Sehr geehrter Kunde,
vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eines unserer Qualitätsproduk-
te entschieden haben. Im Folgenden werden wir Ihnen die
Funktionen und die Handhabung unseres Gerätes erklären.
Bitte nehmen Sie sich die Zeit, lesen die Anleitung in Ruhe
durch und benutzen Sie das Gerät in der beschriebenen Form.
Beachten Sie alle enthalten Sicherheits- und Bedienungshin-
weise. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf und geben Sie diese
bei Weitergabe des Gerätes mit. Sollten Sie Fragen oder An-
regungen zu diesem Gerät haben, wenden Sie sich bitte an
Ihren Fachhändler oder an unser Service-Team

1. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Gerät ist konzipiert, um Ameisen frühzeitig und dau-
erhaft aus einem Bereich zu vertreiben. Es wird in den Boden
eingesteckt und erzeugt dort in Abständen von 45 Sekunden
Schwingungen von 600 Hz, die Ameisen als störend empfin-
den. Eine andere Verwendung als die angegebene ist nicht
zulässig! Bei Schäden, die durch unsachgemäßer Verwen-
dung und/oder Nichtbeachtung der Bedienungsanleitung
und/oder durch nicht erlaubten Umbau entstehen, wird keine
Haftung für einen entstandenen Schaden oder Folgeschäden
übernommen und es erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
2. Wichtige Hinweise zur Wirkungsweise und Einsatz
Das Gerät verhindert nicht den Aufenthalt von Tieren an ei-
nem bestimmten Ort. Andere Orte jedoch, werden den Tieren
angenehmer erscheinen. Sie beginnen vermehrt den betrof-
fenen Bereich zu meiden. Merken die Tiere, dass der unange-
nehme Ton anhält, werden sie an einen anderen Ort umzie-
hen. Bis dieser Effekt eintritt, können einige Tage bis wenige
Wochen vergehen. Wie gut sich die Schallwellen ausbreiten,
hängt mit den örtlichen Gegebenheiten zusammen. Das Pro-
dukt kann an allen betroffenen Orten schnell und unkompli-
ziert angebracht werden und bietet einen optimalen Schutz.
Das Geräusch ist nicht schädlich für die Tiere.
3. Sicherheitshinweise
• Elektrogeräte, Verpackungsmaterial usw. gehören nicht in
den Aktionsbereich von Kindern.
• Gerät nur mit der dafür vorgesehenen Spannung betreiben:
1,2 V Ni-MH Knopfzelle
• Bei eventuellen Reparaturen sollten nur Original-Ersatz-
teile verwendet werden, um ernsthafte Schäden zu ver-
meiden.
• In jedem Fall ist zu prüfen, ob das Gerät für den jeweiligen
Einsatzort geeignet ist.
• Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den Gebrauch von Personen (ein-
schließlich Kinder unter 8 Jahren) mit eingeschränkten
körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten be-
stimmt.
• Das Gerät sollte nicht von Personen mit fehlender Erfah-
rung oder Kenntnissen genutzt werden, es sei denn, sie
werden dabei beaufsichtigt oder wurden diesbezüglich von
der für ihre Sicherheit verantwortliche Person aufgeklärt.
Kinder sollten nur unter Beaufsichtigung stehen, um si-
cherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Platzieren Sie das Gerät so, dass es nicht zur Stolperfalle
wird.
• Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung auf und geben Sie diese bei
Weitergabe des Gerätes mit.
• Batterien und Akkus sollten Temperaturen unter 0° C nicht
ausgesetzt sein. Es kann zu Beschädigungen und einen
Verlust der Kapazität führen.

5. Inbetriebnahme
1. Das Gerät sollte vor dem ersten Einsatz erst einmal voll
aufgeladen werden.
2. Stellen Sie den An-/Aus-Schalter in die Position „OFF“.
3. Setzen Sie das Solar-Panel ca. 2 Tage möglichst voller Son-
ne aus, sodass sich der Akku vor Inbetriebnahme komplett
aufladen kann.

