Features
• Solid 1
1⁄2" thick oak top with double rows of
bench dog holes for each vise.
• Two storage drawers (with ball bearing slides)
that are 10
1⁄4" wide x 12 3⁄4" long x 2 3⁄4" deep.
• Sturdy adjustable steel legs with leveling foot
pads.
• Two oak-faced vises with removable top plate
and 4" leadscrew travel, 13" wide x 2" thick.
• Four bench dogs and a bench stop bar.
• All wood surfaces finished with durable lac-
quer.
• Overall dimensions: 62" wide x 30" in depth x
32"–39" tall.
• Weight: 155 lbs.
Inventory
Use the parts breakdown and listing on Page 4 to
perform an inventory of the shipment.
If any nonproprietary parts are missing (e.g. a
bolt or a washer), we will gladly replace them; or
for the sake of expediency, replacements can be
obtained at your local hardware store.

To assemble your workbench:
1. Fit each drawer bottom into the front and
rear panels, then install the side panels with
wood glue and (16) wood dowels, as shown
in Figure 2. Secure the assemblies with (16)
#8 x 1
1⁄4" wood screws.
NOTICE
If you cannot find an item on the inventory
parts list, check the mounting location on
the workbench or examine the packaging
materials carefully. Some items are pre-
installed for shipping purposes.

2. With assistance from another person, place
the table top upside down on a flat, protected
surface.
3. Slide the lower legs into the upper legs, then
secure them together with (8) 5⁄16"-18 x 3⁄4"
hex bolts and 5⁄16" flat washers, as shown in
Figure 3.
Note: Make sure that the completed leg
assemblies are all the same length, which will
dictate the height of the finished workbench
(from 32"–39").
Note: In the next step, take care to properly
orient the leadscrew holes in the leg assem-
blies with the holes in the table top to accept
the vise leadscrews in a later step (see
Figure 5).
5. Secure the leg assemblies to the workbench
top with (16) 5⁄16" x 1" lag screws, as illus-
trated in Figure 5.
Note: In the next step, orient the leadscrew
holes in the legs so that one hole faces to the
side, and the other faces to the front. This is
necessary to properly install the vise assem-
blies in a later step.
4. Attach the leg supports to the leg assemblies
with (8) 5⁄16"-18 x 3⁄4" hex bolts and 5⁄16" flat
washers, as shown in Figure 4.

12. Slide each vise assembly into the vise faces,
as illustrated in Figure 8, then secure them
with (8) #8 x 1" wood screws.
13. Install the drawers, then insert the bench stop
bar and bench dogs into the workbench top to
finish the assembly.

11. Remove the caps from the wooden handles,
insert the handles through the ends of the
vise assemblies, then glue the caps back on
the handles, as illustrated in Figure 8.
Note: In the next step, make sure that the
drawer slides on the support assemblies are
facing the correct way to accept the draw-
ers.
6. Use wood glue and (6) wood dowels to attach
the drawer support assemblies to the table
top, as illustrated in Figure 6.

7. Further secure the drawer support assem-
blies to the table top with the (9) #10 x 1
1⁄2"
wood screws (see Figure 6).
8. Secure the leadscrew plates (see Figure 6)
to the underside of the table top with (12) #8
x 1" wood screws.
9. With assistance, flip the workbench right side
up, move it to its final location, then adjust the
foot pads to make the table level and stable.
10. Attach the bottom shelf to the legs with (4)
5⁄16"-18 x 3⁄4" hex bolts and 5⁄16" flat washers,
as shown in Figure 7.
Note: You can install the shelf with the lip
facing up or down.
