Dear customer,
we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for purchasing our quality
product and for the trust you have placed in us.
Please read this instruction manual before you use the E-Line for the first
time.
Reading the complete instruction manual is essential for its proper and safe use and
will help you to operate the E-Line to your complete satisfaction.
Our E-Line is very robust and has a long lifespan when used properly.
Read all instructions very carefully and operate the appliance exclusively
in accordance with the intended use as described in this instruction manual.
This is the only way to protect your customers and yourself from dangers
resulting from improper use.
Always keep the instruction manual within easy reach near the E-Line.

1. Safety information
You must always observe basic safety precautions, including the following,
when operating electrical products, especially when children are nearby:

➢All information included in these pages serve for the protection of the
operator. If you ignore the safety information and safety instructions,
you will endanger your health and life as well as the health and life
of your clients.
MAKE SURE THAT THIS MANUAL IS AVAILABLE TO ANYONE
USING THE GHARIENI SPA TABLE E-LINE
AND MAKE SURE THAT IT HAS BEEN READ AND UNDERSTOOD
PRIOR TO USING THE SPA TABLE.
➢This instruction manual is an integral part of the product and must be carefully
kept in a safe place to consult it throughout the equipment service life.
Copies of this instruction manual are available upon request.
➢The Gharieni Group GmbH shall not be held responsible for any damages,
direct or indirect, caused to people, animals or objects resulting from negligence
or non-compliance with the instructions contained herein.
➢Before you dispose of a Spa Table or any old appliance, render it inoperative.
Unplug the Spa Table / appliance and cut off the entire power cord.
Dispose of the power cord and the plug immediately.
Keep this instruction manual at hand for when needed.
Strictly observe the instructions to avoid damage to persons and
property.

1.1 Signal words

1.2 Safety instructions
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Non-compliance with the orders of this instruction manual
endangers the operator’s and customer’s health and life and / or
can damage the spa table.
2. All electrical work to connect the E-Line to the mains must be
carried out by a qualified professional. Do not modify the energy
supply. The connection must be carried out in accordance with the
current local and legal regulations. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
3. The mains voltage and the mains frequency must correspond to
the values indicated on the rating plate.
4. Do not make any changes or manipulations to the E-Line and/or its
power supply (mains cable/mains plug).
In case of unauthorised changes or manipulations, any warranty of
the Gharieni Group GmbH is excluded.
5. Do not connect the E-Line to the mains if the Spa Table itself or
the power cable or the plug are visibly damaged. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
6. The power supply cable shall not be placed below the E-Line,
except it is expressly permitted by Gharieni Group GmbH.

7. The power cord must not be placed close to the actuators during
connection or repositioning as it can be damaged while operating
the actuators. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
8. Never try to repair the E-Line yourself. If the E-Line does not
operate properly, please contact our customer service or your
dealer. Original spare parts should be used only.

9. If the power cable and / or the plug are damaged, it must be
replaced by Gharieni Group GmbH or an authorized aftersales
service or a qualified professional only. Never try to repair or
replace the power cable and / or the plug yourself. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
10. Always unplug the E-Line if it is not used for a longer period.
11. Always disconnect the E-Line from the mains before cleaning and /
or maintenance. RIKS OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
12. Never pull the power supply cable to unplug the E-Line.
Always use the power plug itself to unplug the E-Line. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
13. Never touch the power plug, the power switch, or other electrical
components with wet or damp hands. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
14. Do not place or store the E-Line close to a source of liquid, such as
a bath, a shower, or a washbasin. There is danger that the E-Line
may meet splashed water. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
1. Use only a properly secured safety socket with the appropriate
mains voltage. See technical data and rating plate.
2. The electric components must not meet water. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
3. Check all cables regularly and contact our Customer Service
Department when any cable is in improper condition.

4. The E-Line must not stand on the power cord. Ensure that the cord
is not damaged when moving the E-Line. Do not step on the cord.
Do not stretch the cord.
5. Always ensure that the power cord is not bent or squeezed during
installation.
6. Do not use any extension cords, multiple sockets, or adapters.

