1 - INTRODUCTION
1-1 General
Domonial 800++ is a wireless control panel with a built-in siren and digital communicator The CMI800++ is a wireless control panel with a
built-in siren, digital communicator and audio verification The speaker is used for the siren as well
The radio link between the various components of the system facilitates easy installation without the need for most cabling This version can be
used with both the “HF” (except CLB800HF) and the “M” peripherals ranges (for example IRV800M…)
Arming and disarming can be controlled by wireless keypads and wireless keyfobs from the Domonial 800 range (except CLB800HF)
Programming of the control panel and digital communicator can be done using a PDA with DomoPDA software or a PC running Windows 98
(or higher)1 Programming is also possible via the PSTN or GSM network using a specific modem (Domodem)
A 1000 (2) events log file can be browsed through using the programming tool
The panel has built-in mains supply and a 4V- 3 5A/h back-up battery (not supplied)
System settings are saved in the case of total power loss (mains and battery)

Users
The control panel allows up to 10 users (including master) The keyfobs/keypads and the codes are assigned for each user
Each user can have a code and/ or a TAG set on each mono-directional keypad, or shared by all bidirectional keypads
Users can be supervised so the user’s Id is stored in the events log and reported to the monitoring station
In addition, a set of pictures can be taken on arming/disarming and sent to the monitoring station when setup
Dedicated profiles for limited time access and clocking are also available on some versions of the product
Alarm detection
The detectors can be programmed:
- Delayed: with an entry/exit delay programmable from 0 to 90 seconds (for total, part or annex area)
- Mixed: delay or instant trigger depending on which input is activated first
- Immediate : direct trigger
Technical devices are programmed as “24/24” and trigger independently of area arming status
Alarm signaling
Several sounder operating modes are available:
- Standard siren
- Siren activated upon intrusion or loss of PSTN
- Siren activated on tamper detection (24/24) or only when Total area is armed
- Siren activated on fire detection
Intrusion sounding duration can be programmed from 0 to 240 seconds
Activation of the sounder can also be postponed until after the alarm signal has been transmitted
Fire sounding(*) duration is fixed to 300 seconds and can be delayed from 0 to 300 seconds

1-3 ransmitter function
The Domonial 800++ control panel includes a digital communicator designed to send information, via the PSTN or GSM (optional) network to:
- an Alarm Receiving Center using the following formats: Secom3, Surtec, Cesa, Stratel, Contact ID
- a telephone set
The Domonial 800++ control panel can receive and integrate a full set of parameters from a remote position via the PSTN or GSM data
networks Specific software and modem are necessary (depending on country rules)
8 call numbers / addresses (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) each containing a maximum of 20 digits can be programmed and designate:
- Phone numbers for PSTN or GSM calls > number can be entered using * for pause
- IP addresses for GPRS connections > use the following format : xxx xxx xxx xxx:yyyy
xxx xxx xxx xxx is the server IP address Example: 192 168 0 56
yyyy is the port number : 443 is generally used
A dialing prefix (within the maximum of 20 digits) can be programmed when a telephone exchange or a phone card is used
The call sequences (up to 6) can be modified by the programming tool
The CMI800++ includes an audio verification system
With the GPRS optional module, the communicator can send pictures taken by the IRV800M detector/still camera
It is possible to activate automation functions and surveillance arming (as it is programmed) via a DTMF telephone set
The telephone line interface has built-in voltage surge protection and phone line failure detection

2 – INSTALLING
2-1 Preliminary precautions
The circuit board uses advanced technology CMOS circuits : as with any other electronic devices, these circuits are sensitive to
electrostatic shocks
Before touching the board or its circuits, discharge the electrostatic current by touching the earthed box base
Characteristics of a radio transmission
Like light, radio waves are propagated in a straight line They can be
attenuated when sent through certain materials (wood, Artex, brick,
concrete, steel reinforcements) and even reflected by metal surfaces
(mirror, steel sheeting, aluminum steam-arrestor, fine-mesh wire-
netting)
It is therefore obvious that the quality and range of radio links between
the various components largely depends on the existing environmental
characteristics (nature and thickness of the neighboring materials)
In the open (without any obstructions) the radio transmitter range is
more than 150 m Indoors, the range is reduced (by 30 to 50% as an
average) by the various obstructions
The four diagrams (opposite) show radio wave behavior as a function of
the interfering material:
Checks before installation
The above paragraph demonstrates that radio wave behavior is not
necessarily identical in every premise therefore, before securing the
various components of the system, the following tests should be
made :
 Test the radio link by positioning each peripheral unit and the control
panel in their anticipated final locations (use the "radio recept " caption
in the main menu) It is not necessary to record the peripheral at this
stage
 Using the field meter, check the received radio signal strength for
each peripheral For a reliable radio communication a minimum level of
2 boxes is recommended
If such signal strength cannot be obtained, move the device a few inches
or slightly move the control panel

