DuraLED® 12 White LED Universal High Ecacy Lamp
Dualvolt 12 / 24V DC with or without switch
HELLA LED lamps o-er many advantages over conventional bulb lamps including signi¿cantly reduced power consumption and
a high tolerance to shock and vibration for an ultra long service life.
Installation
- Carefully insert a small at blade screwdriver between the cover and the lens and pull towards the lens, the cover will clip o-.
- Drill two holes up to 6mm Ø at 47mm centres.
- 5mm Ø screws or bolts are recommended to mount
the lamp using the mounting bushes provided.
- Lamp should be mounted on a at surface.
- If passing the cable through a hole, ensure there are
no sharp edges to cut or chafe the cable.
- Drill a cable exit hole 6mm Ø in the position as shown on diagram below.
- Connect cable as per instructions below.
- Clip the cover on securely until ush with the lamp surface.
- When mounting lamp units side by side allow a gap of 5mm
to ensure cover can be removed.
- For the switch version of this lamp: ¿rmly push the heavy duty switch
in the centre of the lamp to turn lamp on or o-.
Wiring & Protection: This lamp is Dualvolt capable, allowing full light output on both 12 and 24 volt electrical
systems. LED modules are polarity conscious. Reverse polarity will not damage this product but will inhibit its function.
Hella marine recommends wire connections be soldered and heat shrink tubing applied to seal the joint. Lamp must
be protected by a fuse rated at 5 amperes maximum.Do not attempt to open – no serviceable parts inside.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC): This LED lamp is an electronic device. The electrical circuits contain components
that suppress possible interference, both emission as well as susceptibility, to the limits prescribed in international regulations.
To avoid false signals or interference, it is standard practice that sensitive instrumentation such as ABS and Tachometers etc.
are provided with direct earths.
Protection against damage due to voltage spikes: This Dualvolt LED lamp is protected against damage from positive
voltage spikes caused by events such as load dump conditions up to severity level 3 of ISO 7637-2 and against reverse polarity
connection and negative voltage spikes of up to 1000 volts.
Electric Welding may damage the LED lamps. For LED lamps installed on vehicles, HELLA recommends the negative connection
to be wired isolated from the vehicle chassis. If the lamp uses the chassis as the earth return it is recommended that this earth
return is disconnected during electric welding.

or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to

This warranty does not cover:
1. Claim/s as a result of normal wear and tear or of any modi¿cations and / or alterations to the product in any shape or form.
2. Claim/s as a result of non-compliance of the assembly, service and operating instructions and/or any un¿t or improper use.
3. Any expenses incurred in the process of making the claim.

DuraLED® 12 Lampe polyvalente ultra ecace à LED blancs
Dualvolt 12 / 24V DC avec ou sans interrupteur
Les éclairages à LED de HELLA procurent de nombreux avantages par rapport aux feux conventionnels à ampoules tels qu'une
consommation électrique extrêmement réduite et une résistance élevée aux chocs et au vibrations ce qui leurs confèrent une
durée de vie ultra longue.
Installation et câblage
- Insérez avec précautions un tournevis plat de petite taille entre
l'habillage supérieur et le corps de la lampe pour déloger celui-ci.
- percez deux trous de diamètre 6 mm (max) à un écartement de
47 mm (centres à centres),
- il est recommandé d'utiliser des boulons de Ø 5 mm pour ¿xer
la lampe; utiliser les bagues de montage fournies,
- la lampe doit être installée sur une surface plane,
- si le câble est inséré dans un trou, s'assurer qu'il n'y ait pas d'angles
vifs qui pourraient endommager celui-ci,
- percez un trou de 6 mm pour la sortie du câble électrique,
- connectez la lampe selon le tableau ci-après,
- en ¿n d'opération, repousser délicatement l'habillage sans utiliser
d'outils jusqu'à ce qu'il soit de niveau avec la base de la lampe.
- lorsque plusieurs lampes sont montées côte à côte, il convient de
maintenir un écartement minimal de 5 mm pour permettre le démontage des habillages.
- Pour les modèles avec interrupteur: presser fortement le bouton situé au centre de la lampe pour allumer ou éteindre.
Raccordement et protection: Cette lampe est "Dualvolt" c.a.d qu'elle fonctionne et délivre la même intensité lumineuse à partir
de circuits électriques 12 ou 24 volts. Les éclairages à LED ont une polarité prédéterminée. L'inversion de polarité n'endommagera
pas ce produit mais ses fonctions seront rendues inopérantes. Hella recommande que les câbles soient soudés et qu'une gaine
de protection thermorétractable soit ajoutée pour garantir l'étanchéité. Cette lampe doit être protégée par un fusible de 5 ampères
maximum. Ne pas ouvrir la lampe, celle-ci ne contient pas de pièces pouvant être remplacées.

