1.0 CONTENUTO DELL’IMBALLAGGIO
Controllate attentamente il contenuto del cartone e, in caso di danni al prodotto, contattate il Vs.
trasportatore. Nell’imballaggio del presente proiettore sono contenuti i seguenti prodotti:
n° 1 Foglio di Istruzioni;
n° 1 proiettore GOBOCLIP;
n°1 supporto d’installazione + viti di fissaggio.
2.0 SICUREZZA
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione sul proiettore, sconnettere fisicamente la linea di alimenta-
zione staccando la spina (ad esempio durante la sostituzione della lampada).
Questo proiettore è stato progettato per utilizzi in ambienti interni ed esterni. La temperatura
ambiente massima non deve superare i 45°C.
Attenzione: la temperatura della superficie esterna del proiettore può raggiungere 90°C.
Attenzione: lampada molto calda, prima della sostituzione attendete almeno 20 minuti.
Attenzione: nel caso in cui il proiettore venga appeso, si raccomanda l’utilizzo della catena di sicu-
rezza da fissare al proiettore ed alla struttura di sospensione dello stesso per evitare la caduta acci-
dentale del proiettore, nel caso poco probabile che il punto di fissaggio primario dovesse cedere.
3.0 INSTALLAZIONE DEL PROIETTORE
3.1 Montaggio della lampada
1) Aprite il coperchio porta-lampada svitando le 4 viti situate nella parte posteriore del
proiettore (fig.1);
2) Dopo averla sgrassata con l’apposita salvietta detergente, inserite la lampada nel portalampada
con le dovute precauzioni:
- non toccate la lampada con le dita e con stracci unti o comunque sporchi;
- non scuotete la lampada e non fatela urtare contro la lamiera del proiettore o altri oggetti;
3) Fissate saldamente la lampada al portalampada;
4) Richiudete il coperchio porta-lampada.

3.2 Regolazione lampada
Dopo il montaggio della lampada, può capitare che accendendo il proiettore il fascio luminoso non
sia ben uniforme. E’ possibile la messa a punto agendo sulle 3 viti M3 poste sul coperchio cambio-
lampada (vedi fig.3 e 4). Continuate la regolazione finche non ottenete una proiezione del fascio
uniforme.
3.3 Posizionamento del proiettore
GOBOCLIP è dotato di una base d’appoggio che permette una stabile collocazione a terra (figura
6). Per l’installazione a soffitto, è possibile utilizzare la forcella del proiettore come mostrato in
figura 7.
Mantenere una distanza dalla parete o dalle pareti di almeno 50cm per favorire la libera circolazio-
ne dell’aria intorno al proiettore e contenerne il riscaldamento.

Per il fissaggio del proiettore al pavimento, oppure al soffitto, è possibile utilizzare i fori (Ø8,5 e
10,5mm) posti sulla staffe di fissaggio del proiettore. Gli interassi delle forature sono rappresentati
nelle fig.8 e 9.
3.4 Collegamento elettrico
- Utilizzando un cavo di alimentazione 3x1,5mm2 (sezione minima), cablate il morsetto posto
all’interno della scatola in plastica come mostrato in fig.11;
Al fine di assicurare l’impermeabilità al prodotto, si raccomanda di inserire il cavo nell’apposito
pressacavo e stringere il dado di fissaggio;
- Collegate alla rete facendo attenzione alla tensione di alimentazione (230V - 50/60Hz);
- La linea di alimentazione del proiettore deve essere protetta mediante corretta messa a terra e
interruttore magnetotermico differenziale avente le seguenti caratteristiche elettriche:
- corrente nominale (In) 10A - valore d’intervento (Id) 0,03A;
- Questo proiettore è dotato di fusibile per la protezione del proiettore da 3.15A (fig.11);
- Questo proiettore dispone di rifasatori di corrente.

4.0 USO DEL PROIETTORE
4.1 Installazione del gobo
Per accedere al vano GOBO - LENTI - DIAFRAMMA aprite lo sportello anteriore del proiettore.
Per eseguire questa operazione attenetevi alle istruzioni seguenti:
- Svitate le 2 viti mostrate in figura 12 (A);
- Aprite lo sportello, nel caso in cui il proiettore è installato a soffitto si consiglia di servirsi dell’a-
sta di sostegno - verniciata beige - per mantenerlo sollevato (fig.13B). L’asta di sostegno è visibile
anche ripiegata in figura 14(B).
Per avere accesso alla sede del gobo ruotate le lenti e il diaframma attorno all’asta svitando i
pomolini di fissaggio (figure 14 e 15).
Il gobo, che ha sede all’interno dell’ingranaggio di rotazione,è fissato da un anello elastico. Per
l’installazione rimuovete l’anello elastico servendovi di un cacciavite e posizionate il gobo nell’ap-
posita sede (fig.16). Il gobo - che può essere metallico o dicroico - deve avere un diametro di