To help you find the best position for the system
components, the Domonial 800++ control panel has a
radio field meter of the RSSI type This enables you to
check the strength of the received radio signal
Scaled from 1 to 10, this information is delivered
during the test and record phases Therefore, to make
the best use of this function, it must be carried out
when the transmitter is in its final location

2-2 Securing the control panel CR /CRI800++ and connections
The control panel has 4 securing points
The base can be used as a template for holes marking
Detach the various cut outs before securing the panel and use to plug holes as required
Do not use the base as a drilling template
Mains: (Terminal bloc J1)
The control panel is supplied from the mains, 230V with earth A built-in transformer ensures supply to the control panel and battery
charging The mains is protected by a fuse integrated into the circuit board It protects the electrical system and cannot be removed
A fused switch /spur (depending on country) must be used for connecting the CRT/CRI800++ to the mains
Telephone line (Terminal bloc : J2)
Connect the telephone line using the "Stocko" connector (included) Terminals "L1, L2" and "P1, P2" are marked and correspond to
telephone line input and return to set respectively (If you’re using an ADSL line, please visit our web site for information about filter)
he control panel must be connected so as to override any other call.
Serial port (J3)
A serial port is available to connect the programming tool or a personal computer (with optional cord) via an RJ45 connector

Battery connection: (Red wire + and Blac wire - with lugs)
The power supply must be backed up by a 4V-3 5Ah battery (included) to maintain system operation in case of mains failure
Once the battery has been connected the system will not be initialized until mains connection
Do not leave the battery connected to the control panel without the mains being connected, (e.g. storage before installation). In
this case power used would be 1mA. System parameter back up by EEPROM requires no power supply
Extension module port (J4)
This connector is used when the optional GSM or GPRS module is fitted
Wired extension connectors (J6 to J9)
The CMI800++ control panel contains connectors1 allowing the connection of:
- Up to 3 remote audio modules type TP800 (J6 and J7) Total cable length between the audio modules and the control panel shouldn’t
exceed 33m The audio modules power supply on connector J6 should be used exclusively for the connection of a TP800 The use of
the integrated local audio module or the remote audio module is selected using jumpers J10 and J11 (see diagram)
- An output device (J8) This device should be powered by an external source (12V max) The parameters of this output can be
modified
- An external tamper (J6) This input should be activated using the programming tool
- A XM10 transmitter (J9) to pilot X10 receivers with an X10 address and On/Off states

3 - PROGRAMMING
The Domonial panel can be programmed using:
- A PDA (Palm or Pocket PC) using the DomoPDA software The connection to the panel is made with the “CAB800Palm” cable
and the PDA’s serial cable Please see the EKZ000800 programming manual for more details
- A PC using the “DOMOS A ION” or “DOMOPC” software depending on panel software version The connection to the panel
is made with the “CAB800PC”
To use DOMOSTATION or DOMOPC as a remote tool, a modem “DOMODEM” has to be used Please see the EKZ010200
programming manual for more details
4 – OPERATION
4-1 ransmission to a D MF telephone set
Once programmed Domonial++ can send information to a telephone set
When a call is received and the handset is picked up the identification music is played
followed by a number of beeps corresponding to the triggered input When several
devices have been triggered, only the first one is indicated
After the message has been played, an acknowledgement is made by pressing the # key
Then, if there is audio programmed, the site can be listened to remotely
Hanging up terminates the call
If the above configuration does not exist or if a decimal telephone is used, the message will be repeated using the programmed
sequence
The identification music can be changed When the DTMF remote code is even, Music 1 is played, when it is odd, Music 2 is played