4. Schalten Sie das Gerät anschließend in die Position „ON“ um
die Funktionsfähigkeit zu prüfen. Die ausgesendeten Töne
sind für ein gesundes, menschliches Ohr wahrnehmbar.
Betrieb:
Suchen Sie sich eine Stelle im Rasen, die kurz geschnitten ist.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Grashalme, Büsche oder Bäume wäh-
rend des Verlaufs der Sonne keinen Schatten auf das Solar-
panel werfen. Dies würde die Ladezeit des Akkus verlängern.
Setzen Sie das Gerät so in den Boden ein, dass es möglichst
minimal herausragt. Je nach Härte des Bodens können Sie ein
Loch vorgraben. Wenn Sie ein Loch graben, achten Sie nach
dem Einsetzen darauf, dass Sie die Erde rund um den Stab
wieder fest andrücken. Je dichter der Boden rund um den
Stab ist, desto besser und weiter werden die Quarzschwin-
gungen weitergeleitet. Sie könne das Gerät präventiv gegen
eine Invasion von Ameisen in Ihren Garten einsetzen. Wenn
der Einsatz präventiv ist, platzieren Sie mehrere Geräte im
Abstand von 20-25 Meter voneinander entfernt an den Rand
des Grundstücks. Wenn Sie schon Ameisen im Garten haben,
setzen Sie das Gerät zwischen Haus und Ameisenbau. Ziel ist
es die Insekten aus den Garten zu vertreiben. Wenn die Amei-
sen sich von dem Gerät weg bewegen, versetzen Sie das Gerät
etwas weiter in Richtung Gartengrenze. Beachten Sie, dass
Barrieren im Boden (Fundamente oder Beet-Einfassungen)
die Ausbreitung des Schalls behindern können. Schalten Sie
das Gerät ein. Es wird ein 2-4 Wochen dauern, aber sie wer-
den feststellen, dass die Ameisen das Gebiet verlassen. Die
Zeitspanne ist abhängig von der Bodenbeschaffenheit, die
starken Einfluss auf die Weiterleitung des Schalls hat. Sandi-
ger Boden leitet den Schall nicht so gut wie fester.
Anmerkung: Tiervertreiber-Produkte mit einem Solarpanel
sind für sonnenstarke Monate sehr gut geeignet. In der dunk-
len Jahreszeit empfehlen wir, das Gerät aus dem Garten zu
entfernen, da zum einen der Akku möglicherweise nicht mehr
geladen wird und zum anderen der Akku durch Frost beschä-
digt werden könnte.

8. Garantie
Die Gewährleistung umfasst die Beseitigung aller Mängel,

fehler zurückzuführen sind. Da Gardigo keinen Einfluss auf
die richtige und sachgemäße Montage oder Bedienung hat,
kann verständlicherweise nur die Gewähr der Vollständigkeit
und einwandfreien Beschaffenheit übernommen werden.
Es wird weder eine Gewähr noch Haftung für Schäden oder
Folgeschäden im Zusammenhang mit diesem Produkt über-
nommen. Dies gilt vor allem dann, wenn Veränderungen oder
Reparaturversuche an dem Gerät vorgenommen wurden,

1. Designated Use
This device is designed to deter ants and keep them away
from your garden. It is inserted into the ground and emits an
acoustic impulse of 600 Hz every 45 seconds. Ants will find
this noise most disturbing and leave the area within a short
time. Any other use as the mentioned is not permitted! No li-
abilities will be taken for damages or consequential damages
or claims resulting out of not reading and/or not following
the user guide and/or any form of modification on or in the
product. Under these circumstances, no warranty services
will be granted.
2. Important Notices
The device does not hinder the animals from being in the
area. It makes them feel uncomfortable and the animals will
move to other areas, which appear more pleasant and quie-
ter. If the irritating sound stays, the animals will leave the
area. It may take a few days or weeks until the effect fully
takes place. The dispersion of the sound is related to the local
surroundings. The product can be mounted quickly and im-
mediately provides an optimum protection against animals.
The ultrasonic frequencies are not harmful to the animals.
3. Safety Instructions
• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not be-
long in the hands of children.
• The device may only be used with the stated voltage: 1,2V

• If repairs are needed, only original spare parts may be used
to avoid serious damage.

