1. This product should not be used without proper instruction from a
healthcare professional.
2. This product has a maximum user weight limitation of 300 lb. -
EVENLY DISTRIBUTED.

5. Before use, ensure that crutch tips are not ripped, worn or missing, are
properly seated and straight on each crutch.
6. Always use caution when using this product on wet or slippery
surfaces. DO NOT use crutches on stairs or steep inclines.
7. Inspect crutches weekly for proper function and wear. If any
component is not in proper working order or appears worn, contact
your Lumex dealer for repair and/or appropriate replacement parts.
8. Before use, ensure that push buttons protrude fully through
adjustment holes.
9. Proper height adjustments must be made to both the leg extension
and the crutch handle. A dealer or therapist should aid in the proper
placement for maximum balance and support.
10.Wing nuts MUST be tight at all times.

INSTALLATION WARNINGS
• GF Health Products, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any damage or
injury caused by improper installation, assembly or use of this product.
• Inspect product weekly or on a set routine preventative maintenance
schedule for normal wear and tear. If any component is not in proper
working order or appears worn, contact your Lumex dealer for repair
and/or appropriate replacement parts.
• ALWAYS test to see that the product is properly secured in open
position BEFORE use and ensure all hardware is securely tightened.
• Before use, ensure that all assembled parts are secure and all hardware
is tightened.
• Care should be taken to ensure that all height adjustments are secure.
• ALWAYS observe the user weight limitation on the hangtag of this product.
GENERAL WARNING (CONT.)
MAINTENANCE
• Wipe crutches weekly with a damp cloth.
• Grip and underarm pad may be cleaned with mild soap or detergent.
DO NOT use organic solvents, such as acetone, which may damage grip.
• Never use organic solvents, abrasive cleaners, or scouring pads on any
part of the product.
• Check hardware and positioning weekly for tightness.
• Replace crutch tips as needed.
• To guarantee the best service from your crutches, always specify Lumex
replacement parts, available from your GF Health Products distributor.

ADJUSTING HANDLE POSITION
1. Remove the wing nut and bolt securing the handle to the crutch.
2. Align the handle with the desired set of adjustment holes.
3. Secure with wing nut and bolt.
4. Repeat for other crutch.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
1. Use double push buttons in center tube to adjust height in 1" increments.
Caution: Be sure that push buttons are fully protruding through the same
respective adjustment hole of each leg extension. This ensures that the
adjustable legs are securely locked into position and an even height
adjustment is obtained.

LIMITED WARRANTY
GF Health Products, Inc. (“GF”) warrants this product to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship to the original retail purchaser or original lessee only
(“Customer”) for:
Frame: three (3) years
Tips, Wheels/Casters, and Handgrips: three (3) months
The warranty does not cover: 1) other non-durable components; 2) defects,
damage or other conditions caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration,
accident, freight damage, tampering or failure to seek and obtain repair or
replacement in a timely manner; and 3) products not installed, used, or properly
cleaned and maintained in accordance with the applicable GF instructions.
Product provided to a lessee must be inspected prior to delivery and must be
maintained by the Dealer. The lessee must be properly trained on the operation
and safety of this product prior to use.
GF will, at its option, repair or replace the defective product. Warranty issues
must: 1) be reported to the Dealer from whom the Customer purchased the
product within the applicable warranty period and 2) upon examination by
GF or its authorized representative, prove to be a warranty item. GF is not
responsible for freight or labor charges associated with the warranted item.

will be provided.
TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS GF’S
ONLY WARRANTY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED. EXCEPT IN CASES WHERE IMPLIED WARRANTIES MAY NOT
BE VALIDLY WAIVED, GF MAKES NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. GF’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR THIS PRODUCT
IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

AJUSTAMIENTO DE ALTURA