7. Do not open the housings of the electric control panels!

8. Liquids must not get into the electric control panels!

9. Do not use water or any other liquids while carrying out any
application. Do not spill water or any other liquids over, on or into
the E-Line. Should you spill any water, immediately pull the mains
plug and dry the E-Line thoroughly.

10. Never immerse any parts of the E-Line in water.
When cleaning the E-Line, make sure that no water penetrates the
E-Line or its housing. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
11. The cables of the models incl. the heating system

are between the
upholstery and the underframe.The upholstery may only be
removed by persons authorized by Gharieni Group GmbH!
12. For E-Line with soft upholstery only: For long periods of use of
the heating system (optional equipment), always keep some free
space between the back and seat upholstery.

13. If your E-Line is equipped with the optionally available heating
system, do not place heavy blankets, clothing or similar on the
upholstery while the heating system is switched on. RISK OF

14. People with acute pain, venous disorders, low blood pressure,
inflammatory processes and other medical conditions that
make heat applications or this form of client positioning
questionable must always consult a doctor before use.
15. Never use the E-Line on people who are under the influence of
alcohol or drugs.
16. Operate or store the E-Line in a dry environment only.
17. Close supervision is necessary when the E-Line is used by, on, or
near children or invalids.
18. Use the E-Line only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments / accessories not recommended
by Gharieni Group GmbH.

19. Never operate the E-Line if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is
not working properly, if it has been damaged or if it has become
wet. Return the E-Line to an authorized aftersales service for
examination and repair.
20. In case of defects of the spa table, contact customer service
immediately. Use of the spa table must be discontinued until the
problem has been solved to avoid further damage to property and
persons.
21. Regularly remove any dust build-up from the mains plug, the safety
socket, and all electrical plug connections, e.g. with a commercially
available vacuum cleaner. RISK OF FIRE!
22. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
23. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
24. Do not use the E-Line outdoors.
25. Do not allow any unauthorized person to operate the E-Line!
26. Use the E-Line only on a level surface.
27. Do not place any objects or liquids on the E-Line. The Spa Table
as well as the material can be damaged thereby.

28. Any repairs and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified
professionals authorized by the Gharieni Group GmbH only!

29. Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
30. Never rest or stand on any part of the lying surface or of the
supporting structure of the E-Line. Do not exert strong physical
forces on these components; otherwise you can damage the
supporting structure permanently. RISK OF TIPPING!
RISK OF BREAKAGE! RISK OF INJURY!
31. Persons, animals or body parts of persons and animals must not
be positioned between the base and the upper structure. RISK OF
CRUSHING!
32. Ensure that no body parts or items are between the parts of the
E-Line while adjusting the lying position. RISK OF CRUSHING!
33. Do not use the supporting structure as a footrest. RISK OF
CRUSHING!
34. Always ensure that the E-Line firmly stands on its adjustable feet.
35. The E-Line must never be used to carry or transport persons or
heavy loads. RISK OF INJURY! RISK OF DAMAGE!
36. While unpacking, the packaging materials should be kept away
from children, pets, or persons with reduced mental capabilities.
RISK OF INJURY! CHOKING HAZARD!
37. Always keep children and pets away from the E-Line.
38. Children must not play with the E-Line or its single components.

39. The E-Line is not intended to be operated by persons with reduced
physical, sensory, and mental capabilities or lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazard involved.
NOTICE!
1. The special pallet the E-Line is delivered on has recesses.
Upon delivery, the adjustable feet of the E-Line stand in the
respective recesses to prevent the Spa Table from inadvertent
movement. Therefore, it is essential to lift the
E-Line vertically off the special pallet using all four carrying
aids. Non-compliance with this instruction can seriously damage
the adjustable feet of the E-Line. RISK OF DAMAGE!
2. For safety reasons, the E-Line only moves while operating a button
of the hand control or the respective optional foot control.
When you stop pressing, all moving-operation will stop
immediately.
3. Never rest, stand, or kneel on any part of the lying surface of the
E-Line. Do not exert strong physical forces on the lying surface.
Otherwise you can damage the upholstery permanently. RISK OF
DAMAGE!
4. Do not lean, stand, or sit on the armrests or headrest; otherwise
you can damage the armrests or headrest permanently!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
5. To prevent unauthorized use of the E-Line, always lock the drives
manually using the hand control or the optional foot control when
leaving the treatment room. No automatic locking is set as
standard. You can decide for yourself whether to change this.
Manual locking does not affect the heating cycle currently running
and has no effect on the operation of the heating system.
The heating cycle currently running is not affected by automatic
locking.
6. The maximum load capacity of the armrests is 25 kg.
7. The rating plate must not be removed or made illegible.
Non-compliance will expire the warranty!