5-1 Radio Jamming diagram
The default appears if the jamming level in one of the channels is lower from one unit for 30 seconds than the level of the peripheral
with the worse level, in 60 seconds time slot After that, and for one hour, the jamming detection is disabled (only in the log = no
transmission)

5-3 : Knowledge of the various formats
Secom 3:
Secom 3 is a DTMF Format Used in conjunction with control panel CMI800++ it features:
- Identifier code (8 Numeric digits)
- Numeric codes from 0 to 98
- Checksum verifying the received and transmitted data frame integrity
- Information to the ARC as to the period of time elapsed between alarm activation and surveillance arming
- Area surveillance status upon cyclic testing
- Listening duration between 1 and 240 seconds
- Compatibility with the pictures transfer using the PIR/Camera detector IRV800M
- Changing to Modem mode (owner) for switching to Secom-Vat protocol (remote parameter setting and maintenance)
- Digital communicator time setting from the alarm receiver
- Optional automated scripts via Honeywell’s server IST, Technical Service Integrator
his format is supported by Honeywell’s PE1500 and PE1800 alarm receivers.

1 - PRESENTATION
1-1 Généralités
Domonial 800++ est une centrale d’alarme radio entièrement programmable, intégrant une sirène et un transmetteur téléphonique
La CMI800++ intègre un micro et un Haut-parleur Cette centrale permet d’effectuer une écoute/interphonie à distance Le Haut-parleur est
utilisé également comme moyen de dissuasion sonore (Sirène)
La liaison radio entre les différents éléments de l’installation permet de s’affranchir de la majorité des câbles facilitant ainsi l’installation Cette
version gère à la fois les périphériques radio de type « HF » (sauf CLB800HF) ainsi que les nouveaux périphériques de type « M » (ex :
IRV800M…)
Les commandes de mise En/Hors surveillance du système peuvent être réalisées par des claviers radio ou télécommandes radio de la gamme
Domonial 800 (sauf CLB800HF)
La programmation (centrale et transmetteur) peut être réalisée en local à l’aide d’un PDA de type Palm ou Pocket PC (logiciel « DOMOPDA »)
ou d’un micro-ordinateur avec Windows 98 minimum (logiciel DOMOS A ION et DOMOPC)1

1-2 Partie Centrale d’alarme
La centrale dispose, suivant sa programmation, de :

Les utilisateurs :
La centrale gère 10 utilisateurs (dont un utilisateur maître) ; Les organes de commande et les codes sont affectés pour chaque
utilisateur Chaque utilisateur peut avoir un code et/ou un TAG configuré sur chaque clavier monodirectionnel ou partagé par
l’ensemble des claviers bidirectionnels
Les utilisateurs peuvent être supervisés de sorte que leur identifiant est mémorisé dans le journal des événements et transmis à
l’opérateur de télésurveillance De plus, un jeu de photos peut être pris sur mise en service / hors service et envoyé à l’opérateur selon
la configuration
Des profils spécifiques pour un accès à durée limité et le pointage sont disponibles sur certaines versions du produit
La détection d’alarme :
Les détecteurs de l’installation peuvent être programmés :
- Temporisés : en entrée/sortie avec une tempo programmable de 0 à 90s par zone
- Mixtes : temporisés ou immédiats suivant l’entrée déclenchée en 1er ; un détecteur mixte est systématiquement temporisé en
marche partielle
- Immédiats : à déclenchement immédiat
Les détecteurs techniques sont programmés en déclenchement 24/24, c’est à dire que leur déclenchement est indépendant de l’état des
zones
La signalisation sonore :
Plusieurs modes de fonctionnement sont disponibles pour les sirènes:
- Sirène standard
- Sirène sur intrusion et coupure de ligne RTC
- Sirène sur déclenchement 24/24 ou uniquement en surveillance totale
- Sirène sur détection incendie
La durée déclenchement de la sirène intrusion est programmable de 0 à 240s
Le déclenchement de la sirène peut également être retardé pour permettre la transmission de l’alarme avant l’alerte sonore
La durée de déclenchement de la sirène incendie(*) est fixée à 5 minutes et peut être retardée de 0 à 300 secondes

