Usage Notes
Follow these precautions to ensure safe operation and to
obtain the full benets of the various functions.
CAUTION
• Do not apply a DC voltage directly to
the 9261,9261-10 TEST FIXTURE.
Also, before connecting a capacitor,
make sure it is discharged.
CAUTION
• Do not store or use the product where it could be
exposed to direct sunlight, high temperature or
humidity, or condensation. Under such conditions,
the product may be damaged and insulation may
deteriorate so that it no longer meets specications.
• Do not use the product where it may be exposed to
corrosive or combustible gases. The product may be
damaged.
• This product is not designed to be entirely waterproof
or dustproof. Do not use it in an especially dusty
environment, nor where it might be splashed with
liquid. This may cause damage.
• To avoid damage to the product, protect it from
physical shock when transporting and handling it.
Be especially careful to avoid physical shock due to
dropping it.
• If the xture has gotten seriously wet, oily, or dusty,
stop using it and send it for service at an approved
HIOKI service facility.
• Please refer to the instruction manual for the
instrument to which this product is connected for how
to use the instrument and apply direct current voltage.
• The terminals may be brought into contact with each
other due to lead sizes of samples to be tested or
sample inserting positions, failing in the four-terminal
connection. This will deteriorate measurement
accuracy and repeatability for low-impedance samples.
• Which test xture can be used depends on the measuring
device to which this product is connected. Using a wrong
xture may increase the measurement error.
• Use the 75 Ωconnection cable for 9261, and the 50 Ω
connection cable for 9261-10. Using a wrong cable
may increase the measurement error.
