1. Safety information
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, including the following:

APPLIANCE FOR THE FIRST TIME.
All information included in those pages serve for the protection of the
operator. If you ignore the safety information and safety instructions, you will
endanger your health and life and as the health and life of your clients.
➢MAKE SURE THAT THIS MANUAL IS AVAILABLE TO ANYONE
USING THE GHARIENI SPA TABLE MO 1 AND MAKE SURE THAT IT
HAS BEEN READ AND UNDERSTOOD PRIOR TO USING THE
DEVICE.
➢This instruction manual is an integral part of the product and must be carefully
kept in a safe place to consult it throughout the equipment service life.
Copies of this instruction manual are available upon request.
➢The Gharieni Group GmbH shall not be held responsible for any damages,
direct or indirect, caused to people, animals or objects resulting from negligence
or non-compliance with the instructions contained herein.
➢Before you dispose of an old appliance, render it inoperative.
Unplug the appliance and cut off the entire power cord. Dispose of the power
cord and the plug immediately.
Store this manual in a safe place so you can use it whenever it is
needed. Strictly observe the instructions to avoid damage to persons
and property.

1.2 Signal words
DANGER! indicates a hazardous
situation which, if ignored, will result in
death or serious injury.
WARNING! indicates a hazardous
situation which, if ignored, could result
in death or serious injury.
CAUTION! indicates a hazardous
situation which, if not avoided, may
result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE! indicates possible damage to
the appliance.
1.3 Safety instructions
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Non-compliance of the orders of this instruction manual will
endanger the life and health of the operator and / or can result in
damages to the appliance.
2. All electrical work to connect the MO 1 to the mains must be carried
out by a qualified professional. Do not modify the energy supply.
The connection must be carried out in accordance with the current
local and legal regulations. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

3. The technical data of your energy supplier must meet the data on
the rating plate of the MO 1.
4. Do not modify or manipulate the MO 1 and / or its power supply
(power supply cable and / or power plug). Unauthorised
modifications or the manipulating of the MO 1 will void the liability
of the manufacturer.
5. Do not connect the MO 1 to the mains if the appliance itself or the
power cable or the plug are visibly damaged. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
6. The power supply cable shall not be placed below the MO 1, except
it is expressly permitted by the manufacturer. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
7. The power cord must not be placed close to the actuators during
connection or repositioning as it can be damaged while operating
the actuators. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
8. Never try to repair the MO 1 yourself. If the MO 1 does not operate
properly, please contact the manufacturer or the shop you
purchased the appliance at. Original spare parts should be used
only.
9. If the power cable and / or the plug are damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized aftersales service or
a qualified professional only. Never try to repair or replace the
power cable and / or the plug yourself. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
10.Always unplug the MO 1 if it is not used for a longer period.
11.Always disconnect the MO 1 from the mains before cleaning and /
or maintenance. RIKS OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
12.Never pull the power supply cable to unplug the appliance. Always
use the power plug itself to unplug the appliance. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
13.Never touch the power plug, the power switch, or other electrical
components with wet or damp hands. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
14.Do not place or store the MO 1 close to a bath, a shower, or a
washbasin. There is danger that the MO 1 may meet splashed
water. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:

1. Use a properly grounded socket with proper voltage (230 V AC)
only.
2. The electric components must not meet water. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
3. Check all cables regularly and contact our Customer Service
Department when any cable is in improper condition. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
4. The appliance must not stand on the power cord. Ensure that the
cord is not damaged when moving the appliance. Do not step on
the cord. Do not stretch the cord.
5. Always ensure that the power cord is not bent or squeezed during
installation.
6. Do not use any extension cords, multiple sockets, or adapters.

7. Do not open the housings of the electric control panels! RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
8. Liquids must not get into the electric control panels! RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
9. Do not use water or any other liquids while carrying out any
application. Do not spill water or any other liquids over, on or into
the MO 1. Should you spill any water, immediately pull the mains
plug and dry the MO 1 thoroughly. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
10.Never immerse any parts of the MO 1 in water. When cleaning the
MO 1, make sure that no water penetrates the MO 1 or its housing.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
11.For long periods of use, always keep some free space between the
back and seat upholstery. RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HEAT
ACCUMULATION!

12.Persons suffering from acute pain, venous disorders, low
blood pressure, inflammatory processes and other pathologies
which make heat-treatments or the positioning of the customer
inappropriate must consult the doctor before treatment.

