1安全及注意
气体探测器是应用于危险环境中的防爆产品，请在安装、操作及维护中确保该产品的
整体隔爆性能，并严格遵守产品使用地所在国家或地区的相关法律、法规。
为避免电击或可能引起的爆炸危险，在危险环境中对仪器进行任何开盖操作前请先关
闭电源，只有在确认周围环境安全的情况下，才可以对仪器进行开盖维护、操作。
2 安装前
当你收到探测器后，应该首先对照仪器包装箱中的“包装清单”，对照你所订购的仪器
及其配件是否正确。

4安装
Honeywell 新一代气体探测器 RAEGuard Lite 提供 1种标准安装附件。
4.1 使用标准安装附件安装：
安装方式 1：
•准备好探测器和 2个U型抱箍
•找到合适的安装位置，预先将立管（尺寸规格：直径
38mm～60mm）埋好
•先将其中 1个U型抱箍环绕立管再穿入探测器上相对应的
条形孔，用自带组合螺母顺时针紧固
•再将另 1个U型抱箍按相应的方法安装
安装方式 2：
•准备好探测器和 2个U型抱箍
•找到合适的安装位置，预先将横管（尺寸规格：直径
38mm～60mm）放置好
•先将其中 1个U型抱箍环绕立管再穿入探测器上相对应的条
形孔，用自带组合螺母顺时针紧固
•再将另 1个U型抱箍按相应的方法安装

•准备好探测器和 4个M8 膨胀螺钉（用户根据实际安装条
件自备）

标准安装方式如何安装“遮阳罩”：
•准备好订购的“遮阳罩”及自带的 2个组合螺钉 M8*25
•参考右图，将“遮阳罩”上的 2个固定孔与 RAEGuard Lite 的
上面 2个条形孔分别对齐
•先将 1个M8*25 组合螺钉按右图中的①位置穿入固定孔，顺
时针固定；再将另 1个组合螺钉穿入右图②位置的固定孔，
顺时针固定
5 电气连接
RAEGuard Lite 变送器根据连接的传感器原理不同，可连接 2种类型传感器。

5.1 变送器接线

5.3 电缆连接
注意：变送器上的所有电缆或连接口必须用经过认证的堵头或格兰头进行密封！
RAEGuard Lite 的连接电缆建议使用工业级的铠装电缆。
RAEGuard Lite 气体探测器需要控制器或上位机提供 16VDC～32VDC 之间的工作电
源，对于电缆连接距离时，请详细阅读 “用户使用手册” ，确保探测器的最小电压不小
于16VDC。
5.4 接地连接
为了确保仪表的电磁兼容性以及抗干扰的能力，良好的接地至关重要。详细使用及连
接，请参阅“用户使用手册”。
电缆的屏蔽层必须遵循“单点接地”原则。通常，电缆在变送器端的屏蔽层都和仪表的
公共点连接，即屏蔽层导线接入仪表外部或内部的一个空端子上。
6 系统状态
RAEGuard Lite 提供清晰、明确的、友好的人机界面，包含 3个磁性按键、1个主
LCD 屏和 3个系统 LED 指示灯。为了用户方便快速的使用该仪表，下表列出系统状
态LED 灯指示及相应的电流输出值，更多信息，请见 “用户使用手册” 。

Quick Start Guide

Before installing, operating or maintaining this product, please read and understand the user
manual [https://sps.honeywell.com/cn/zh] of RAEGuard Lite in detail. Please download it
from the Honeywell website or by scanning the QR code in this manual.
1) Safety and Caution
Gas detector is an explosion-proof product used in hazardous environment. Please ensure
the overall flameproof performance of the product during installation, operation and
maintenance, and strictly do abide by the relevant laws and regulations of the countries or
regions where the product is used.
In order to avoid possible electric shock or explosion hazard, please mandatorily turn off the
power supply before any open operation of the instrument in dangerous environment. Only
when the safety of the surrounding environment is ensured, the open maintenance and
operation of the instrument must be carried out.
2) Before Installation
Upon receiving the package, check it against the “packing list” to make sure that the
instrument and all its accessories you ordered are correctly provided.