5. Getting Started
1. Before use, we recommend to fully charge the rechargeab-
le cell, as it will have slightly discharge during storage and
delivery.
2. Switch the device to „OFF“.
3. Submit the solar panel to full sunlight for at least two
days, so that the battery can be completely recharged.
4. Switch the device to „ON“ to check the function. The emit-
ted sound can now easily be heard.
Use:
Place the stick in an area with short cut grass. Make sure
that the grass, neighbouring bushes or trees are not casting
shadows onto the solar panel during the day. This would in-
fluence the charging cycle of the rechargeable cell. Insert the
stick into the ground as far as possible. If the ground is too
hard to insert the stick directly, a hole needs to be dug. If the
device has been inserted by digging a hole, please make sure
that the surrounding earth that has been replaced is packed

tightly around the stick. The more tight and dense the sur-
rounding earth is the better the quartz vibration will travel
underground. The stick can be used as a preventive measure
against an invasion of ants in the garden. If you are using the
stick as a preventive measure, we recommend placing a num-
ber of sticks around the perimeter of the garden leaving a di-
stance of 20 - 25 m between each stick. If you already have
ants in the garden, insert the stick between the house and
the ants. Target is to drive the ants out of the garden. Once
the ants have started moving away from the stick, move the
stick towards the ant nest and the perimeter of the garden.
Please note that barriers in the ground, such as stones or
concrete foundations, are also barriers for the emitted sound.
Switch the device to “ON”. It will take approximately 2 - 4
weeks, but you will then notice, that the ants are leaving the
area. The time-span is also very dependent on the condition
and structure of the soil. If the soil contains a lot of sand,
the sound cannot travel so far. Hard and solid ground lets the
sonic waves travel further.
Note: animal repellents with a solar panel are primarily used
in the summer months when there is a lot of sun available.
In spring or autumn and winter we recommend using devices
with extractable, rechargeable batteries or external power
supplies. It is also advisable to take the device out of the
ground during winter, as low temperatures can harm the re-
chargeable battery.

• The CE conformity has been proven and the declarations
are deposited with us.
• For safety and conformity reasons it is not permitted to
rebuild or modify the device and/or use it in any other way
than described above.
• This device has a warranty of two years. As Gardigo has no
control of the correct of appropriate installation and use of
the device the warranty can only be applied to a fully equip-
ped device in prime condition. We assume neither warranty
nor liability for damages or following damages related to
this product. This applies especially if it has been modifi-
cations or repairs have been made by the customer, if the
circuitry has been modified or components have been used
other than the original components and/or if the operation
of the device has been incorrect, careless or abusive.

The guarantee covers the elimination of all shortcomings,
which can be attributed to imperfect materials or manu-

te. We assume neither a guarantee nor liability for damage

1. Utilisation prévue
Le Répulsif Fourmis Solaire est conçu pour éloigner durable-
ment les fourmis d’une zone déterminée dès leur apparition.
Le dispositif, enfoncé dans le sol, émet des fréquences de
600 Hz à intervalles de 45 secondes, ce qui incommode les
fourmis. Toute utilisation autre que celle prévue est interdite
! En cas de mauvaise utilisation du dispositif, de non-respect
des instructions ou de transformation non autorisée du dis-
positif, nous déclinons toute responsabilité pour tout préju-
dice causé ou tout dommage indirect et la garantie expire.
2. Remarques importantes sur le fonctionnement et
l’utilisation.
• Le dispositif n’empêche pas la présence d’animaux à
l’endroit choisi, cependant, ceux-ci chercheront d’autres
endroits plus hospitaliers où ils commenceront à se repro-
duire.
• Lorsque les animaux remarquent que le son désagréable
perdure, ils partent vers un autre endroit. Cela peut prend-
re quelques jours, voire quelques semaines, jusqu’à ce que
l’appareil fasse effet.

5. Mise en route
Avant la première utilisation, chargez complètement le dis-
positif, car il pourrait s’être légèrement déchargé pendant
la période de livraison. Positionnez l’interrupteur allumer/
éteindre sur OFF. Exposez la cellule solaire environ deux jours
si possible en plein soleil afin de recharger complétement la
batterie avant la première utilisation. Ensuite, positionnez
l’interrupteur sur ON pour vérifier le bon fonctionnement du
dispositif. Les sons émis sont perceptibles par l’oreille hu-
maine.
Fonctionnement:
Choisissez un endroit de la pelouse où l’herbe est coupée
court. Veillez à ce que les brins d’herbe, les buissons ou les