2. Intended Use
Read the instructions very carefully and only operate the Spa Table in the
intended use as described to protect your customers and yourself from danger.
❖The Gharieni Spa Table E-Line is no medical device.
❖The E-Line is a versatile Spa Table. You can use it for e.g. cosmetic applications
or full body massages in dry rooms, etc.
Any other use is not permitted and will affect the warranty claims.
❖The E-Line is intended for use in closed rooms with defined ambient
conditions. See chapter 19. CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORT,STORAGE,
AND OPERATION.
No liability for personal injury or material damage will be accepted if these
instructions are not followed.
3. Scope of Delivery

If you have purchased additional optional accessories for your Spa Table, these
are also included in the scope of delivery.
4. Preliminary remarks
❖The Gharieni Spa Table E-Line is subject to the highest safety and quality
standards.
❖Before first use, make sure that all parts are present and that there is no visible
damage.
❖Make sure that the socket for the spa table is properly grounded and has the
correct mains voltage and mains frequency, see rating plate.

Before setting up, make sure that there is enough space for the
E-Line so that it does not bump into anything even when fully
extended.

5. Delivery and unpacking
5.1 Delivery
❖The E-Line is delivered and packed in a cardboard on a special pallet
(s. fig.). The E-Line is in complete horizontal position.
DELIVERY BY THE GHARIENI GROUP GMBH:
If the E-Line is delivered by the Gharieni Group GmbH, the driver will help with
the installation of the E-Line and will also dispose of the packaging material and
the special pallet.
DELIVERY BY AN EXTERNAL FORWARDER:
If the E-Line is delivered by an external forwarder, the E-Line is usually delivered
only (no help with the installation of the E-Line). In this case, you must dispose of
the packaging material and the special pallet on your own responsibility.

5.2 Unpacking
WARNING! While unpacking, the packaging materials should be kept
away from children and pets. RISK OF INJURY! CHOKING HAZARD!
❖The E-Line is delivered and packed in a cardboard on a special pallet
(s. fig. below).

1. Cut the packaging tapes (A) with scissors and remove them.
2. DO NOT open the upper cardboard (B) but lift it carefully and vertically as
a whole from the E-Line and off the special pallet (C).
For this purpose, you will need two persons; one person each on the short
sides (D) of the cardboard.
3. Dispose of the cardboard properly.
4. Now you can move the E-Line from the special pallet; strictly observe the
instructions given in chapter 6.2 TRANSPORT / CARRYING AIDS and chapter
6.2.1 USE OF THE CARRYING AIDS when doing so.
6. Assembly and transport
6.1 Assembly
The E-Line is usually delivered fully assembled, so no assembly work is necessary.
In exceptional cases, necessary assembly work will be carried out by the deliverer
on site.
The E-Line is easy to install and can be adapted to all human body measurements.
You can adjust the desired positions electrically in a very short period and then
focus entirely on your customer.
Before setting up, make sure that there is enough space for the E-Line so that it
does not bump into anything even when fully extended.
WARNING! The cables of the models incl. the heating system are
between the upholstery and the underframe.The upholstery may only
be removed by persons authorized by Gharieni Group GmbH.
6.2 Transport
Transport of the E-Line can be severely affected to some extent due to
unfavourable environmental conditions. Such unfavourable environmental
conditions are e.g. narrow doors, narrow corners behind doors, narrow
corridors, narrow staircases, spiral staircases etc. The weight of the
E-LINE is approx. 100 kg to 150 kg; the length is approx. 204 cm and the width
including the upholstery is 76 cm or 82 cm
2
; thus the manoeuvrability of the
E-LINE is limited.

