TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION WHEN PLACING THE UNIT IN A ROOM
Genano 120 is to be positioned to stand vertically on an even base. It can be
attached to a wall with an additional tip-over restraint to prevent from tipping over.
The unit has wheels on the bottom for portability. The wheels are in the back of
the base and moving the unit is done by tilting the device backwards. Carry the
unit over doorsteps and other obstacles.
Genano 120 takes in the contaminated air from the bottom, on both sides of the
unit. The purified air is let out through the upper part of the unit.
Before use
WARNING! Never use the unit in a place where for example flammable gases
and liquids or large amounts of dust in the air may form an explosive mixture
ignited by a spark.
Do not use the unit in spaces without normal ventilation. Make sure you have
sufficient ventilation!
NOTE! Only use Genano 120 in vertical position. Do not cover the upper part of
the unit during use.
Transport the unit only in vertical position, or in horisontal position with the flat
backside downwards (keys removed from the lock).
Do not use or store the unit outdoors.

Place the unit so that the furniture in the room influences the course of the
air flow as little as possible. The unit is to be placed so that it circulates the air
the same way the air normally circulates in the room. The best effect is usually
achieved when the unit is placed near the air income.
The best level of air purification is reached near the unit. Therefore, the best place
for the unit in a big room is near a workstation. The unit can also be placed near
sources of problematic particles to prevent the particles from spreading.
By adjusting the fan settings the production of purified air can be increased.
Genano experts will help you with questions regarding indoor air quality and
placement of the unit and fan settings. Follow the instructions given by your
Genano expert to ensure the best possible outcome.

when no one is in the room, nights and weekends.

3. Plug the main power cable that came with the unit first into the unit and then
into a grounded power socket (230V / 50Hz).

4. Turn on the power switch and close the back door.
NOTE! Lock the back door when operated near children or pets.
1. Open the back door and the service hatch.
2. Make sure the collector is in place inside the service hatch and the arrow in
the collector is pointing upwards. Close the service hatch.

NORMAL OPERATION AND CHANGING OF THE COLLECTOR
The unit is functioning and purifying air when the green light is illuminated in the
power switch.
The unit efficiently collects atmospheric particles on the collector inside the unit.
The collector needs to be changed in normal use every 6 months.
Install the collector in the service hatch so that the arrow marked in the
collector is pointing upwards. Push the collector all the way to the back of the
service hatch.

WARNING! Never use the unit without a collector!
Only use an approved Genano collector in the unit.
SERVICE HATCH OPERATION
If the service hatch is opened during normal operation, the unit stops purifying air.
The unit continues normal operation when the service hatch is closed.
When the service hatch is open, non-purified air cannot flow through the unit, as
the collector prevents the flow of air when the fan is not on.
ERROR/SERVICE
If the unit has stopped, there may be fault in the unit.
Open the back door and adjust the fan setting (levels 1-6) to make sure if the
device is running.
If the unit is still not operating, check that:
• the service hatch is closed properly
• the power cable is attached from both ends and
• that the power switch is in I-position.
You can also try to switch the unit off, wait for 20 seconds, and switch it back on.
If the fault is not removed, please contact an authorized Genano service.

1. GENERAL
Genano Ltd warranty conditions follow the NL 09 (articles 21-35) contract terms
with the following modifications and amendments.
2. WARRANTY PERIOD
The warranty period is 24 months from the date of delivery, unless otherwise
stated in the product-specific warranty, offer or contract.
3. CONTENTS OF WARRANTY
Repairing a defective part or device or if needed replacing the faulty part or unit
with a new one according to the consideration of the salesperson is included in
the warranty. Possible travel expenses and freight costs that are caused by the
warranty repair are not included in the warranty.
4. ADDITIONAL
Additional warranties, commitments or assurances potentially given by the distri-
butor or reseller bind only them. Genano Ltd is responsible only for the warranty
stated here.
5. LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY
This warranty is given with the assumption that the product is used in normal
office conditions or comparable conditions and that the operating instructions
are followed carefully. The warranty is valid in Finland under these conditions. The
responsibility of the guarantor is limited to these warranty conditions and does
not cover damages a sold product causes another object or a person. On the
basis of this warranty the client is not entitled to demand anything from anyone
other than the guarantor. Verbal clauses not included in these warranty condi-
tions do not bind the guarantor. For the warranty to be valid, the information and
serial numbers on the product or in the warranty cards are not to be changed or
damaged.
The warranty does not include damage that has been caused:
• during shipment
• by negligence of the user of the product or overload of the product
• by use that is against the operating instructions, lack of care or service,
the product falling or liquid damage
• by circumstances not dependent on the guarantor such as fluctuations
in power supply voltage, (fluctuations in voltage can be at maximum level
+10 %), thunderstorms, fires or accidents