arbres ne fassent pas d’ombre à la cellule solaire lorsque le
soleil tourne. Cela permet de prolonger la durée de la batterie.
Placez le dispositif dans le sol de telle sorte qu’il dépasse le
moins possible. Si le sol est compact, vous pouvez creuser un
trou avant de placer le dispositif. Dans ce cas, veillez à exercer
une pression sur la terre autour du piquet après l’avoir en-
foncé. Une terre plutôt compacte autour du dispositif facilite
la diffusion des fréquences et en augmente la portée. Vous
pouvez utiliser le dispositif de manière préventive contre une
invasion de fourmis dans votre jardin. Dans ce cas, placez plu-
sieurs dispositifs à une distance de 20 à 25 mètres les uns des
autres tout autour de votre terrain. Si votre jardin est déjà
infesté de fourmis, placez le dispositif entre votre maison et
la fourmilière. Le but est de chasser les fourmis en dehors
de votre jardin. Si elles s’éloignent du dispositif, rapprochez
ce dernier un peu plus de la barrière de votre jardin. Veillez
à ce que la barrière (avec fondations ou sous forme de con-
tours de jardin) n’empêche pas la propagation des fréquen-
ces sonores. Allumez le dispositif. Après 2 à 4 semaines, vous
constaterez que les fourmis quittent votre terrain. Ce laps de
temps dépend de la nature de votre terrain, laquelle influence
la propagation des fréquences sonores. Un sol sablonneux
les propage moins bien qu’un sol compact. Remarque: les
dispositifs de répulsion d’animaux qui fonctionnent à l’aide
d’une cellule solaire sont adaptés pour les mois ensoleillés.
Pour les mois lumineux, nous vous recommandons de retirer
le dispositif du jardin, car la batterie n’a pas la possibilité de
se recharger complètement et peut également être endom-
magée par le gel.

1. Uso previsto
El ahuyentador de hormigas solar está concebido para
ahuyentar hormigas pronta y permanentemente de un área.
El dispositivo se introduce en el suelo y cada 45 segundos
genera vibraciones de 600 Hz que las hormigas encuentran
irritantes. ¡Se prohíbe usarlo para fines no previstos! En caso
de daños provocados por un uso inadecuado del dispositivo
y/o por no seguir las instrucciones y/o por llevar a cabo mo-
dificaciones no permitidas, no nos hacemos responsables de
los defectos o daños con secuenciales que puedan surgir y se
anula su derecho de garantía.
2. Indicaciones importantes en cuanto al funcionamiento
y uso
El dispositivo no impide la presencia de animales en un lugar
específico. Sin embargo, a los animales les parecerá más
agradable estar en otros lugares, donde empezarán a pa-
sar cada vez más tiempo. En cuanto se den cuenta de que
el sonido no desaparece, buscarán otro lugar. Hasta que se
produzca este efecto, pueden pasar algunos días e incluso al-
gunas semanas. El nivel de propagación de las ondas ultrasó-
nicas dependerá de las características del lugar de empleo. El
sonido no es perjudicial para los animales.
3. Indicaciones de seguridad
• El dispositivo y sus accesorios, el embalaje etc. deben ser
mantenidos lejos del alcance de niños.
• Utilice el aparato únicamente con una tensión adecuada:
1,2 V, 80 mAh Ni-MH pila botón
• En caso de reparaciones, utilice únicamente piezas de re-
cambio originales para evitar daños graves.
• En cualquier caso, hay que comprobar si el aparato es ade-

4. Puesta en servicio
Antes de usarlo por primera vez, el dispositivo debe cargar-
se por completo, ya que la batería recargable puede haberse
descargado un poco durante el tiempo de entrega. Coloque el
interruptor de encendido y apagado en la posición “OFF”. Ex-
ponga el panel solar por aprox. 2 días a la mayor cantidad de
luz solar posible, de modo que la batería esté completamente
cargada antes de la puesta en servicio. A continuación, elija
la posición “ON” para comprobar el buen funcionamiento del
dispositivo. Los sonidos emitidos son inaudibles para unos
oídos humanos sanos.
Funcionamiento:
Busque un sitio en el que el césped esté bien cortado. Asegú-
rese de que la hierba, arbustos o árboles no proyecten a lo
largo del día sombra sobre el panel solar. Esto tendría como
consecuencia un tiempo de carga de la batería más largo. In-

