Congratulations for purchasing a high quality
product!
Genano 350 is an air decontamination device
based on Genano Technology®. The unique
technology removes even the smallest
impurities from indoor air. These impurities
can consist of viruses, bacteria, mould spores
as well as traffic originated soot. The product
outlet provides you clean indoor air without
particles or gaseous contaminants.
Genano 350 is designed especially for the air
purification needs of small rooms and offices.
If you start the product for the first time, it is
recommended to use the highest fan speed
for a short period, then lower the speed for
continuous use. Lower fan speed drops the
noise to comfortable level. The room indoor
air is kept clean by continuous circulation
through Genano 350 product.
Genano 350 requires yearly maintenance
and service for removing the collected air
contaminants and replacing the air collector.

Product package contains the Genano 350 product with power
cord suitable for local AC grid supply socket.
Disposal of delivery package
Consumer package of this product is made of recyclable carton
and cellulose materials. Dismantle the package before disposal.
Follow the local advisory for recycling materials.

edge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be super-
vised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
! The product shall be used only in dry indoor environment.
!The product shall be used only with connections providing Protective Earth (PE).
!The product has serviceable parts inside. Only Service Personnel authorized by
the manufacturer shall open the chassis mechanics for maintenance and service.
! The product has maintainable parts inside. For maintenance operations obey
carefully the maintenance instructions given in this user manual.
!For ensuring product’s performance and safety, use only original materials and
components validated and provided by the manufacturer, Genano Oy, Finland.
! The product shall be used only as the User Manual instructs. Improper use of the
product may impair the protection provided by the product design.

Installation
Free standing floor installation
Position the product vertically on an even base in close vicinity of the room fresh
air ventilation. Ensure that the air inlets in the bottom sides or the clean air outlet
on top of the product are not covered by other objects. Connect the power
supply cord to a wall socket with Protective Earth (PE) connection.
For safety of use ensure in all installations that the AC power cable can be
detached easily.
Do not install the product in wet locations, outdoors, or sheltered outdoor areas
without temperature control.
Lifting and carrying
The product weights approximately 18 kg. Handle for carrying the product is on
the back cover.
! The product shall be used and stored indoors.
! Do not use the product in vicinity of concentrated flammable gases, liquids, or
large amounts of dust. The product’s internal operation may ignite the concen-
trated gases or dust.
! Do not use the product in rooms without fresh air ventilation.
!Connect the product with the AC power cord delivered with the product
package.
! Use only AC power cord rated 220-230 Vac and with ground (PE) connection.
Wire diameter >1.5 mm2.
! Do not position the product so that it is difficult to operate if disconnection is
necessary.

Control panel
The control panel is on the left side of the product. For control operations the
membrane buttons shall be pushed. In order to prevent damage press membrane
buttons with fingers.

1) Turn on the product by pressing sharply the “Power On” button.
2) Adjust the air volume by pressing repeatedly the fan speed arrows. If you start
the product for the first time in a room, it is recommended to use the highest
fan speed for a short period, then lower the speed for continuous use. Lower fan
speed drops the noise to comfortable level. The room indoor air is cleaned and
kept clean by continuous circulation through Genano 350 product.
Power off
Switch the product operation off by pressing the “Power off” button.
Panel lock
Enable panel lock
Press the “Fan speed up” button and keep it pressed for four (4) seconds (1-2-3-
4). On the fourth (4.) second press sharply the “Fan speed down” and release both
buttons simultaneously. The “Panel lock on” indication LED lights up.

Panel lock release
Repeat the above procedure as the panel lock is “on”. The “Panel lock on” indicati-
on LED shuts down.
Total panel lock
As the panel lock is “on”, press any button more than four (4) seconds. The pa-
nel lock stays on and does not release by panel lock release. The total panel lock
can be released by disconnecting the power cord from the 230 Vac / 50Hz wall
socket and waiting for at least two (2) minutes. As the power cord is re-connect-
ed, the Genano 350 is returned to power off status. The product operation can be
re-started by pressing the “Power on” button.
Maintenance
Only Genano company authorized personnel may perform the maintenance ope-
rations. For maintenance contact the local Genano representative.
!The product has high voltage parts inside.
- Only Service Personnel authorized by the manufacturer may perform
tasks that require opening the product.
– Do not let liquids enter product chassis!
– Disconnect the power supply before any maintenance operation!

Cleaning
De-energize the product by disconnecting AC power cord from 230 VAC supply.
Wipe the product clean with slightly wet cloth. To avoid any damage on surface of
the control keyboard do not use strong detergents.
Air collector replacement
Only Genano company authorized personnel may perform the maintenance ope-
rations. For maintenance contact the local Genano representative.
!In order to ensure continuous air cleaning process it is essential to perform
regular maintenance by replacing the collector package with a fresh one.
The air collector absorbs gaseous particles and Volatile Organic Compounds
(VOC). The air collector is in the upper chamber of the product. The air collector
typically wears out in one (1) year cycle and shall be replaced with a fresh one.
The product has high voltage parts inside.
– Only Service Personnel authorized by the manufacturer may perform
tasks instructed here
As a service operation the Genano 350 air decontamination unit requires cleaning
of the collector tube at least once a year. For cleaning the collector tube the pro-
duct shall be dismantled for the cleaning. Only Genano company authorized per-
sonnel may perform the maintenance operations. For maintenance contact the
local Genano representative.