1-3 Fonction transmetteur
Domonial intègre un transmetteur pouvant envoyer des informations sur Réseau Téléphonique Commuté (ou GSM en option) vers :
- un PC de télésurveillance en protocole Secom3, Surtec, Cesa, Contact ID
- un poste téléphonique
Il est entièrement télé-paramétrable via RTC (ou GSM data) Un logiciel et un modem spécifiques sont nécessaires (*)
Domonial CMI800++ gère 8 destinataires (A, B, C, D, E , F, G, H) de 20 chiffres maximum peuvent être programmés
Les destinataires peuvent être :
- des numéros de téléphones (transmission par RTC ou GSM) > saisie des 10 chiffres et * pour pause
- des adresses IP (transmission par GPRS) > saisies sous la forme : xxx xxx xxx xxx :yyyy
xxx xxx xxx xxx correspond à l’adresse IP du serveur ex : 192 168 0 56
yyyy correspond au port du serveur : généralement 443
Un préfixe de numérotation (20 chiffres maximum) peut être programmé en cas d’installation avec standard ou d’utilisation de carte
téléphonique
Le transmetteur dispose de 6 séquences d’appel (de 1 à 6) programmables
La CMI intègre un micro/HP intégré permettant une levée de doute audio du site surveillé
Avec l’option GPRS, elle permet de gérer des détecteurs de type IRV800M pour la transmission d’images
Elle offre la possibilité d’effectuer des télécommandes à distance des mises en surveillance des zones (suivant programmation) à l’aide d’un
simple poste téléphonique (DTMF) et par SMS si l’option est présente
L’interface de ligne téléphonique dispose d’une protection contre les surtensions et d’un circuit de détection de coupure intégrés

2 – INSTALLATION
2-1 Précautions préalables
La réalisation de la carte fait appel à des circuits CMOS de technologies avancées
Comme tous les appareils électroniques, ces circuits sont sensibles aux phénomènes électrostatiques

o Procéder à une décharge sur la masse du boîtier (toucher le socle relié à la terre) avant de toucher la carte ou ses
circuits
Caractéristiques de la transmission radio
Comme la lumière, les ondes radio se propagent en ligne droite, elles
peuvent être atténuées lors de la traversée de certains matériaux (bois,
plâtre, brique, béton, armature métallique), et même réfléchies par les
surfaces métalliques (miroir, tôle, pare vapeur aluminium, grillage à
mailles fines)
Il apparaît alors évident que la qualité et la portée des liaisons radio
entre les différents équipements dépend de façon importante des
caractéristiques de l'environnement (nature des matériaux et épaisseur)
En champ libre (sans obstacle), la portée des émetteurs radio est
supérieure à 150 m En intérieur, elle est diminuée (en moyenne de 30 à
50%) par les différents obstacles rencontrés
Les 4 schémas ci-contre décrivent le comportement des ondes radio en
fonction des matériaux rencontrés :
A contrôler avant la mise en œuvre
Le paragraphe précédent montre que le comportement de la radio n’est
pas forcément identique pour tous les locaux
Aussi, nous vous recommandons avant de fixer les différents
éléments du système de :
> tester les liaisons radio en positionnant chaque périphérique et la
centrale à leur emplacement définitif,
(utilisez la rubrique « test réception radio » ) L’enregistrement des
périphériques n’est pas obligatoire pour cette étape,
> vérifier, grâce au mesureur de champ, la puissance du signal radio
reçu pour chaque périphérique Nous conseillons, pour assurer une
bonne fiabilité des liaisons radio, un niveau minimum en réception de 2
graduations
Si vous ne l’obtenez pas pour un périphérique, déplacez-le de quelques
centimètres, ou déplacez légèrement la centrale
Le mesureur de champ intégré
Pour vous aider à définir convenablement votre
installation, la centrale dispose d’un mesureur de
champ radio de type RSSI vous permettant de contrôler
la puissance d’un signal radio reçu
Graduée de 1 à 10, cette information vous est donnée
en phase de test ou d’enregistrement Ainsi, pour
utiliser efficacement cet outil, ces phases doivent être
réalisées avec l’émetteur à son emplacement définitif
Attention : toute intervention à l’intérieur du coffret de la
centrale doit être effectuée par un personnel qualifié :