If you have also ordered the following accessories:
Among them, the local visual and audible alarm will be placed in the packing box with the
detector, but please Note: the surge protection device and the Bluetooth module will be fitted
directly in the detector, and the relay module and the HART module will be included on the
PCB. RAEGuard Lite Gas Detector also provides users with more accessories to facilitate
different applications. They will be shipped separately from the detector. Please also check:
3) Physical Dimension
In order to meet the users' diverse application environments and needs, RAEGuard Lite
offers a wide range of accessories. The physical dimensions of the detector below do not
include other accessories, but only contains only the most basic units such as the transmitter,
sensor and waterproof cap.

4) Installation
Unlike other detectors, Honeywell's new generation gas detector—the RAEGuard Lite offers
a standard mount accessory and a fast,simple and efficient mounting plate kit fitting (to be
ordered separately).
4.1) Install using standard mount accessories:
Vertical Pipe Mounted:
•Prepare the detector and 2 x U-type bolts.
•Find the suitable installation position and bury
the pipe (diameter: 38mm ~ 60mm) in advance.
•First, let one U-type bolt surround the pipe and
then pierce into the corresponding strip hole
on the detector. Fasten it clockwise with
self-contained combination nuts.
•Then, install another U-type bolt with the
same method.
Horizontal Pipe Mounted:
•Prepare the detector and 2 x U-type bolts.
•Find the suitable installation position and bury
the pipe (diameter: 38mm ~ 60mm) in advance.
•First, let one U-type bolt surround the pipe and
then pierce into the corresponding strip hole
on the detector. Fasten it clockwise with self-
contained combination nuts.
•Then, install another U-type bolt with the
same method.
Wall Mounted:
•Prepare the detector and four M8 expansion
screws (prepared by users according to the
actual installation conditions).
•Find the proper installation position.
•As shown in the right figure, tighten the
four expansion screws in turn.

How to install “Sunshade/deluge” by the standard installation method:
•Prepare the ordered "Sunshade/deluge" and
two self-contained combination bolts M8*25.
•Referring to the right figure, align the two fixed
holes on the "sunshade/deluge" with the two
strip holes on RAEGuard Lite, respectively.
•First insert one M8*25 combination screw into
the fixed hole ①, and fix it clockwise; then,
insert another combination screw into the fixed
hole ②, and fix it clockwise, as shown in the
figure on the right.
5) Electrical
The RAEGuard Lite transmitter can be connected to three types of sensors depending on
the operating principle of the connected sensor.

5.1) Wiring
Note: All electrical connections must comply with local regulations and standards.
RAEGuard Lite transmitter only supports source current output. The connection method is
as follows:

point (it can be at one end of the controller or detector, but not at the same time). By default,
a resistance of 270 ohm (RL) is connected between the detector terminals. Before
connecting with the controller, remove the resistor.
If the RAEGuard Lite transmitter you purchase supports the HART function, connect it to the
HART terminal by referring to the following figure:
5.2) Terminals
Note: When wiring, open the top cover of the detector in advance and pull out the circuit
modules such as the display and the mainboard.
5.3) Cable connection
Note: All cables or connections on the transmitter must be sealed with certified plugs or
glands!
Industrial grade armored cables are recommended for RAEGuard Lite connection cables.
RAEGuard Lite gas detector needs the power supply between 16VDC and 32VDC provided
by the controller or upper system. For the cable connection distance, please read the “User’s

5.4) Grounding connection
In order to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility and anti-interference ability of the
instrument, good grounding is essential. For detailed use and connection, please refer to the
User's Manual.
The shielding layer of cable must follow the principle of "single point grounding" Usually, the
shielding layer of the cable at the transmitter end is connected to the common point of the
instrument, that is, the shielding layer wire is connected to an empty terminal outside or
inside the instrument.
6) System Status
RAEGuard Lite provides a clear, definite and user-friendly human-machine interface with
three magnetic keys, one main LCD screen and three system status LED indicators. For
user's convenience and quick use of the instrument, the following table lists the system
status LED light indicators and corresponding current output values. For more information,
see "User's Manual".

intermittently at -40°C ~ +70°C (The accuracy and response time of sensors operating in this temperature range will be affected,
and long-term operation may lead to sensor sensitivity decline or even damage.)
**** The performance characteristics of the products mentioned above are typical results tested in an environment with a
temperature 20°C and a humidity of 50% RH. When calibrating, use the calibration cap and recommended flow for detection. If
the sunshade/deluge is used instead or the detection is carried out at low temperature, the response time will be slowed down.