troduzca el dispositivo en la tierra de manera que solo una
mínima parte permanezca sobre el suelo. Dependiendo del
grado de dureza del suelo, anteriormente se puede cavar un
hoyo. En caso de cavar un hoyo, no olvide apretar la tierra
alrededor de la estaca introducida en el suelo. Cuanto más
apretada esté la tierra alrededor de la estaca, mayor será el
alcance de las vibraciones de cuarzo. El dispositivo se puede
usar de forma preventiva para evitar una invasión de hormi-
gas en su jardín. En caso de un uso preventivo, posicione va-
rios dispositivos en el margen del terreno con una distancia
de 20 a 25 m entre cada uno de ellos. En caso de que en su
jardín ya se encuentren hormigas, monte el dispositivo ent-
re la casa y el hormiguero. El objetivo consiste en ahuyentar
estos insectos del jardín. Cuando las hormigas se alejen del
dispositivo, habrá que acercarlo un poco al margen del jardín.
Tenga en cuenta que barreras dentro del suelo (cimientos o
bordes de arriates) pueden impedir la expansión del sonido.
Encienda el dispositivo. Pasarán 2 a 4 semanas hasta que el
dispositivo surta efecto y las hormigas abandonen el área en
cuestión. Este período de tiempo depende de la consistencia
del suelo, la cual influye en gran medida en la transmisión del
sonido. La capacidad de transmisión de un suelo arenoso es
peor que la de un tipo de suelo más firme.
Nota: Los ahuyentadores de animales con panel solar se
prestan muy bien para un uso durante los meses de mucho
sol. En cuanto al período más oscuro del año, se recomienda
retirar el dispositivo del jardín, ya que, por un lado, en esta
época la batería no se puede cargar por completo y, por el
otro, la helada puede llegar a dañarlo.

Indicaciones sobre la
eliminación de las pilas
Las pilas/baterías están sometidas a disposiciones legales. Por
ello, deberá entregarlas después de su uso en el punto de venta o
en un centro de recogida de residuos perteneciente a los organis-
mos públicos responsables de la gestión de los residuos. No de-
seche nunca baterías o pilas en la basura doméstica, bolsas ama-
rillas o similares. Las pilas o baterías sólo deben desecharse en el
depósito de recogida de pilas usadas cuando estén descargadas
y después de haber tomado precauciones contra cortocircuitos
(p. ej. cubrir los polos).

1. Uso previsto
Il dispositivo per l’allontanamento di formiche a energia so-
lare è stato concepito per allontanare le suddette in tempo e
permanentemente da una determinata zona. L’apparecchio
viene inserito nel terreno e genera vibrazioni di 600Hz a dis-
tanza di 45 secondi l’una dall’altra, che risulteranno fastidio-
se per le formiche.Qualsiasi uso diverso da quello specificato
non è consentito! Non verrà assunta alcuna responsabilità in
caso di eventuali danni causati da uso improprio e/o non se-
guendo le istruzioni e/o attraverso modifiche non consentite.

2. Informazioni importanti per il funzionamento e l’uso

alcuni giorni o alcune settimane. Il modo in cui si disperdono
le onde sonore è legato alle condizioni locali. Il prodotto può
essere montato rapidamente e facilmente in tutti i luoghi
offrendo la migliore protezione possibile contro gli animali. Il
suono non è dannoso per gli animali.
3. Avvertenza di sicurezza

5. Avviamento
1. Il dispositivo deve essere caricato completamente prima
del primo utilizzo, dato che durante la consegna la batteria
potrebbe essersi un po scaricata.
2. Posizionare l’interruttore sulla funzione „OFF“.
3. Posizionare il pannello solare possibilmente due giorni a
pieno sole, in modo da far caricare completamente la bat-
teria prima dell’uso.
4. Accendere il dispositivo posizionando l’interruttore su
„ON“ in modo da verificare le capacità del dispositivo.I su-

Funzionamento:
Selezionare un punto del giardino dove l’erba sia tagliata cor-
ta. Assicurarsi che non vi siano fili d’erba, cespugli o alberi
che facciano ombra sul pannello solare durante la carica. Ciò
allungherebbe i tempi di carica della batteria. Posizionare il