2-2 Fixation de la centrale et raccordements
La fixation de la centrale s’effectue par 4 points
(la dépose de la carte électronique n’est pas nécessaire)
L’ensemble peut être utilisé comme gabarit pour tracer l’emplacement des trous
Les obturateurs doivent être retirés avant la fixation de la centrale Ils permettent
d’obstruer les passages de câbles dans le couvercle, non utilisés lors de l’installation
> Ne pas percer en utilisant le socle comme gabarit
Le secteur : (Bornier J1)
La centrale est alimentée par le secteur 230V avec terre Un chargeur intégré permet l’alimentation de la centrale et la charge de sa
batterie Le secteur est protégé par un fusible intégré à la carte Sa destruction visant à protéger l’installation électrique, il n’est pas
démontable Lors de l ‘installation, il faut prévoir un dispositif de protection par fusible (10A) facilement accessible pouvant
également servir de coupe circuit
La ligne téléphonique (Bornier : J2)
Raccorder la ligne téléphonique à l’aide du connecteur « stocko » fourni Les bornes sont marquées « L1, L2 » et « P1, P2 »,
correspondant respectivement à l’arrivée de la ligne et au retour poste

o Il est impératif de placer la centrale en tête de ligne afin d’assurer la priorité de la transmission.

La connexion batterie : (fil rouge+ et noir- avec cosses)
L’alimentation doit être secourue par une batterie (4V-3,5A/h fournie) afin d’assurer le fonctionnement du système en cas de panne

Après la connexion de celle-ci, le système ne s’initialisera qu’après avoir été connecté au secteur
Ne pas laisser la batterie connectée à la centrale sans le secteur (ex : stockage avant l’installation). En effet, dans ce cas la
consommation est de 1mA. Les paramètres sont sauvegardés en EEPROM, ne nécessitant pas d’alimentation
Le connecteur du module d’extension (J4)
Ce connecteur permet la mise en place du module GSM ou GPRS optionnel
Les connecteurs J6 à J9
La centrale CMI800++ possède des connecteurs1 permettant le raccordement de :
- 1 à 3 parlophones déportés de type TP800 (en J6 et J7) La longueur totale cumulée de câble entre les parlophones et la centrale
ne doit pas dépasser 33 m L’alimentation des parlophones disponible sur le connecteur J6 doit être utilisée exclusivement pour
le raccordement de TP800 L’utilisation du parlophone intégré ou déporté est sélectionnée par les cavaliers J10 et J11 (voir
schéma)
- un équipement pilotable (J8) Cet équipement devra être alimenté par une source externe (12V max) Cette sortie est
paramétrable
- une autoprotection externe (J6) Cette entrée doit être activée dans la programmation
- un transmetteur XM10 (J9) pour le pilotage de récepteurs X10 possédant une adresse X10 et des états Marche/ Arrêt

3 - PROGRAMMATION
La programmation de la centrale s’effectue par :
- un PDA de type Palm® ou Pocket PC avec l’application DOMOPDA Le raccordement à la centrale s’effectue grâce à un cordon
spécifique CAB800Palm (même référence pour Palm et Pocket PC) Le cordon série du constructeur de PDA est également
nécessaire Pour plus de détails se référer à la notice de programmation EKZ000800
- Un PC équipé de l’application Domostation ou Domopc selon la version logicielle de la centrale d’alarme Pour une utilisation en
local, le raccordement à la centrale s’effectue grâce à un cordon spécifique CAB800PC Pour une utilisation distante, un modem
spécifique DOMODEM est nécessaire Pour plus de détails se référer à la notice de programmation EKZ010200
4 – UTILISATION
4-1 Utilisation de la transmission sur téléphone D MF
Après avoir programmé la centrale, celle-ci peut envoyer des
informations vers un téléphone A réception de l’appel, après avoir
décroché le poste, la musique d’identification est jouée suivie du
nombre de bips correspondants à l’entrée qui a été déclenchée Pour le
cas ou plusieurs alarmes aient été déclenchées, seule la première est
indiquée Une fois la mélodie écoutée, l’acquit doit être réalisé par
l’appui sur la touche #. Pour terminer l’appel, il suffit de raccrocher
Dans le cas contraire ou dans le cas d’un téléphone décimal, le message sera répété jusqu’à la fin des tentatives
La musique d’identification peut être changée en modifiant le code utilisé pour les télécommandes DTMF (nombre pair : type 1 ou
impair : type 2)
