Safety
Please note the following when starting up the
appliance:
7This appliance is intended for domestic use
only.
7Never use the appliance in the bath, shower
or over a washbasin full of water or with wet
hands.
7Do not immerse the appliance in water and
never allow it to come into contact with water,
even when cleaned.
7The appliance must never be used near water
in baths, washbasins or other receptacles.
7If you use the appliance in the bathroom,
always ensure that the mains plug is
disconnected after use, as the proximity of
water is a potential risk, even if the appliance
is switched off.
7If not already present, for additional protection
it is recommend to install a residual-current-
operated protective device (RCD) with a rated
residual operating current not exceeding
30 mA in the electrical circuit of your
bathroom. Ask your plumber for advice.
7Never place the appliance on soft cushions or
blankets/bedcovers while it is switched on.
7Do not cover the air intake and outlet
openings while the appliance is switched on.
7The appliance is equipped with overheating
protection.
7Remove mains plug from socket after use. Do
not remove the plug from the socket by pulling
on the cable.
7Never start up the appliance if it or the power
cord shows signs of visible damage.
7If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service centre
or a similarly qualified person to prevent
danger arising.
7Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
7The device may not be used by the following
people, including children: those with limited
physical, sensory or mental capabilities and
also those with a lack of experience and
knowledge. This does not apply to the latter if
they were instructed in the use of the device or
if they use it under the supervision of a person
responsible for safety. Children should always
be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the device.
7Never open up the appliance. All rights to
claim under the guarantee are invalidated for
damage caused by improper interventions.

Settings
You can choose the following settings for your
appliance:
Temperature setting/blower
level
– 0: Off
– 1: gentle airflow, moderate temperature
for gentle drying and styling
– 2: strong airflow, high temperature
for fast drying and styling
Replacing the styling attachments
1Remove the attached styling attachment
by pressing the pushbutton and pulling off
the thermo brush.
2Position the other styling attachment with the
recess flush with the fastener/pushbutton and
latch into place
Note:
7The diameter of the styling attachments affects
the size of curls. The ø 25 mm styling
attachment produces small and medium-sized
curls and is especially suitable for short
haircuts. Use the ø 38 mm styling attachment
to achieve greater volume in long hair.

Use
Check whether the mains voltage given on the
rating plate (on the handle of the appliance)
matches the local mains voltage.
1Towel dry the hair after washing.
2Plug the power cord plug into the socket.
3Switch on the appliance at the switch and
select the required temperature setting/blower
level.
4After use, switch off the appliance at the
switch and remove the power cord plug
from the socket.
Important
7Never wind the power cord around the
appliance as this can damage it.
Please check the power cord and appliance
regularly for visible damage.
Cleaning and care
Always remove the mains plug before cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Use a soft, dry cloth the clean the housing. Do not
forget to clean the air inlet grille occasionally;
use a soft brush to remove dust and hairs.