Compatibilité électromagnétique (EMC): Cet éclairage à LED est un appareil électronique. Les circuits électriques
incorporent des composants qui éliminent les interférences potentielles, tant au niveau des émissions propres à l'appareil qu'à
la susceptibilité aux émissions externes, selon les limites prescrites par les normes internationales. Pour éviter l'émission de
signaux néfastes et interférences, il est d'usage que les équipements sensibles tels que les centrales ABS ou les compte-tours
soient fournis directement avec une connexion à la masse.
Protection contre les dégâts liés aux pics de tension: Ce feu à LED est protégé contre les pics de tension causés par
des événements externes pouvant atteindre un degré de sévérité no. 3 selon la norme ISO 7637-2. Ce feu est également protégé
contre les inversions de polarité ainsi que les pics de tension négative jusqu'à 1000 volts.
Le soudage électrique peut endommager les feux LED. Si le feu est installé sur un vehicule, HELLA recommande que
la connexion négative soit isolée du châssis. Si le feu utilise le châssis comme retour par la masse, il est recommandé de
déconnecter ce retour pendant le soudage électrique.
DuraLED® 12: Universell einsetzbare, weiße, hocheziente LED Leuchte
Dualspannung 12 / 24 Volt mit oder ohne Schalter
HELLA LED Leuchten bestechen im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Leuchten mit Glühlampen durch eine deutlich geringere
Leistungsaufnahme, stark reduzierte Wärmeentwicklung sowie einem erhöhten Widerstand gegen Stöße, Vibrationen und
Feuchtigkeit. Dies garantiert ein besonders langes Serviceleben.
Installation
- Führen Sie vorsichtig einen achen Schraubenzieher in die Kerbe zwischen
Leuchtengehäuse und Abdeckung ein, um diese zu entfernen.
- Bohren Sie zwei Löcher mit max. 6mm Ø im Abstand von 47mm.
- Zur Befestigung verwenden Sie Schrauben/Bolzen mit 5mm Ø
sowie die inkludierten Montagebuchsen.
- Die Leuchte sollte auf eine ache Oberäche montiert werden.
- Wenn Sie das Kabel durch die Löcher führen, stellen Sie sicher, dass
es nicht durch harte Kanten beschädigt wird.
- Bohren Sie ein Loch mit 6mm Ø für die Kabelausführung (siehe
Diagramm unten).
- Schließen Sie die Kabel wie unten beschrieben an.
- Drücken Sie die Abdeckung wieder auf die Leuchte, bis beide bündig sind.
- Werden mehrere Leuchten nebeneinander installiert, muss der Abstand
zwischen den Leuchten mind. 5mm betragen, damit die Abdeckungen entfernt werden können.
- Für die Leuchtenversion mit Schalter: Zum Ein- und Ausschalten fest auf den Schalter zwischen den
beiden Lichtscheiben drücken.
Verkabelung und Spannungsschutz: Diese Dualspannungsleuchte kann sowohl in 12 als auch in 24 Volt-Bordnetzen betrieben
werden.LED Module sind polungsemp¿ndlich. Durch die eingebauten Schutzschaltkreise wird diese Leuchte bei Verpolung nicht
beschädigt, sie funktioniert aber in diesem Fall nicht. Wir empfehlen, alle Verbindungen zu löten und anschließend mit Schrumpfschlauch
abzudichten. Die Leuchte muss außerdem durch eine Sicherung mit einer Belastbarkeit von nicht mehr als 5 Ampere abgesichert
werden. Leuchte nicht önen – in diesem Gerät sind keine Teile, die vom Benutzer gewartet werden können.

Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit (EMV): Diese LED Leuchte ist ein elektronisches Gerät. Ihre integrierten Schaltkreise
beinhalten Komponenten, die Interferenzen (sowohl Emissionen als auch Anfälligkeit für EMV-Strahlung anderer Geräte)
unterdrücken und entsprechen internationalen Bestimmungen. Um falsche Signale oder Störungen zu vermeiden, sollten
sensible Instrumente wie ABS oder Tachometer direkt an Masse angeschlossen werden.
Schutz vor Spannungsspitzen: Diese Dualspannungsleuchte ist geschützt gegen positive Spannungsspitzen bedingt durch
Überlast bis zur Stufe 3 der ISO 7637-2 sowie gegen Verpolung und negative Spannungsspitzen bis 1000 Volt.
Elektroschweißen kann die LED Leuchte beschädigen. Wenn die Leuchte an ein Fahrzeug installiert wird, emp¿ehlt HELLA,
den negativen Pol isoliert vom Fahrzeugrahmen anzuschließen. Wenn die Leuchte den Fahrzeugrahmen zur Erdung benutzt,
sollte das Erdungskabel vor dem Schweißvorgang abgeklemmt werden.