13.Persons who are treated on the MO 1 must not be under the
influence of intoxicating substances (e.g. alcohol, drugs, or
medicine).
14.Operate or store the MO 1 in a dry environment only.
15.Close supervision is necessary when the MO 1 is used by, on, or
near children or invalids.
16.Use the MO 1 only for its intended use as described in this manual.
Do not use attachments / accessories not recommended by the
manufacturer.
17.Never operate the MO 1 if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not
working properly, if it has been damaged or if it has become wet.
Return the MO 1 to an authorized aftersales service for examination
and repair.
18.Remove possible dust accumulation at the power plug, at the
safety power socket and at all plug connectors regularly. RISK OF
FIRE!
19.Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
20.Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
21.Do not use the MO 1 outdoors.
22.Do not allow any unauthorized person to operate the MO 1!
23.Use the MO 1 only on a level surface.
24.Do not place any objects or liquids on the MO 1. The appliance as
well as the material can be damaged thereby. RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! RISK OF DAMAGE!
25.Any repairs and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified
professionals authorized by the Gharieni Group GmbH only!

26.Do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning.

27.Never rest or stand on any part of the lying surface or of the
supporting structure of the MO 1. Do not exert strong physical
forces on these components; otherwise you can damage the
supporting structure permanently. RISK OF TIPPING!

28.Persons, animals or body parts of persons and animals must not
be positioned between the base and the upper structure.
RISK OF CRUSHING!
29.Ensure that no parts of the body or items are between the parts of
the MO 1 while adjusting the lying position. RISK OF CRUSHING!
30.Do not use the supporting structure as a footrest.
RISK OF CRUSHING!
31.While unpacking, the packaging materials (polythene bags,
polystyrene pieces, etc.) should be kept away from children and
pets. RISK OF INJURY! CHOKING HAZARD!

32.Always keep children and pets away from the MO 1.
33.Children must not play with the MO 1 or its single components.
34.The MO 1 is not intended to be operated by persons with reduced
physical, sensory, and mental capabilities or lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed concerning the
use of the appliance and do understand the danger resulting
thereof.
NOTICE!
1. For safety reasons, the MO 1 moves only while pressing a key of
the manual control panel. When you stop pressing, all moving-
operation will stop immediately.
2. Never rest, stand, or kneel on any part of the lying surface of the
MO 1. Do not exert strong physical forces on the lying surface;
otherwise you can damage the upholstery permanently. RISK OF
DAMAGE!
3. The additional lock of the armrests must be released to adjust
the armrests using the respective levers. Otherwise the
construction and the mechanics of the armrests can be damaged
permanently. RISK OF DAMAGE!
4. The rating plate must not be removed or made illegible.
Non-compliance will expire the warranty!

2. General Information
Dear Customer,
we would like to thank you for purchasing this quality-product as well as for your
confidence.
Read the complete IM before you use the MO 1 for the first time. Reading the
complete IM is essential for its proper and confident use and will help you to
operate the appliance to your entire satisfaction.
Our MO 1 is very robust and has a long operating life if it is operated properly.
Read the instructions very carefully and operate the appliance in its intended
use as described only to protect you and your customers from danger.
Keep the IM handy and close to the MO 1.

WARNING! Failure to follow these instructions endangers the
operator’s health and life and / or can damage the appliance.

Ensure that there is sufficient free space for the MO 1 relevant to
its total length.

Activate the lock function of the MO 1 to protect it from unauthorized
use and / or when you do not operate the MO 1
(see chapter 10.2 KEY LOCK).
3. Preliminary remarks
❖The Gharieni Spa Table MO 1 is subject to the highest safety and quality
standards.
❖Before initial operation, please check that all components are present and that
they are not visiblydamaged.
❖The dedicated safety socket must be grounded properly and must meet the
proper voltage.
4. Intended use
❖Read the instructions very carefully and only operate the device in its intended
use as described to protect you and your customers from danger.
❖The MO 1 is a versatile Spa Table. You can use it for e.g. cosmetic applications
or full body massages in dry rooms. No other use is permitted: it will affect
your guarantee rights.
❖The Gharieni Spa Table MO 1 is not a medical device according to the medical
products law (German: MPG).
❖The MO 1 is intended for indoor use only.
The manufacturer and distributor are not responsible for any damage or
injury in the event of failure to comply with these instructions.

