on should always be carr ed out n accordance w th appl cable local safety standards.
2. The cross-sect on and type of the cable and the protect on should be selected by the des gner. Always
make sure that d sconnectors and c rcu t breakers are properly s zed and d sconnect all poles of the power
supply
3. Make sure that the connect on of power supply and controllers to the ELIS G curta n s made n
accordance w th the electr cal spec f cat ons and the nstruct ons ncluded n the connect on d agrams n
the techn cal documentat on.
4. Before connect ng the power supply, check that the ma ns voltage corresponds to the voltage on the
dev ce's type plate.
5. Check the power connect on before connect ng the a r curta n.
6. Start ng the dev ce w thout connect ng the ground ng w re s not allowed.
7. Protect the power cord aga nst pull ng out by clamp ng t n the stuff ng boxes of the fans and the
junct on box.
8. T ghten all connect on cables n the block properly
9. In the event of a hazard due to un ntent onal reset of the thermal sw tch, th s curta n (ELIS G E) should
not be powered by an external connect ng dev ce such as a t me sw tch, or connected to a c rcu t that s
regularly sw tched off and sw tched on dur ng use.

16. ADJUSTMENT OF OUTLET GRILLE
The dev ce s equ pped adjustable outlet gr lles. The angle should be
set manually w th n +/- 17 °. The a rflow from the outlet gr lle should
be d rected as close as poss ble to the plane of the door open ng
(tak ng nto account the cond t ons preva l ng at the door open ng).
ADVICE
In order to ncrease the effect veness of the a r barr er dur ng w ndy
cond t ons, the curta n ’s a r stream should be d rected outs de the
door to create a more eff c ent a r barr er to external factors.
17. CONNECTION OF HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION
WARNING
1. D sconnect the curta n power supply before connect ng the water system.
2. The connect on should be made w thout stress. It s recommended to use flex ble ducts supply ng the heat ng
med um.
3. Water supply should be connected to the connector marked w th the symbol of red arrow.
4. The nstallat on w th the heat ng med um must be protected aga nst the ncrease of the heat ng med um
pressure above the perm ss ble value (1.6 MPa).
5. Before start ng the dev ce, check the correct connect on of the heat ng med um and the system for leaks.
6. Dur ng assembly of the nstallat on t s absolutely necessary to mmob l ze the exchanger's connector p pes
(counter)
7. After f ll ng the system w th heat ng med um, check the t ghtness of the hydraul c connect ons, nclud ng the
bu lt- n vent.
ADVICE
1. It s recommended to use bleed ng/a r release valves at the h ghest po nt of the nstallat on.
2. In the event that the water from the dev ce s dra ned for a longer per od of t me, the exchanger tubes should
be blown and dr ed w th compressed a r.
3. Installat on should be carr ed out n such a way that n the event of a fa lure t s poss ble to d smantle the dev ce
(use of flex ble hoses s recommended). For th s purpose, use shut

t me, the exchanger tubes should be blown w th compressed a r.
20. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ADVICE
Per od cally check (at least tw ce a year) the d rt ness level of the heat exchanger (ELIS G W), electr c heaters
(ELIS G E). Clogg ng a part of the a r ntake causes a decrease n the heat ng power of the dev ce and adversely
affects the operat on of the fan, and n the case of electr c heaters t can cause permanent loss of rated
parameters.
Clean ng the exchanger should be carr ed out n accordance w th the follow ng gu del nes:
 The power supply must be d sconnected dur ng clean ng.
 D smantle the fans and clean the exchanger through the a r nozzles.
 When clean ng the exchanger, be careful not to bend the alum num f ns.
 It s not recommended to use sharp objects for clean ng, due to the poss b l ty of damage to the lamellas.
 Clean ng w th compressed a r s recommended.
 The exchanger cannot be cleaned w th water!
 Clean ng should be carr ed out along the slats, w th the blow ng nozzle perpend cular to exchanger.