• by service, repairs or alterations in structure performed by other than
authorized repair service
• or by placement of the unit against operating instructions or otherwise incor-
rectly.
The warranty does not include repairing damage that has no effect on the func-
tionality of the product.
Parts that have a risk of break up from handling or natural wear and tear like fuses,
plastic parts movable by hand or other parts that wear are not included in the
warranty.
6. ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN WHEN A FAULT IS DISCOVERED
When a fault appears during the warranty period the client is to contact the
authorized service provider or distributor without delay. The client is to tell what
product is in question (the designation of type and serial number on the warranty
card or the data plate), what the fault is as specifically as possible and in what kind
of circumstances the fault has appeared. A precondition for the warranty service is
also that the customer reliably shows that the warranty is valid (by presenting the
purchase invoice with the serial number of the product).

1. Only use the unit indoors.
2. Do not place or store the unit where it can get wet. Do not keep the unit
in the rain or pour water on it. Do not use a wet unit.
3. Never put the unit in direct, hot sunlight or store at a temperature above
140°F (60°C).
4. Do not place or store the unit in a place where it can fall over.
5. Do not use the unit in spaces without normal ventilation. Make sure you
have sufficient ventilation.
6. Do not use the unit if it is damaged in any way.
7. Do not use the unit if it has a damaged cord or plug. Return the unit to an
authorized Genano service location for examination and repair.
8. To prevent possible damage to the cord, do not wrap the cord around
the unit and keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
9. Only plug the unit to a grounded outlet.
10. Always attach the power cable first to the unit, then to the outlet (wall).
Be certain that the plug is inserted firmly into the unit. To disconnect, turn
off the device, then remove the plug from the outlet.
11. Unplug the unit before moving or transporting it to another location.
12. Do not cover the air intakes of the unit. Do not place anything directly on
top of the unit.
13. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
14. Lock the bottom basin when the unit is operated near children or pets.
15. The unit is only allowed to be serviced by an authorized repair service.
16. Do not take the gas absorption plate out of the unit.
17. WARNING! Due to its mode of operation the electronic unit may occa-
sionally emit sparks. Never use the unit in a place where flammable gases
or liquids or large amounts of dust may combine with air to form an
explosive mixture.
Always follow the operational instructions when using this Genano unit. Do
not use expansions or supplies not recommended or used by Genano Ltd.

ILMANPUHDISTIMEN SIJOITTELUSSA HUOMIOITAVAA
Genano 120 sijoitetaan pystyyn tasaiselle alustalle. Lisäksi se voidaan kiinnittää
seinään lisävarusteena saatavalla seinäkiinnikkeellä kaatumisen estämiseksi.
Alustaan asennetut pyörät helpottavat ilmanpuhdistimen siirtelyä. Pyörät ovat
laitteen takaosassa ja siirtely tapahtuu kallistamalla laitetta taaksepäin. Kynnysten ja
muiden esteiden yli laite tulee nostaa.
Genano 120 imee likaisen ilman sisään alhaalta molemmilta sivuilta. Puhdas ilma
puhalletaan ulos laitteen yläosasta.
Ennen käyttöä
HUOM. Genano 120 -ilmanpuhdistinta tulee käyttää vain pystyasennossa.
Laitteen yläosaa ei tulee peittää käytön aikana.
Kuljeta laitetta vain pystyasennossa tai vaaka-asennossa niin, että laitteen taka-
seinä on alaspäin. Poista tällöin avaimet lukosta kuljetuksen ajaksi.
Älä säilytä tai käytä laitetta ulkotiloissa.
VAROITUS! Laitetta ei saa sijoittaa tilaan, jossa esimerkiksi palavat kaasut ja
nesteet tai erittäin runsas pöly saattavat muodostaa ilman kanssa kipinästä räjäh-
tävän seoksen.
Laitetta ei ole tarkoitettu tiloihin, joissa ei ole normaalia ilmanvaihtoa. Huolehdi
riittävästä ilmanvaihdosta!

Sijoita ilmanpuhdistin niin, että huonekalut vaikuttavat mahdollisimman vähän
ilman kulkuun ja laite kierrättää ilmaa huoneen normaalin ilmankierron mukaisesti.
Paras vaikutus saadaan yleensä sijoittamalla laite tuloilman lähelle.
Ilmanpuhdistusvaikutus on suurin laitteen lähellä, joten isossa huoneessa sijoita
laite lähelle työpistettä. Laite voidaan sijoittaa myös ongelmallisten hiukkasläh-
teiden läheisyyteen estämään hiukkasten leviäminen.
Puhallinnopeutta kasvattamalla voidaan lisätä puhtaan ilman tuottoa.
Genanon asiantuntijat auttavat sinua mielellään sisäilmaan, laitteen sijoitteluun ja
puhaltimen nopeuden säätöön liittyvissä kysymyksissä. Noudata Genanon asian-
tuntijan antamia ohjeita parhaan mahdollisen lopputuloksen saavuttamiseksi.

