Reset Restart and restore factory default settings.
Button Description
SWAP
Press the button and the indicator is on, and the indicator will
automatically turn o after a while. If the indicator is on, the
Ethernet port indicator indicates PoE power supply.

Installation Requirements
Phillips screwdriver.
Standard-sized, 19" wide rack with a minimum of 1U height available.
Category 5e or higher RJ45 Ethernet cables for connecting the network devices.
M6 screws.
Before you begin the installation, make sure that you have the following:

Do not operate it in an area that exceeds an ambient temperature of 50ºC.
Be sure that the switch is level and stable to avoid any hazardous conditions.
Do not install the equipment in a dusty environment.
The installation site must be free from leaking or dripping water, heavy dew, and humidity.
Ensure rack and working platforms are well earthed.
The installation site must be well ventilated. Ensure that there is adequate air fow around the
switch.

1. Connect one end of the grounding cable to a proper earth ground, such as the rack in which the
switch is mounted.
2. Secure the grounding lug to the grounding point on the switch back panel with the washers and
screws.

1. Plug the AC power cord into the power port on the back of the switch.
2. Connect the other end of the power cord to an AC power source.

WARNING: Do not install power cables while the power is on.
Connecting the RJ45 Ports
1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port of IP cameras, IP telephones, Access Points (AP), or other
network devices.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port of the switch.

Connecting the SFP/SFP+ Ports
1. Plug the compatible SFP/SFP+ transceiver into the SFP/SFP+ port.
2. Connect a ber optic cable to the ber transceivers. Then connect the other end of the cable to
other ber devices.
WARNING: Laser beams will cause eye damage. Do not look into bores of optical modules
or optical bers without eye protection.
Connecting the Console Port
1. Insert the RJ45 connector of the console cable into the RJ45 console port on the front of the switch.
2. Connect the other end of the console cable to the RS-232 serial port on the computer.

Conguring the Switch
Step 1: Connect the computer to any Ethernet port of the switch using the network cable.
Step 2: Set the IP address of the computer to 192.168.1.x. ("x" is any number from 2 to 254.). Set the
subnet mask of the computer to 255.255.255.0.

Use the following DNS server addresses:
Step 3: Open a browser, type http://192.168.1.1, and enter the default username and password,
admin/admin.
Step 4: Click sign in to display the web-based conguration page.
Step 1: Connect a computer to the switch's console port using the supplied console cable.
Step 2: Start the terminal simulation software such as HyperTerminal on the computer.
Step 3: Set the parameters of the HyperTerminal: 115200 bits per second, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop
bit and no ow control.

Troubleshooting
After loading fails, the system will keep running in the original version. At this time, users should
re-check if physical port connections are good rstly. If some ports are not connected, then re-connect
them to ensure that physical connections are correct, and begin re-loading. If physical connections
are correct, then check the loading process information displayed on the super terminal to verify if
there are input errors. If there are input errors, correct them and re-load.
Loading Failure Troubleshooting
User Password Lost Troubleshooting
If the system password is lost or forgotten, the following method can be used to reset the password:
1. Connect the console port of the switch to the computer through the console cable.
2. Press ctrl + p to enter the Monitor# interface.
3. Delete the conguration le to achieve reset.
monitor#delete startup-cong
this le will be erased, are you sure?(y/n)y,
monitor#reboot
Do you want to reboot the Switch(y/n)?y
NOTE: Forgetting your username and password and restoring them through console port
may cause conguration loss and business interruption. Please remember your username
and password.

Conguration System Troubleshooting
1. Make sure the power supply is normal and the console cable is properly connected.
2. Check if the console cable is the right type.
3. Check if the control cable driver is properly installed on the computer.
4. Ensure the parameters of the HyperTerminal are correct.

RJ45-Ethernet-Kabel der Kategorie 5e oder höher zum Anschließen der Netzwerkgeräte.
M6 Schrauben.
Bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen, stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie

Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einer Umgebungstemperatur, die 50 ºC überschreitet.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Schalter eben und stabil steht, um mögliche Gefahrensituationen zu
vermeiden.
Bitte installieren Sie das Gerät nicht in einer staubigen Umgebung.
Der Installationsort muss frei von austretendem oder tropfendem Wasser, starkem Tau und
Feuchtigkeit sein.
Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass Rack und Beriebsplattform gut geerdet sind.
Der Installationsort muss gut belüftet sein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass um den Schalter herum
eine ausreichende Luftzufuhr besteht.

1. Bitte verbinden Sie ein Ende des Erdungskabels mit einer geeigneten Erdung, z.B. mit dem Rack, in
dem der Switch montiert ist.
2. Bitte befestigen Sie die Erdungsöse mit den Unterlegscheiben und schrauben am Erdungspunkt auf
der Rückseite des Switches.

ACHTUNG: Der Erdungsanschluss darf nur entfernt werden, wenn alle
Versorgungsanschlüsse getrennt wurden.

2. Schließen Sie das andere Ende des Netzkabels an eine Wechselstromquelle an.

Anschluss der RJ45 Ports
1. Schließen Sie ein Ethernet Kabel an den RJ45 Ports von IP-Kameras, IP-Telefonen, Access Points (AP)
oder anderen Netzwerkgeräten an.
2. Schließen Sie das andere Ende des Ethernet Kabels an den RJ45 Port des Switches an.

Anschluss der SFP/SFP+ Ports
1. Stecken Sie das kompatible SFP/SFP+ Transceiver in den SFP/SFP+ Port ein.
2. Schließen Sie ein Glasfaserkabel an die Transceiver an. Schließen Sie dann das andere Ende des
Kabels an andere Glasfasergeräte an.
WARNUNG: Laserstrahlen verursachen Augenschäden. Schauen Sie nicht ohne
Augenschutz in Bohrungen von optischen Modulen oder optischen Fasern.
Anschluss des Konsolenport
1. Stecken Sie den RJ45 Stecker des Konsolenkabels in den RJ45-Konsolenport an der Vorderseite des
Switches.
2. Schließen Sie das andere Ende des Konsolenkabels an den seriellen RS-232 Port des Computers an.