Ø53,3 mm. La dimensione massima dell’immagine è di Ø40 mm. Per dare colore all’immagine
proiettata assieme ad un gobo metallico può essere inserito anche un filtro dicroico Ø53,3 mm. .
Riposizionate l’anello elastico nella sua sede originale.
4.2 Regolazione del gruppo ottico
Solamente dopo avere inserito l’immagine procedete con la regolazione del gruppo ottico per per-
sonalizzare lo zoom e la messa a fuoco manuale.
Accendete il proiettore e orientate il fascio di luce verso la superficie da inquadrare con l’immagi-
ne. Durante questo intervento evitate di guardare direttamente il fascio di proiezione della lampada.
Sono disponibili tre lenti e un diaframma per regolare l’angolo di apertura e la dimensione dell’im-
magine proiettata. Considerate che:
- tenendo disinserita la prima lente (cioè quella più vicina al gobo) ottenete un angolo d’apertura
compreso tra 19° e 24° a seconda della posizione delle altre lenti sull’asta (fig.17);
- tenendo inserite tutte le lenti ottenete un angolo d’apertura compreso tra 24° e 30° a seconda
della loro posizione sull’asta (fig.18);

- il diaframma, che può scorrere sull’asta, permette di regolare il contorno immagine rendendolo
più definito.
Dopo avere eseguito tutte le regolazioni necessarie per ottenere la proiezione dell’immagine nella
dimensione desiderata, accertatevi che le lenti e il diaframma siano saldamente fissati nella loro
posizione di lavoro. La posizione di lavoro delle lenti e del diaframma è contro l’asta che funziona
da fermo come mostrato in figura 19.
4.3 Velocità di rotazione dell’immagine
Ruotando il potenziometro, e’ possibile regolare la velocità di rotazione dell’immagine.
Con il potenziometro in posizione 0 l’immagine è ferma, mentre in posizione 3 l’immagine ruota
alla massima velocità (figura 20).
E’ disponibile solamente una direzione di rotazione.
DOPO AVER ESEGUITO TUTTE LE REGOLAZIONI ED ESSERVI ACCERTATI CHE
LO SPORTELLO ANTERIORE SIA BEN CHIUSO, È POSSIBILE UTILIZZARE IL
PROIETTORE.

5.0 MANUTENZIONE
Il proiettore non richiede una manutenzione particolare, infatti essendo certificato IP55 esso è total-
mente isolato dagli agenti esterni. Per assicurare la massima funzionalità e la massima resa ottica si
raccomanda comunque di attenersi alle seguenti istruzioni:
- Pulite le lenti, ed eventualmente il dicroico dell’immagine, poichè persino un sottilissimo strato di
polvere può ridurre in modo sostanziale la resa luminosa ed alterare la compattezza del fascio;
- sostituite le lenti ed eventualmente il dicroico dell’immagine se hanno subito danni visibili quali
tagli, crepe e profondi graffi;
- sostituite la lampada se ha subito danni visibili o se si è deformata a causa del calore;
- controllate i collegamenti elettrici ed in particolare la messa a terra;
- sostituite tutte le parti eventualmente danneggiate.

7.0 PARTI DI RICAMBIO
Tutti i componenti del proiettore GOBOCLIP sono disponibili come parti di ricambio su richiesta.
Le viste esplose, lo schema elettrico, il diagramma elettronico e la brochure promozionale del pro-
dotto sono disponibili su richiesta.
La responsabilità di Griven S.r.l. cessa all’atto della consegna del materiale al vettore: reclami per
eventuali danni dovuti al trasporto dovranno essere indirizzati direttamente al corriere.
Si accettano reclami entro e non oltre i 7 giorni dal ricevimento merce.
Eventuali resi di materiale dovranno essere autorizzati da Griven S.r.l. ed inviati completi della
documentazione fiscale necessaria.
La garanzia non copre i materiali di consumo.
Tutti i proiettori GRIVEN sono costruiti ed assemblati in conformità alle normative CE.

1.0 PACKING
Check the content of the box carefully and in case of damage contact your forwarder immediately.
The following items are included in the box:
n° 1 instructions leaflet;
n° 1 GOBOCLIP unit;
n° 1 mounting plate and fixing screws.
2.0 SAFETY
Disconnect the lantern from mains supply before replacing the lamp or servicing the unit.
- This projector has been designed for outdoor and indoor use. For safety operation, maximum
ambient temperature must not exceed 45°C;
- Caution: the temperature of the housing of the projector can reach 90°C;
- Caution: hot lamp; make sure the lamp is cold before attempting to remove it (wait for about 20
minutes);
- Caution: it is strongly recommended that a safety-chain or wire is attached to this projector and
secured to the main mounting framework to arrest the fall of the unit in the unlikely event that the
primary mounting arrangement should fail.
3.0 INSTALLATION
3.1 Fitting the lamp
1) Open the rear lid by removing the 4 screws as per picture 1;
2) Clean the lamp with a cleaning towel and fit it carefully in the lamp holder;
- avoid touching the lamp with fingers or dirty towels;
- do not shake the lamp or hit any hard object inside the unit;
3) Fix the lamp to the lamp holder;
4) Put the rear lid back and fix it in its original position.