3. Kytke laitteen mukana tullut maadoitettu verkkokaapeli ensin laitteeseen ja sitten
maadoitettuun verkkopistokkeeseen (230V / 50Hz).

VAROITUS! Kytke Genano 120 ainoastaan maadoitettuun pistorasiaan.
4. Käynnistä laite käyttökytkimestä ja sulje takaovi.
HUOM! Lukitse huoltoluukku lasten ja kotieläinten turvallisuuden vuoksi.
1. Avaa takaovi ja huoltoluukku.
2. Tarkista, että keräin on paikoillaan huoltoluukun sisällä ja keräimeen merkitty
nuoli osoittaa ylöspäin. Sulje huoltoluukku.

NORMAALI TOIMINTA JA KERÄIMEN VAIHTO
Kun Genano 120 toimii normaalisti, laitteen käyttökytkimessä palaa vihreä valo.
Laite kerää erittäin tehokkaasti huoneilmassa olevat hiukkaset sisäiseen keräimeen.
Keräin tulee vaihtaa normaalikäytössä n. 6 kk välein.
Asenna keräin paikoilleen huoltoluukun kautta niin, että nuoli osoittaa ylöspäin.
Työnnä keräin huoltoluukun perälle asti.
Laitteen toiminta
VIKATILANNE
Mikäli laite on äkillisesti pysähtynyt, voi kyseessä olla vikatilanne.
Avaa takaovi ja säädä puhaltimen tehoa varmistuaksesi siitä, onko laite käynnissä.
Mikäli laite ei käy, tarkista että:
• huoltoluukku on suljettu kunnolla
• verkkokaapeli on kytketty molemmista päistään ja
• laitteen käyttökytkin on I-asennossa.
Voit myös yrittää kytkeä laitteen pois päältä käyttökytkimestä, odottaa 20 sekuntia,
ja kytkeä sen takaisin päälle.
Jos vika ei poistu, ota yhteyttä valtuutettuun Genano-huoltoon.
HUOLTOLUUKUN TOIMINTA
Mikäli huoltoluukku avataan kesken toiminnan, laite keskeyttää ilmanpuhdistuksen.
Laite jatkaa normaalia ilmanpuhdistustoimintaansa vasta, kun luukku suljetaan.
Luukun ollessa avoinna puhdistamaton ilma ei pääse laitteen läpi, koska keräin
estää ilmavirran liikkumisen puhaltimen ollessa pysähdyksissä.
VAROITUS! Laitetta ei saa käyttää ilman keräintä!
Käytä ainoastaan hyväksyttyä Genano-keräintä.

1. YLEISTÄ
Genano Oy:n takuuehdot noudattavat NL 09 (kohdat 21-35) sopimusehtoja
seuraavin muutoksin ja lisäyksin.
2. TAKUUAIKA
Takuuaika on 24 kuukautta tavaran toimituspäivästä lukien, ellei tuotekohtaisessa
takuussa, tarjouksessa tai sopimuksessa toisin mainita.
3. TAKUUN SISÄLTÖ
Takuuseen sisältyy viallisen osan tai laitteen korjaus tai tarvittaessa vaihto uuteen
osaan tai laitteeseen myyjän harkinnan mukaisesti. Takuukorjauksesta mahdolli-
sesti aiheutuvat matka- ja rahtikulut eivät sisälly takuuseen.
4. MUUTA
Jälleenmyyjän tai välittäjän mahdollisesti antamasta lisätakuusta, sitoumuksesta
tai vakuuttelusta vastaa ainoastaan tämän myöntänyt taho. Genano Oy:n vastuu
rajoittuu yllämainittuun takuuseen.
5. TAKUUVASTUUN RAJOITUKSET
Tämä takuu on annettu edellyttäen, että tuotetta käytetään normaalissa toimisto-
käytössä tai niihin verrattavissa olosuhteissa ja käyttöohjeita noudatetaan huolel-
lisesti. Takuu on voimassa näiden ehtojen mukaisesti Suomessa. Takuunantajan
vastuu on rajoitettu näiden takuuehtojen mukaisesti ja takuu ei siten kata sellaisia
vahinkoja, jotka myyty tuote aiheuttaa toiselle esineelle tai henkilölle. Tämän
takuun perusteella asiakas ei ole oikeutettu esittämään vaatimuksia muille kuin
takuunantajalle. Näihin takuuehtoihin sisältymättömät suulliset lausekkeet eivät
sido takuunantajaa. Takuun voimassaolon edellytyksenä on, että laitteeseen tai
takuukirjoihin merkittyjä tietoja ja valmistusnumeroita ei ole muutettu tai vioitettu.
Takuuseen eivät sisälly viat, jotka ovat aiheutuneet:
• tuotteen kuljetuksesta
• tuotteen käyttäjän huolimattomuudesta tai tuotteen ylikuormituksesta
• käyttöohjeiden vastaisesta käytöstä, hoidon tai huollon laiminlyönnistä, tuot-
teen putoamisesta tai nestevahingosta
• takuunantajasta riippumattomista olosuhteista kuten jännitteenvaihteluista
(jännitevaihtelut saavat olla korkeintaan +10%), ukkosesta, tulipalosta tai vahin-
kotapauksista
• muiden kuin valtuutetun huollon suorittamista korjauksista, huollosta tai
rakennemuutoksista