Product storage
If not used the product shall be stored indoors at dry environment. It is recom-
mended to cover the fresh air outlet on top side of the product. This prevents
cumulating of dust that would be spread around as the device is taken into use
and started.
Troubleshooting
1. If the product does not start operation:
Check that product gets 230 Vac / 50 Hz supply voltage with Protective Earth
(PE) connection.
2. Red alarm led is lit on:
Any failure of the product operation is indicated by the red “Alarm” led on the
control panel. Request service from the local Genano representative.
3. The product does not remove odors:
The air collector has saturated and is no longer able to absorb gaseous
particles. Replace the air collector with a fresh one. See Maintenance opera-
tions above.

End-of-Life instructions for disposal
Genano 350 product shall be recycled by dismantling the product and sorting
the components into following categories (refer to figure 6 below):
1. Product chassis and electronics base plate shall be recycled as aluminium
(Al) parts.
2. Collector tube and the supporting band shall be recycled as ferrous steel
(Fe).
3. Electronic components and cables shall be recycled as electronic waste.
The base plate of the electronics is aluminium (Al).
4. Product fan unit (highlighted in figure 6) made of reinforced polypropyle-
ne (PP) with brominated flame retardants shall be arranged according to
instructions given by the local authorities. The fan unit can be disposed as
whole.
5. Membrane control panel (highlighted in figure 6) made of flame retardant
clear polycarbonate (PC) film and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plastic
shall be recycled according to instructions given by the local authorities.

Onnittelut laadukkaan tuotteen hankinnasta!
Genano 350 on Genano®-teknologiaa käyttävä
ilmanpuhdistin. Ainutlaatuinen teknologia
poistaa sisäilmasta pienimmätkin epäpuhtaudet.
Nämä epäpuhtaudet voivat koostua hiukkasista,
viruksista, bakteereista, homeitiöistä ja
liikenteestä tulevasta noesta. Tuotteen avulla
saat puhdasta sisäilmaa, jossa ei ole hiukkasia tai
kaasumaisia epäpuhtauksia.
Genano 350 on suunniteltu erityisesti pienten
huoneiden ja toimistojen ilman puhdistukseen.
Kun käynnistät tuotteen ensimmäistä kertaa,
suosittelemme käyttämään hetken suurinta
tuuletusnopeutta ja laskemaan sitten
nopeutta jatkuvaan käyttöön. Matalammalla
tuuletusnopeudella ääni pysyy mukavalla tasolla.
Huoneen sisäilma pysyy puhtaana, koska se
kiertää jatkuvasti Genano 350:n läpi.
Genano 350 -ilmanpuhdistin on huollettava
vuosittain, sillä sen keräämät epäpuhtaudet on
poistettava ja aktiivihiilisuodatin vaihdettava.

Tuotepakkaus sisältää Genano 350 -tuotteen ja virtajohdon, joka
soveltuu paikalliseen vaihtovirtapistorasiaan.

Asennus
Itsenäinen lattia-asennus
Sijoita tuote pystysuoraan tasaiselle alustalle lähelle huoneen tuloilmaventtiiliä.
Varmista, että muut esineet eivät peitä alhaalla sivulla olevia ilma-aukkoja tai
puhtaan ilman ulostuloa tuotteen päällä. Liitä virtajohto maadoitettuun seinäpis-
torasiaan.
Turvallisuussyistä varmista aina, että vaihtovirtajohto on helppo irrottaa.
Älä asenna tuotetta märkään paikkaan, ulos tai katettuihin ulkotiloihin, joiden
lämpötilaa ei voida säädellä.
Nostaminen ja kantaminen
Tuote painaa noin 18 kiloa. Tuotteen kantokahva on takakannessa.
! Tuotetta saa käyttää ja säilyttää vain sisätiloissa.
! Älä käytä tuotetta syttyvien kaasujen tai nesteiden lähellä tai tiloissa, joissa on
paljon pölyä. Tuotteen sisäinen toiminta voi sytyttää tiivistyneet kaasut tai pölyn
palamaan.
! Älä käytä tuotetta huoneissa, joissa ei ole ilmanvaihtoa.
!Liitä tuote tuotepakkauksessa toimitetulla vaihtovirtajohdolla
! Käytä vain 220–230 V:lle tarkoitettua maadoitettua vaihtovirtajohtoa. Johtimen
paksuus >1,5 mm2.
! Älä sijoita tuotetta siten, että sitä on vaikeaa käyttää, jos virta pitää katkaista.

Control panel
Ohjauspaneeli on tuotteen vasemmassa sivussa. Tuotetta ohjataan kalvonäppäimiä
painamalla. Paina kalvonäppäimiä sormilla, jotta ne eivät vaurioidu.