CARRYING AIDS:
You need the carrying aids (s. fig. below) to lift the E-Line from the special
pallet. The proper use of the carrying aids is described below in chapter 6.2.1.
You need 4 persons to move or transport the E-Line using the carrying aids.
6.2.1 Use of the carrying aids
DANGER! The mains cable must not be under the feet of the E-Line
when it is placed on the ground after transport; otherwise the feet may
crush the mains cable and cause permanent damage. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
WARNING! RISK OF CRUSHING your toes / feet while lowering or
moving the E-Line.
NOTICE! The special pallet the E-Line is delivered on has recesses
(s. fig. below). Upon delivery, the adjustable feet of the E-Line stand in
the respective recesses to prevent the Spa Table from inadvertent
movement. Therefore, it is essential to lift the E-Line vertically off
the special pallet using all four carrying aids. Non-compliance with this
instruction can seriously damage the adjustable feet of the E-Line. RISK
OF DAMAGE!

1. To move the E-Line from the special pallet, you must raise the
E-Line first (only for the versions with storage space).
Plug in the E-Line to do this. Then press the corresponding
button of the hand control which is on one side on a
suspension unit (button T 1, s. fig. in chapter 11.1 HAND
CONTROL).
2. Screw the four carrying aids (s. fig. in chapter 6.2 TRANSPORT) into the opening
provided (A/ 2 carrying aids at the head end, 2 carrying aids at the foot end of
the bed) in the feet (B) at the base (C) (s. fig. below).

3. Then unplug the E-Line.
4. You need 4 persons to move the E-Line to its final site.
5. It is essential to lift the E-Line vertically off the special pallet using all four
carrying aids. Otherwise you damage the adjustable feet.
6. Carry or transport the E-Line using all four carrying aids only; otherwise you
can damage the E-Line irreparably.
7. Store the carrying aids in a safe place. If the E-Line must be carried or
transported at a later point of time (e.g. when moving), it is only possible when
using the four carrying aids.

8. If the floor is not level, you must ensure proper stability of the E-Line by
adjusting the four adjustable feet (D/s. fig. below). After you have adjusted the
feet, they must be secured by tightening the respective lock nut (E);
see fig. below.

NOTICE! Once you have found a suitable place with enough space for
the bed, remove the carrying aids and store them well for possible later
transport!
NOTICE! If the floor is not level, you must ensure proper stability of the
E-Line by adjusting the four adjustable feet.
6.2.2 Fold-out / retractable castors (optional equipment)
NOTICE! Fold-out / retractable castors are only available for the E-Line
with storage compartment.
DANGER! When retracting the castors, the power cord must not be
under the adjustable feet of the E-Line. Otherwise the adjustable feet
may squeeze the power cord and cause permanent damage. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
DANGER! Never roll the E-Line over the power cord; otherwise you
can permanently damage the power cord.
WARNING! Always ensure that the MO 1 stands on its solid
adjustable feet. If the E-Line stands on its adjustable castors only,
there is a RISK OF ROLLING AWAY!
WARNING! RISK OF CRUSHING your toes / feet while lowering or
moving the E-Line.

WARNING! Never fold out the castors while any person is on the
E-Line. RISK OF INJURY! RISK OF DAMAGE!
WARNING! Do not move the E-Line on its castors if there are
persons or loads on the E-Line. Otherwise you will damage the
construction / substructure of the E-Line as well as its castors.
RISK OF INJURY! RISK OF DAMAGE!
WARNING! The E-Line must never be used (neither with nor without
castors) to carry or transport persons or heavy loads. RISK OF INJURY!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
6.2.2.1 Folding out the castors
In the folded position, the castors are horizontal under the storage space (s. fig.
below).
To fold out the castors, move them down and to the side until they audibly click
into place.
WARNING! Never fold out the castors while any person is on the
E-Line. RISK OF INJURY! RISK OF DAMAGE!
6.2.2.2 Retracting the castors
To retract the castors, pull the pin on the castor construction downwards and move
the castor construction upwards again until the mechanism audibly clicks into
place.