5. Rating plate
❖The rating plate is on the front below the headrest (s. fig. below).
❖Do not make the rating plate illegible! Do not remove the rating plate!
Non-compliance will expire the warranty!

6. QR Code

In case of service, you can scan the QR Code using the OCR
scan function of a suitable device (e.g. a smartphone). A form
will then open via the Internet browser of your device, which
already automatically contains the serial number of your MO 1.
Please describe your problem there and enter your data.
You can attach a file from your device memory or take a photo
with your device and attach it. To do this, tap on the "Select file"
button. A window with options will then open. The appearance of
this window may differ from the illustration, depending on your
device and operating system.
After you have confirmed that you have read our data protection
guidelines by marking the box at the end of the form, the form
with all the entries you have made is immediately sent to our
customer service department by clicking on "Send".
The QR Code is located close to the rating plate, on the head side of the bed
under the head section (see figure below).

7. Delivery of the MO 1
WARNING! While unpacking, the packaging materials (polythene
bags, polystyrene pieces, etc.) should be kept away from children and
pets. CHOKING HAZARD!
❖Before installation, ensure that there is sufficient free space for the MO 1 relevant
to its total length.
If delivered by a forwarding company , the MO 1 Spa Tables are delivered on a
special pallet in a cardboard. The MO 1 is in complete horizontal position and the
upholstery is installed.
Open the top of the packaging carefully. Do not use any sharp-edged items which
can damage the upholstery. Do not lift the MO 1 but remove the packaging
completely. The carrying support handles are installed.
FOR TRANSPORT PURPOSES,THE USE OF THE CARRYING AIDS IS MANDATORY
AS FOLLOWS:
1. To move the MO 1 from the pallet, you must raise it by 8 - 10 cm first. Plug it
in to do this. Then press the corresponding function button (first button-line of
the manual control panel which is on one side on a suspension unit / s. fig. A
and fig. B). Lifting the backrest (second button-line) will make the transport
easier.

2. Then unplug the MO 1.

3. Now lift the bottom part of the bag bellows on the head and leg section until
the drilling devices for the 4 special carrying aids are visible (s. fig. C). Fasten
the support handles in pairs on the front and back - the handles are already
installed on delivery. Now the MO 1 is ready for transport.
You need 4 persons to move the MO 1 to its final site. If the ground is not
even, you must adjust the stability with the adjustment screw.
After transportation, remove the carrying aids by unscrewing them.
NOTICE! When you have placed the MO 1 in a suitable position
providing sufficient free space, remove the carrying supports if necessary
and store them at a safe place for future use.
NOTICE! If the floor is not level, you must ensure proper stability using
the adjusting screw.
7.1 Installation
The MO 1 is ready to be operated in a few simple steps.
Depending on the type of use you can adjust the desired position electrically in a
very short period.
When you have placed the MO 1 on a suitable site providing sufficient free space,
remove the carrying supports (s. fig. C, above) if necessary and store them at a safe
place for future use. The upholstery has already been installed.
➢Before installation provide sufficient free space for the MO 1. The required
minimum free space is 300*180 cm.
WARNING! The cables of the models with Smart Thermo and/or
Vibro Wellness are between the upholstery and metal rack.
Removing of the upholstery must be carried out by authorized
professionals only!

8. Upholstery of the MO 1
STANDARD UPHOLSTERY:
❖The standard upholstery (s. fig. below) is anatomically shaped.
❖The surface is made of PU (polyurethane) and available in various colours of
our colour collection for PU.
❖You can also combine various colours with each other (max. two).
❖PU is more elastic and provides perfect and "soft" lying comfort.
Furthermore, it is easy to clean. It is oil proof, waterproof and washable up to
90 °C.

SOFT UPHOLSTERY:
❖Optionally for an additional charge, it is possible to equip the MO 1 with an
ergonomic soft upholstery (s. fig. below) made of PU.
❖The extra soft upholstery is anatomically shaped.
❖The surface is made of PU (polyurethane) and available in various colours of
our colour collection for PU upholstery.
❖You can also combine various colours with each other (max. two).
❖To give the therapist maximum legroom during a facial treatment, the armrests
and headrest of the MO 1 Soft are flatter than the rest of the upholstery.
❖PU is more elastic and provides perfect and "soft" lying comfort. Furthermore,
it is easy to clean. It is oil proof, waterproof and washable up to 90 °C.