• tai asennus- tai käyttöohjeiden vastaisesta tai muuten virheellisestä tuotteen
sijoituksesta käyttöpaikalle.
Takuuseen ei myöskään sisälly tuotteen toiminnan kannalta merkityksettömän vian
korjaaminen.
Osat, joilla on rikkoontumisvaara käsittelyn tai luonnollisen kulumisen vuoksi, kuten
sulakkeet, käsin liikuteltavat muoviosat ja muut kuluvat osat eivät kuulu takuuseen.
6. TOIMENPITEET VIAN ILMETESSÄ
Vian ilmetessä takuuaikana on asiakkaan tästä viipymättä ilmoitettava valtuute-
tulle huollolle tai jälleenmyyjälle. Tällöin on ilmoitettava mistä tuotteesta on kyse
(tyyppimerkintä takuukortista tai tyyppikilvestä), laitteen sarjanumero, vian laatu
mahdollisimman tarkasti sekä olosuhteet, joissa vika on syntynyt. Takuukorjauksen
edellytyksenä on myös, että asiakas osoittaa luotettavasti takuun olevan voimassa
(esittämällä ostokuitin, josta ilmenee tuotteen sarjanumero).

1. Käytä laitetta vain sisätiloissa.
2. Älä käytä tai säilytä laitetta paikassa, jossa se voi kastua. Älä altista laitetta
sateelle äläkä kaada vettä koneen päälle. Älä käytä märkää laitetta.
3. Älä aseta ilmanpuhdistinta suoraan auringonvaloon tai ympäristöön,
jonka lämpötila ylittää 60 °C.
4. Älä aseta tai varastoi laitetta paikkaan, jossa se voi kaatua.
5. Laitetta ei ole tarkoitettu tiloihin, joissa ei ole normaalia ilmanvaihtoa.
Huolehdi riittävästä ilmanvaihdosta.
6. Älä käytä vahingoittunutta laitetta.
7. Älä käytä laitetta, jos sen verkkojohto tai pistoke on vahingoittunut.
Palauta laite Genano Oy:n huoltopisteeseen tutkittavaksi ja korjattavaksi.
8. Estääksesi verkkojohdon vahingoittumisen, älä kiedo johtoa ilmanpuh-
distimen ympärille äläkä aseta verkkojohtoa kuumalle pinnalle.
9. Laitteen saa liittää ainoastaan maadoitettuun verkkoliitäntään.
10. Liitä pistoke aina ensin laitteeseen, sitten vasta pistorasiaan. Varmista,
että pistoke on asennettu kunnolla laitteeseen. Kun haluat irrottaa lait-
teen, sammuta ensin laite ja poista sitten pistoke pistorasiasta.
11. Irrota laite pistorasiasta ennen laitteen siirtämistä tai kuljettamista toiseen
paikkaan.
12. Älä peitä laitteen ilmanottoaukkoja. Älä aseta esineitä laitteen ylätason
päälle.
13. Älä pudota tai työnnä vierasta esinettä mihinkään laitteen aukkoon.
14. Lukitse huoltoluukku sijoittaessasi laitteen tilaan, jossa on lapsia tai
lemmikkieläimiä.
15. Laitetta saa huoltaa vain valtuutettu huolto.
16. Aktiivihiilikeräintä ei saa poistaa laitteesta.
17. Varoitus! Laitetta ei saa sijoittaa tilaan, jossa esimerkiksi palavat kaasut ja
nesteet tai erittäin runsas pöly saattavat muodostaa ilman kanssa kipi-
nästä räjähtävän seoksen.
Käytä tätä ilmapuhdistinta ainoastaan käyttöohjeiden mukaisesti. Älä käytä
lisäosia tai tarvikkeita, jotka eivät ole Genano Oy:n käyttämiä tai suosittelemia.