3.2 Lamp adjustment
Adjust the three screws depicted in picture 3 should not the light output be completely even.
The rotation of these screws will allow the best lamp adjustment for the perfect focusing of the
image projection (see pictures 3 and 4).
3.3 Mounting position
GOBOCLIP is fitted with a support base which allows a steady position on the floor (see picture
6). You can also hang the unit to the ceiling by the bracket provided (see picture 7). Keep the unit
at a minimum distance of 0,5m from obstacles and flammable objects to guarantee an easy air cir-
culation around the unit.

Ø8.5 and Ø10.5mm holes are provided in the support brackets to fix the lantern to the ceiling or to
the floor (see pict.8 and 9 for wheelbases dimensions).
3.4 Electrical connection
- Connect a 3x1.5 mm2supply cable to the connector located in the plastic box as shown in picture
11; it is strictly recommended to slide the supply cable through the bush and tighten the stud nut to
guarantee the impermeability of the unit;
- Connect the lantern to a mains supply of 230V - 50/60 Hz;
- The mains cable must be connected to earth; the safety thermoswitch and the earth leakage cir-
cuit breakers must have the following characteristics:
rated for (In) 16A - sensitivity (Id) 0,03 A;
- GOLBCLIP is provided with power factor correction system;
- This unit is fitted with a 3.15A fuse.

4.0 USING THE PROJECTOR
4.1 Installing the gobo pattern
Open the front panel of the unit to access the gobo pattern and optic group housing.
Follow the instructions below to install the gobo pattern:
- Remove the two screws (A) shown in picture 12;
- Open the panel, lift it and use the metal support (B) to keep it up (see picture 13). The metal
support (B) is also depicted in its retracted position in picture 14.
To access the gobo slot holder, rotate the lenses and the diaphragm by loosening the relevant fixing
knobs (see pictures 14 and 15).
The gobo slot is provided with a flexible metal ring to hold it in position. Remove the ring with a
screw driver and set the gobo in its housing (see picture 16).
Either glass or metal gobos can be used but they must comply with the dimensions of a standard
“D” size gobo pattern which is Ø53,3 mm. Maximum image size is Ø40 mm. A dichroic filter

Ø53,3 mm can be put in front of the metal gobo if you want to provide your image with colour.
Lay the metal ring back into its original position once the gobo and the filter have been set in the
slot.
4.2 Optic group adjustment
The optic group of this unit consists of two separate lenses and one objective with four lenses.
Adjust the focus and customise the zoom only when a gobo pattern is in its holder.
Power up the unit and direct the light output to the surface where you want to project the image.
Do not look towards the lamp directly during this process so to avoid any possible damage to your
eyesight. Three lenses and one diaphragm are available to adjust the angle aperture and the dimen-
sion of the image you want to project.
Do not use the first lens (the closest one to the gobo) and you will obtain an angle aperture going
from 19 to 24 degrees depending on the position of the other lenses on the cylindrical pivot (see
picture 17).
Using all lenses plus the diaphragm you will obtain an angle aperture going from 24 to 30 degrees
depending on their position on the cylindrical pivot (see picture 18).

Use the diaphragm that runs on the cylindrcal pivot to adjust the image definition and outline.
When the required angle aperture is adjusted and the image perfectly focused, tighten the fixing
knobs making sure the objective and the lenses are in their operational position which corresponds
to them leaning against the support pivot shown in picture 19.
See labels inside the front panel for further reference.
4.3 Image rotation speed
Three rotation speed plus fixed projection are available.
Position 0 is for fixed projection while position 3 is maximum speed .
Rotating image speeds setting is allowed by the adjustment of the potentiometer shown in pict. 20.
Only one rotation direction is available.
MAKE SURE THE FRONT PANEL IS PERFECTLY CLOSED BEFORE USING THE
PROJECTOR WHEN THE OPTIC ADJUSTMENT AND THE ROTATING SPEED REGU-
LATION ARE OVER.

5.0 MAINTENANCE
This unit is certified to an IP55 protection against all kinds of weather conditions and therefore it
does not require a regular maintenance.
To obtain the maximum light output and a durable life for the unit please follow instructions
below:
- clean lenses, objective and additional dichroic filter as even a thin layer of dust can reduce the
light output and scatter the beam;
- replace lenses and additional dichroic filter if they are visibly damaged;
- replace the lamp in case it is damaged or deformed;
- carefully check the electrical connections, particularly the earth connection;
- replace lenses, or any other component should they be visibly damaged.

7.0 SPARE PARTS
All components for GOBOCLIP units are available on request.
The exploded diagram, the eletric wiring scheme, the electronic layout and the promotional bro-
chure are available on request.
Griven S.r.l. shall be under no liability for any loss or demage in transit. Claims must be adressed
directly to the forwarder.
Griven S.r.l. will accept claims for broken or missing goods only within seven days of receipt of
the goods.
Returns of equipment will not be accepted without prior authorization granted by Griven S.r.l. and
if not duly accompained by relevant shipping documents.
The guarantee excludes all consumables.
GRIVEN products are built and assembled in compliance with CE standards and regulations.
