SAFETY ______________________________
Please note the following instructions
when using the appliance.
7 Keep the instruction manual
for future use. Should a third
party be given the unit, please
ensure the instruction manual is
included.
7 The appliance is designed for
domestic use only.
7 Never use the appliance in the
bath, shower or over a wash
basin filled with water; nor
should it be operated with wet
hands.
7 Do not immerse the appliance
in water or let it come into
contact with water, even during
cleaning.
7 If the appliance is used in the
bathroom, it is essential that you
unplug it after use, as any water
close to the appliance can
still pose a hazard, even if the
appliance is switched off.
7 If not already in use, installing
a residual current-operated
protective device (RCD) is
recommended for additional
protection with a rated residual
operating current not exceeding
30 mA in the electrical circuit
of your bathroom. Ask your
plumber for advice.
7 Never cover the appliance, for
example with a towel.
7 Never place the appliance on
soft cushions or blankets during
operation.
7 The appliance can become
very hot. Do not keep your hair
around the conical heating
element for more than a few
seconds.
7 Do not allow the conical barrel
to come into contact with your
face, neck or head. Do not
touch it with your bare hands.
7 Unplug the appliance after use.
Do not disconnect the plug by
pulling on the cord. Place the
appliance on a heat resistant
surface and allow it to cool
down.
7 Never use the appliance if it
or the power cord is visibly
damaged.

7 If the power cord is damaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, a service centre
or a similarly qualified person to
avoid any danger of electrical
shock.
7 Make sure that there is no
danger that the power cord
could be accidentally pulled or
that someone could trip over it
when the appliance is in use.
7 Keep the appliance out of the
reach of children.
7 The appliance should not be
used by the following people,
including children: those with
limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities and also
those with a lack of experience
and knowledge. This does not
apply to the latter if they were
instructed in the use of the
appliance or if they use it under
the supervision of a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should always be
supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
7 Do not leave the appliance
unattended when switched on.

any circumstance. No warranty
claims are accepted for damage
caused by improper handling.

type plate (on the handle of the
appliance) corresponds to your
local mains supply. The only way
to disconnect the appliance from
the mains is to unplug it.

Features
7 Care and protection with its gentle
ceramic coating with tourmaline
and nano silver – for hydrated hair
with more shine, bounce and care.
– Ceramic ensures constantly high
temperature and even heat dis-
tribution. The heat is distri-buted
evenly to ensure hair is fully
protected.
– Tourmaline generates negative
ions in a natural way, prevents
frizz, static charging and pre-
serves the natural moisture of the
hair.
– Nano silver inhibits bacteria
build-up, constantly protecting
and maintaining the surface of
the plates – for healthy hair and
hygienic styling plates.
7 Conical heating element 13 –
25 mm: Curls get smaller from
the roots to the ends, for natural-
looking curls or waves.
7 Adjustable temperature regulation
from 120° C to 210° C.

OPERATION __________________________
Styling curls
Your appliance conjures up gentle
waves or defined curls that are spec-
tacularly springy and stay in a per-
fect, long-lasting and flexible shape.
Caution
7 The conical heating element be-
comes very hot. Do not touch it
with your bare hands, wear the
glove that is supplied with the ap-
pliance, wear it on the hand that
will not hold the appliance.
7 The glove is not heat resistant, it
protects your skin from only instant
touches. Avoid from long dura-
tion touches with the hot conical
barrel.
7 Do not allow the conical heating
element to come into contact with
your skin, face, neck or head.
7 Set the appliance to the lowest
temperature level the first time you
use it. You can find the level which
is suitable for your hair by incre-
menting the temperature level.
1 Place the appliance on a solid,
flat, heat resistant surface.
2 Plug the power cord G into the
wall socket.
3 Adjust the temperature level with
the temperature setting wheel E.
Note
7 There are 3 temperature levels
which are shown with the markers
on the temperature setting wheel.
One dot shows the minimum and
three dots show the maximum tem-
perature level. The temperature
can also be set between the dots.
4 Press and hold down On button
F for 2 seconds to switch on the
appliance.
– The mode indicator light D
lights up blue and starts flashing
until it reaches the set tempera-
ture.
– When the appliance has reach-
ed the desired temperature,
the mode indicator light D
stops flashing, meaning that it is
ready to use.
– The mode indicator LED is also
flashing when set temperature
will be changed during opera-
tion until new set temperature
(higher or lower) is reached.
5 Comb or brush out a section of
your hair about 3 cm wide.
6 Hold the appliance from the han-
dle so that the cool tip A shows
down.

7 Wrap the section of hair around
the conical heating element B;
starting from the upside to the end
of the hair strand.
8 After 5 to 10 seconds, remove the
conical heating element B from
your hair.
Note
7 Repeat the procedure section by
section.
9 After use, switch the appliance off
by pressing the Off button F for
2 seconds.
– The mode indicator light D
disappears.
10 Unplug the power cord G from
the wall socket.
Now, your defined curls are
ready – spectacularly springy and
in a perfect, long lasting shape.
For gentle waves just comb the
hair once or style it with your
fingers until you get the result you
like.

OPERATION __________________________
Notes
7 The appliance can reach a
temperature of 120° C up to a
maximum temperature of 210 °C.
It reaches 100° C approximately
in 30 seconds.
7 If the appliance is not used for
a while after it is heated up, it
automatically switches off after
60 minutes.
7 Never leave the appliance unat-
tended while it is plugged in.
7 Allow the appliance to cool down
in a safe place.

INFORMATION _________________________
Cleaning and care
1 Turn the appliance off and unplug
the power cord G from the wall
socket.
2 Before cleaning, allow the
appliance to cool down. The
appliance can become very hot
and may take up to 45 minutes to
cool down.
3 Clean the appliance only with a
soft damp cloth.
Caution
7 Never put the appliance or power
cord in water or any other liquid.
Do not use any cleaning agents.
Note
7 Before using the appliance after
cleaning, dry all parts carefully
using a dry soft towel.
Storage
7 If you do not plan to use the
appliance for a long period of
time, please store it carefully.
7 Make sure that it is unplugged,
has completely cooled and is
completely dry.
7 Do not wrap the power cord
around the appliance.
7 Keep it in a cool, dry place.
7 Make sure that the appliance is
kept out of the reach of children.
