Navigation and controls
[NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) has two different
functions:
•Turn [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) to select
among menu items.
•Conrm the selectionbypressing [NAVIGATE/
ENTER/VOLUME] (7).
Press [Back/Info] (6) to return to the previous
menulevel.
Volume adjustment
Turn [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) to increase/
reduce the volume.
6. Getting started
Note –Optimal reception
•For bestreception, ensure that the antenna
is fully extended.
•Try various different positions if necessaryto
get the best reception.
6.1 Switchingthe device on
•Connectthe device to aproperly installed
socket.
Warning
•Only connect the product to asocket that
has been approved for the device. The
electrical socket must alwaysbeeasily
accessible.
•Disconnect the product from the mains
using the on/off switch –ifthis is not
available,unplug the product from the
socket.
•Wait until the radio initialisation procedurehas
nished.
The stationsearch in the operating mode DAB
starts up automatically when the radio is turned
on for the rstt
ime.
By default, the radio starts with the Englishmenu
navigation. Set up your desired languageas
describedin6.2 Language.
6.2 Language
At initialstartup, the languageofthe radio
defaults to English.Tochange the language,
please proceedasfollows:
•Press and hold [Mode/Settings](5) for about
3seconds to access the settings menu.
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]to
navigate to the ‘System’menu item.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/
ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]toget
to the ‘Language’ menu item.Conrm the
selection by pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE].
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]toselect
your desired system language.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/
ENTER/NAVIGATE].

Navigation und Steuerung
[NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) hat eine duale
Funktionsbelegung:
•Durch Drehen von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME]
(7) im MenüwählenSie einzelne Menüpunkte
aus.
•Durch Drücken von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/
VOLUME] (7) bestätigen Sie die Auswahl.
Drücken Sie [Back/Info] (6), um auf die vorherige
Menüebene zurückzukehren.
Lautstärkeanpassen
Durch Drehen von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME]
(7) erhöhen/reduzieren Sie die Lautstärke.
6. Inbetriebnahme
Hinweis –Empfang optimieren
•Umdie optimaleEmpfangsleistung zu
ermöglichen, beachten Sie bitte, dass die
Antenne vollständig ausgelegt werden
sollte.
•Gegebenenfalls sollten Sie verschiedene
Standorte testen, um den bestmöglichen
Empfang zu er-reichen.
6.1 Einschalten
•Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit einer
ordnungsgemäß installierten Steckdose.
Warnung
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur an einer
dafür zugelassenen Steckdose. Die
Netzsteckdose muss jederzeit leicht
erreichbar sein.
•Trennen Sie das Produkt mittels des Ein-/
Ausschalters vom Netz –wenn dieser nicht
vorhanden ist, ziehenSie das Produkt aus
der Steckdose.
•Warten Sie, bis die Initialisierung des Radios
abgeschlossenist.
Beim ersten Start wirdautomatisch der
Sendersuchlauf im Betriebsmodus DAB
gestartet. Standardmäßig startet das Radiomit
englischer Menüführung.
Die gewünschte Sprache können Sie wie in 6.2
Sprache beschrieben einstellen.
6.2 Sprache
Bei Erstinbetriebnahmeist als Standardsprache
des RadiosEnglisch eingestellt. Gehen Sie wie
folgt vor,umdie Sprache anzupassen:
•Drückenund haltenSie [Mode/Settings]
(5) für ca. 3Sekunden, um in das
Einstellungsmenü zu gelangen.
•NavigierenSie durch Drehen von [VOLUME/
ENTER/NAVIGATE]zum Menüpunkt „System“.
•Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch Drücken von
[VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Durch Drehen von [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE]gelangen Sie zum Eintrag
„Language“. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahldurch
Drücken von [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].

6.1 Mise sous tension
•Branchez l’appareil àune prise de courant.

une prise de courant appropriée. La prise
de courant doit êtrefacilement accessible à
tout moment.
•Mettez le produit hors tension àl’aide de
l’interrupteurOn/Off -débranchez la prise
de courant en cas d'absence d'interrupteur.
•Veuillez patienterjusqu’àlandelaprocédure
d‘initialisation de la radio.
Lors du premier démarrage, une recherche de
stations démarre automatiquement dans le mode
DAB. La langue de menupar défaut de la radio

asignación de funciones:

Regular el volumen

6. Puesta en funcionamiento
Nota –Optimizar recepción
•Parafacilitar un rendimiento óptimodela
recepción, tenga en cuenta que la antena
debe extraerse completamente.
•Puede que deba probar diferentes
ubicaciones paraobtener la mejor
recepción posible.
6.1 Encender
•Conecte el dispositivo auna toma de corriente
correctamenteinstalada.
Aviso
•Utilice el producto sólo conectado auna
toma de corriente autorizada. La toma de
corriente debe estar fácilmente accesible en
todo momento.
•Desconecte el producto de la redmediante
el interruptoron/off; de no haberlo,
desenchufe el producto de la toma de
corriente.
•Espere aque hayaconcluido la inicialización
de la radio.
La primeravez que se enciende, se inicia
automáticamente la búsqueda de emisoraenel
modo operativo DAB. La radio se inicia con la
guía de menúeninglés de maneraestándar.
El idioma deseado lo puede ajustar como se
describe en 6.2 Idioma.