1) Käynnistä tuote painamalla nopeasti ”Virta päälle” -näppäintä.
2) Säädä ilman määrää painamalla tuulettimen nopeusnuolia toistuvasti. Kun käyn-
nistät tuotteen ensimmäistä kertaa huoneessa, suosittelemme käyttämään het-
ken suurinta tuuletusnopeutta ja laskemaan sitten nopeutta jatkuvaan käyttöön.
Matalammalla tuuletusnopeudella melu pysyy mukavalla tasolla. Huoneen sisäilma
puhdistuu ja pysyy puhtaana, kun se kiertää jatkuvasti Genano 350:n läpi.
Virta pois
Sammuta tuote painamalla ”Virta pois” -näppäintä.
Paneelin lukitus
Ota paneelin lukitus käyttöön
Paina ”Tuulettimen nopeutus” -näppäintä neljän (4) sekunnin ajan. Neljännen se-
kunnin kohdalla paina nopeasti ”Tuulettimen hidastus” -näppäintä ja vapauta mo-
lemmat näppäimet yhtä aikaa. Paneelin lukitus päällä -merkkivalo syttyy.

Paneelin lukituksen vapautus
Kun paneelin lukitus on päällä, toista edellisen kohdan toimenpiteet. Paneelin luki-
tus päällä -merkkivalo sammuu.
Paneelin täysi lukitus
Kun paneelin lukitus on päällä, paina mitä tahansa näppäintä neljän (4) sekunnin
ajan. Paneelin lukitus pysyy päällä eikä vapaudu paneelin lukituksen vapautuksel-
la. Paneelin täysi lukitus voidaan vapauttaa irrottamalla virtajohto 230 V:n / 50 Hz:n
seinäpistokkeesta ja odottamalla vähintään kahden (2) minuutin ajan. Kun virtajoh-
to liitetään uudelleen, Genano 350 palaa virrattomaan tilaan. Tuotteen käyttö voi-
daan aloittaa uudelleen Virta päälle -näppäimestä painamalla.
Huolto
Vain Genanon valtuuttamat henkilöt voivat huoltaa tuotetta. Kun tuote täytyy huol-
taa, ota yhteyttä Genanon paikalliseen edustajaan.
!Tuotteen sisällä on korkeajännitteisiä osia.
– Vain valmistajan valtuuttama huoltohenkilö saa suorittaa huollon, jossa
tuote pitää avata.
– Älä päästä nesteitä tuotteen rungon sisälle!
– Irrota tuote virtalähteestä aina ennen huoltoa!

Puhdistus
Irrota tuotteen virtajohto 230 V:n virtalähteestä. Pyyhi tuote puhtaaksi kostealla
kankaalla. Älä käytä voimakkaita puhdistusaineita, jotta ohjainnäppäimistön pinta ei
vaurioidu.
Keräimen vaihtaminen
Vain Genanon valtuuttamat henkilöt voivat huoltaa tuotetta. Kun tuote täytyy huol-
taa, ota yhteyttä Genanon paikalliseen edustajaan.
!Jotta ilmanpuhdistusprosessi toimisi varmasti jatkuvasti, on tärkeää huoltaa tuo-
tetta säännöllisesti ja vaihtaa keräinpakkaus uuteen.
Keräin imee itseensä kaasumaisia hiukkasia ja haihtuvia orgaanisia yhdisteitä (VOC).
Keräin on tuotteen ylemmässä kammiossa. Keräimen käyttöikä on yleensä yksi (1)
vuosi, jonka jälkeen se on vaihdettava uuteen.
!Tuotteen sisällä on korkeajännitteisiä osia.
–Vain valmistajan valtuuttama huoltohenkilö saa suorittaa tässä kuvattuja
huoltotoimenpiteitä.
Genano 350 -ilmanpuhdistimen keräinputki on puhdistettava huollon yhteydessä
kerran vuodessa. Tuote on purettava keräinputken puhdistamista varten. Vain
Genanon valtuuttamat henkilöt voivat huoltaa tuotetta. Kun tuote täytyy huoltaa,
ota yhteyttä Genanon paikalliseen edustajaan.

Tuotteen varastointi
Kun tuotetta ei käytetä, sitä täytyy säilyttää kuivissa sisätiloissa. Tuotteen sivussa
ylhäällä oleva puhtaan ilman ulostuloaukko kannattaa peittää. Näin tuotteeseen
ei kerry pölyä, joka leviää ilmaan, kun tuote seuraavan kerran otetaan käyttöön
ja käynnistetään.
Vianmääritys
1. Jos tuote ei käynnisty:
Tarkista, että tuote on kiinni 230 V:n / 50 Hz:n maadoitetussa verkkovirrassa
2. Punainen hälytysvalo palaa
Ohjauspaneelin punainen hälytysvalo ilmoittaa tuotteen käyttöhäiriöistä. Varaa
huolto Genanon paikalliselta edustajalta.
3. Tuote ei poista hajuja
Keräin on täysi eikä pysty enää imemään kaasumaisia hiukkasia. Vaihda keräin
uuteen. Katso huoltotoimia edeltä.
