Device won t switch on
Check that power plug is fir ly connected
Check ain fuses F1 & F2 on the PMU-card. Replace if broken
If those are ok then change the ain transfor er
Device won t switch off when opening the service hatch
Check the led panel which leds indicate
If “ok” led indicates, then proble is in icroswitch which is located behind the hatch.
o Solve: Check that icroswitch oves freely and replace if its broken
If “door” led indicates then proble is in relay of PMU-card.
oSolve: Replace PMU-card
Device indicates red service light after 30sec from starting
Check the easure ent voltages of each high voltage unit
If the voltage is between 1-1,5VDC
oSolve: You can try to adjust the voltage to 2.3VDC fro the tri er which is located
next to the easure ent connector
If the voltage is 0V or it does not stay stable
oSolve: Change the broken high voltage unit
If both voltages are 2,3V and proble still exists
oSolve: Check that easure ent cables are fir ly connected on the high voltage unit
and also fir ly connected on the connector J6 of PMU-card.
oSolve: Measure the voltages on the connector J6 fro the PMU-card. If voltage is 0VDC,
then proble is broken easure ent cable between high voltage unit and the PMU-
card.
oSolve: If the voltages are 2,3VDC on the connector J6 of the PMU-card then proble is
broken PMU-card.
Device doesn t use any washing liquid
Try to do anual washing by pressing the switch of anual wash for 5 seconds
If the device is not running the washing progra and washing light isn’t indicating
oSolve: Change the switch of anual wash and test again
If you can hear the sound of water pu p but there is no washing liquid in the collector bowl
oSolve: Change the washing hose inside the collector pipe and try again
If you cannot hear any sound and device indicates the washing led
oSolve: Check the F4 on the PMU-card and replace if broken
oSolve: If the fuse is fine then replace the washing pu p and try again
If the anual washing works fine but it is still not using any washing liquid
oSolve: Device isn’t doing auto atic washing progra because there is an e pty battery
inside the PLC unit. Change the PLC unit.

Fan is not rotating / rotating slowly / has strange sound
If the fan isn’t rotating at all
Check the fuses F1 & F2 on the PMU-card. Replace if broken and try again
Check that all the cables are fir ly connected
If the fan starts rotating when you change the speed fro the switch
oSolve: Speed selection switch is broken. Replace it and try again
oSolve: Step transfor er is broken. Replace it and try again
If any of these doesn’t work
oSolve: Change the fan
If the fan is rotating slowly
Phase shift capacitor of the fan is in bad condition
oSolve: Change the phase shift capacitor of the fan
If the fan has strange sound
If the sound is high frequency and you can hear it when you rotate the fan by hand
oSolve: Fan bearing is in bad condition. Change the fan
If the sound is low frequency and you cannot hear it when you rotate the fan by hand
oSolve: Phase shift capacitor of fan is in bad condition. Change the starting capacitor of
the fan.
Washing light indicates immediately when the device is switched on
Try to restart device ultiple ti es in a shirt period
If you can hear a buzzing sound then the collector pipe is too wet to start
oSolve: Wait a few inutes and try again until device starts
oSolve: If drying ti e is very long that indicates that the collector pipe is very dirty. Clean
the collector pipe and dry it well. Try to restart device after that
If you cannot hear any strange sound and the light indicates i ediately
oSolve: One of the high voltage units is broken. Try to re ove power cables fro high
voltage units one by one. If the device switches on after re oving one of those power
cables, then replace the broken high voltage unit.
Device starts washing program immediately when switched on
Check that the switch of the anual washing is not ja ed
If the switch is ja ed then replace the switch
If the switch is not ja ed then the pu p relay in PLC –unit is broken. Replace the PLC unit.
Genano 420 / 5250M
Device won t switch on
Check that the power plug is fir ly connected
Check ain fuses F1 & F2 on the PMU-card. Replace if broken
If those are ok then change the ain transfor er
The fan doesn t rotate
Check the fuses F1 & F2 on the PMU-card. Replace if broken and try again
Check that all the cables are fir ly connected

If the fan starts rotating when you change the speed fro the switch
oSolve: Speed selection switch is broken. Replace it and try again
If any of these don’t work
oSolve: Change the fan
Yellow “Add washing liquid” light indicates even when there is washing liquid in the tank
Check that the washing liquid level is higher than the capacitive sensor in the front of the tank
Fill the tank if fluid level is lower than the sensor
Check that the sensor is working right
If the yellow light isn’t on even when there is liquid in the tank
oSolve: Adjust the sensor by screwing the adjust ent screw counter-clockwise until
yellow light switches on. Re ove the sensor and ake sure that the yellow light isn’t
on when there is no liquid
oSolve: Replace the capacitive sensor if the yellow light is still off after adjust ent
Device doesn t switch off when opening the door or the “close door” –light indicates even
though the door is closed
If the device doesn’t switch off when opening the door
oSolve: Replace the agnet switch
If the “close door” –light indicates even though the door is closed
Open the door and touch the agnet switch with the agnet
oSolve: Adjust the agnet’s position in the door if the device switches on
oSolve: Switch the agnet switch if the light still exists.
Device indicates red service light after 30sec from starting
Check the easure ent voltages of each high voltage unit
If the voltage is between 1-1,5VDC
oSolve: You can try to adjust the voltage fro the tri er which is located next to the

If the voltage is 0V or it does not stay stable
oSolve: Change the broken high voltage unit