dispositivo nel terreno di modo che fuoriesca il meno possibi-
le. A seconda della durezza del terreno potrà essere praticato
un foro. Nel caso si scavi un buco, assicurarsi durante il po-
sizionamento del dispositivo che la terra resti ben aderente
attorno all’apparecchio. Più compressa è la terra attorno al
dispositivo, meglio e più ampliamente di disperderanno le
onde al quarzo. Il dispositivo può essere utilizzato anche in
via preventiva in previsione di una invasione di formiche. Nel
caso in cui l’installazione del dispositivo sia preventiva, im-
piegare numerosi dispositivi e posizionarli a una distanza di
20-25 metri l’uno dall’altro sul confine della proprietà. Nel
caso in cui in giardino vi siano già presenti delle formiche,
posizionare l’unità tra l’abitazione e il formicaio. L’obiettivo
è quello di allontanare gli insetti dal giardino. Se le formi-
che scostarsi del dispositivo, posizionare quest’ultimo più
vicino al confine del giardino. Si noti che barriere presenti
nel terreno ( fondamenta o aiuole) potrebbero ostacolare la
propagazione del suono. Accendere il dispositivo. Durerà circa
2-4 settimane, ma col tempo noterete come le formiche si al-
lontaneranno dal giardino. Il tempo dipende dalle condizioni
del terreno, le quali influenzano fortemente la propagazione
delle onde sonore. Il terreno sabbioso non conduce le onde
sonore così bene come quello solido.
Nota: Prodotti addetti all’allontanamento di animali ad
energia solare sono adatti all’impiego durante i mesi estivi.
Durante i mesi invernali si consiglia di allontanare il dispo-
sitivo dal giardino,dato che da un lato le batterie non hanno
la possibilità di ricaricarsi completamente, dall’altro queste
potrebbero risultare danneggiate dal freddo.

Suggerimenti importanti
per le batterie
Le batterie contengono sostanze inquinanti e il loro trattamento
è soggetto a disposizioni di legge. Per questo motivo è necessario
restituire le batterie esauste al punto di vendita oppure ai centri
di raccolta per le sostanze inquinanti presenti nel vs comune di
residenza. Non smaltire mai la batteria nei rifiuti domestici o nei
contenitori per la raccolta die altri materiali (plastica, vetro, or-
ganico o simili). Gettare le batterie esauste esclusivamente nel
contenitore previsto per le batterie, avendo cura di evitare corto
circuiti (ad esempio, coprendo i poli con nastro adesivo).

1. Gebruik volgens de voorschriften
De Solar Mieren-Afweer is ontwikkeld om mieren vroegti-
jdig en langdurig uit een gebied te verdrijven. Zodra u het
apparaat in de grond steekt, veroorzaakt het iedere 45 se-
conden trillingen van 600Hz die mieren als storend ervaren.
Een ander dan het aangegeven gebruik is niet toegestaan! Bij
schade die ontstaat door onjuist gebruik en/of niet-naleving
van de gebruiksaanwijzing en/of door niet-toegestane om-
bouw, wordt geen aansprakelijkheid voor een ontstane scha-
de of gevolgschade voldaan en de garantie vervalt.
2. Belangrijke informatie over de werking en gebruik
Het apparaat voorkomt niet het verblijf van dieren op een
bepaalde plaats. Andere plaatsen echter zullen de dieren
aangenamer lijken. Ze beginnen steeds meer het betrokken
bereik te mijden. Als de dieren merken dat het onaangena-
me geluid aanhoudt, zullen ze zich naar een andere plaats
verplaatsen. Totdat dit effect zich voordoet, kunnen een paar
dagen tot een paar weken verstrijken. Hoe goed de geluids-
golven zich verspreiden, hangt samen met de plaatselijke
omstandigheden. Het product kan op alle betrokken plaatsen
snel en eenvoudig worden aangebracht en biedt een optimale
bescherming tegen dieren. Het geluid is niet schadelijk voor
de dieren.
3. Veiligheidsinstructies
• Elektroapparaten, verpakkingsmateriaal horen niet in het
actiebereik van kindern.
• Apparaat alleen met de daarvoor bestemde spanning be-
dienen: 1,2 V, 80 mAh Ni-MH knoopcel
• Bij eventuele reparaties dienen alleen originele onderdelen
te worden gebruikt om ernstige schade te voorkomen.
• In ieder geval dient te worden gecontroleerd, of het ap-
paraat geschikt is voor de toepassingslocatie.

Laad het apparaat voor het eerste gebruik volledig op. De
accu kan gedurende de levertijd ietwat zijn leeggelopen.
Schakel de aan-/uit-schakelaar op “OFF”. Plaats het zonne-
paneel indien mogelijk ongeveer twee dagen in de volle zon
zodat de accu volledig kan opladen voor de ingebruikname.
Schakel het apparaat volgens op “ON” om te controleren of
het apparaat goed werkt. Het geluid dat wordt uitgezonden
is kan ook door een gezond menselijk oor worden waargeno-
men.

Zoek een plek op het gazon waar het gras is gemaaid. Zorg
ervoor dat grashalmen, struiken of bomen gedurende de dag
geen schaduw werpen op het zonnepaneel. Dit verlengt na-
melijk de oplaadtijd van de accu. Steek het apparaat zo diep
in de bodem dat het zo min mogelijk uitsteekt. Afhankelijk
van de hardheid van de grond kunt u eerst een gat graven. Als
u een gat graaft, let er dan op dat u na het plaatsen van het
apparaat de aarde rondom het apparaat stevig aandrukt. Hoe
beter u dit doet, des te beter en verder kunnen de trillingen

zich verspreiden. U kunt het apparaat preventief gebruiken
tegen een miereninvasie in uw tuin. Als u het apparaat pre-
ventief gebruikt, moet u meerdere apparaten ongeveer 20 tot
25 meter uit elkaar plaatsen aan de rand van uw terrein. Als u
al mieren in uw tuin heeft, kunt u het apparaat het beste tus-
sen het huis en het mierennest plaatsen. U wilt de insecten
uit de tuin verdrijven. Als de mieren van het apparaat wegt-
rekken, plaatst u het apparaat iets verder richting de grens
van uw tuin. Let erop dat ondergrondse barrières (fundamen-
ten of borders) de verspreiding van de trillingen kunnen hin-
deren. Schakel het apparaat in. Het zal twee tot vier weken
duren, maar u zult zien dat de mieren het gebied verlaten.
De precieze duur is afhankelijk van de bodemgesteldheid,
die sterke invloed heeft op het verspreiden van de trillingen.
Zanderige grondsoorten geleiden trillingen niet zo goed als
vaste soorten.
Opmerking: producten voor het afweren van dieren die func-
tioneren op zonne-energie zijn bijzonder geschikt voor zonni-
ge maanden. Gedurende de donkere maanden raden wij aan
om het apparaat uit te tuin te halen, niet alleen omdat de
accu dan niet voldoende kan opladen, maar ook omdat de
accu door de vorst kan worden beschadigd.

7. Algemene informatie
• De CE-conformiteit werd bewezen, de overeenkomstige
verklaringen zijn bij ons gedeponeerd en kunnen daar wor-
den geraadpleegd.
• Om veiligheids- en vergunningsredenen is het niet toege-
staan om dit apparaat om te bouwen en/of te veranderen
en/of te misbruiken.
• Er zij op gewezen dat bedien- of aansluitfouten of schade
die door niet-naleving van de gebruiksaanwijzing ontstaat,
buiten de invloedssfeer van de Gardigo liggen en voor daa-
ruit voortvloeiende schade geen enkele aansprakelijkheid
kan worden aanvaard. Dit geldt ook als wijzigingen of re-

Instructie voor
milieubescherming
Dit product mag aan het einde van zijn levensduur niet met nor-
maal huishoudelijk afval worden afgevoerd. Het moet worden
ingeleverd bij een inzamelpunt voor het recyclen van elektrische
en elektronische apparatuur. Het symbool op het product, de ge-
bruiksaanwijzing of de verpakking geeft dit aan. De materialen
zijn in overeenstemming met hun aanduiding recyclebaar. Met
het recyclen, het verwerken van materiaal of andere vormen van
verwerking van oude apparaten levert u een belangrijke bijdrage
aan onze milieubescherming. Raadpleeg de informatiebalie van
uw gemeente voor het inzamelpunt.
Aanwijzingen voor het
verwijderen van batterijen
Op batterijen zijn wettelijke regels van toepassing. Op grond
daarvan moeten deze waar ze worden verkocht, bij een verza-
melpunt voor afvalstoffen of een openbare verwijderaar van che-
misch afval worden ingeleverd. In geen geval mogen batterijen
bij het huisvuil of in de vuilniszak/container worden aangeboden.
Lever batterijen ontladen bij het verzamelpunt voor oude batteri-
jen in, en neem maatregelen tegen kortsluiting (bijvoorbeeld door
de polenw af te plakken).
