MENT, in order to gain maximum
benet.
Failure to follow the instructions given
in this manual may have grave conse-
quences. We recommend that you
re-read these instructions from time
to time. In addition, the manufacturer
or its representative declines all res-
ponsibility in case of any use, storage
method or maintenance carried out in
any other manner than that described
in this manual.

TOTHE END USER
In the interests of the user’s safety, if
the product is re-sold outside of the
original destination country, the seller
must provide the following informa-
tion in the language habitually used
in the country of use:
maintenance instructions for
periodical examination;
instructions concerning repairs;
additional information required
that is specific to the equipment.
A fall arrest harness is the only body
harness that is legal for use in a fall ar-
rest system.
It is necessary to be completely sure
before use that the recommendations
specic to each element associated
with this product are respected, as
dened in their instructions, that they
comply with the applicable European
standards or otherwise any other
appropriate standard and that their
safety functions do not interfere with
one another.
Whenever possible, it is stongly re-
commended that this equipment be
personally assigned to a single user.
Check that the product you have just
acquired is compatible with the re-
commendations of the other system
components.
While in use, protect your PPE against
all risks connected with the work en-
vironment : thermal, electrical or me-
chanical shocks, acid splashes, sharp
edges, etc. …

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

WARNING
Activities at height are dange-
rous and can cause serious ac-
cidents and injuries. We remind
you that you are personally liable
in the case of an accident, injury
or fatality to either yourself or a
third party during or following
the use of one of our products.
The use of our products is reser-
ved to authorized persons who
have gone through the proper
training or who are operating un-
der the supervision and instruc-
tion of an authorized superior.
Ensure that you have been ade-
quately trained in the use of
this PPE and make sure that you
fully understand how it works. If
there is any doubt, do not take
any risks but rather seek advice.
Good physical condition is requi-
red in order to carry out work at
height. Certain medical contrain-
dications can threaten the user’s
safety (taking medications, car-
diovascular problems, etc.) du-
ring normal use of the PPE and
in emergencies. In any case of
doubt, consult your physician.
To correctly attach the fall arrest
harness to an anchorage point ( com-
pliant with EN 795 ), we recommend
that you proceed as follows :
To connect an energy absorber
( compliant with EN 355 )to the
back attaching element of the
fall arrest harness ( cf. EN 355 ) or
an automatic return fall arrester (
compliant with EN 360 )
For the chest attaching element
of the fall arrester of the harness,
connect a mobile fall arrester
which includes an anchorage
support ( rigid compliant with.
EN 353-1, flexible compliant with
EN 353-2 )

retaining system ( compliant with EN
358 )
In the working position, the adjust-
ment of the retaining lanyard must
not allow a Free movement excee-
ding 0.50m. This lanyard must be kept
taut. ( cf. 11 ).
The work positionning or retaining
system must not be used to stop a fall.
PUTTING ON THE FALL ARREST
HARNESS
Please proceed as follows in order to
put your harness on without diculty
(cf. 1) :
Take the harness by the Back ‘D’
ring,
Put on the shoulder straps one
after the other,
Pass the thigh straps between
your legs, in order to lock them
into the buckles on either side of
your hips. Be careful not to cross
the thigh straps
Adjust the thigh straps by pulling
or releasing the strap end ( cf.2 )
If your harness is fitted with a
belt, adjust and buckle it ( cf.2).
For harnesses equipped with
shoulder strap adjustment, adjust
the shoulder straps one after the
other by pulling on or releasing
the end of the strap,
Attach the thorax strap if present,
Connect the thorax attaching
points of the harness using a
connector ( compliant with EN
362 )
For a fall arrest harness to be totally
ecient, it must be properly adjusted
(not too tight or too loose). Please
note: harnesses made of elasticised
webbing require a tighter t.
Once your harness is adjusted, check
that no webbing is twisted or crossed
over, that all the buckles are correctly
attached and that the back‘D’ is situa-
ted at the level of the shoulder blades.
For optimum safety, do not hesitate to
seek help.
USE
The attachment of the fall arrest sys-
tem to the harness MUST be made
SOLELY by the back attaching ele-
ment provided for the purpose ( ”D”
link or webbing attaching extension)
( cf. 3 ) or by chest anchorage points
(webbing link or ”D” link ) ( cf. 4 & 5 ).
The chest attaching points must im-
peratively be used with two points
at the same time. The belt D-links
and the waist attaching points must
only be used to attach a work posi-
tioning or retaining system and NE-
VER with a fall arrest system ( cf. 6 ).
When connecting a shock-absorbing
lanyard to the dorsal extension strap
on the harness (cf. J ), ensure that the
total length of the lanyard + extension
strap + connector does not exceed
2m. When connecting a shock-absor-
bing lanyard to the dorsal extension
strap on the harness (cf. J ), ensure
that the total length of the lanyard +
extension strap + connector does not
exceed 2m.
During use, check the adjusting and/
or attaching parts regularly.
CHECKING
Before each use, carry out a thorough
visual examination to ensure that the
PPE, as well as any other equipment
that may be attached to it (connec-
tor, lanyard, etc.) is complete. Make
all necessary arrangements for the
implementation of any rescue in total
safety. In the event of your product
being damaged, consult the manu-
facturer or his agent. If you have any
doubts regarding the safe condition
of the product, or if the product has
been used to arrest a fall, it is essential
to your personal safety that the PPE

be withdrawn from service and sent
back to the manufacturer or a quali-
ed repair centre for checking, or des-
truction. Following examination, the
centre will either deliver or refuse writ-
ten authorisation to re-use the PPE. It
is strictly forbidden to modify or repair
a PPE yourself. Only the manufacturer
or a repair centre is qualied to carry
out these repairs.
Check the serviceable condition of the
harness : ( cf. 7 ) :
No incipient breaks in the
webbing,
No deformation of the D-links,
Correct operation of the buckle
systems,
Integrity of the seams,
Good condition of the metal
components.
SPACE CLEARANCE
If there is a risk of falling, or if ancho-
rage cannot be provided below the
attaching points of the harness, it is
essential to use a lanyard tted with
an energy absorber Before using an
energy absorber incorporated into a
lanyard, check for a minimum space
clearance below the user’s feet as ne-
cessary, to prevent any collision with
the structure or the ground. With a
weight of 100 kg and a fall factor of
two ( worst case scenario ), the air
clearance D is the stopping distance
H ( 2L+1.75m ) plus an additional dis-
tance of 1 m. ( cf. 8 ). Important: if the
harness is equipped with an extension
strap, take this into account when cal-
culating the clearance distance.
PERIODIC EXAMINATION
These instructions must be kept with
the product. Fill in the identication
sheet and enter the markings informa-
tion. This periodic examination, which
veries the eectiveness and strength
of the equipment is indispensable
in guaranteeing the user’s safety. A
qualied person must examine this
equipment at least once each year,
in strict compliance with the instruc-
tions of the manufacturer and the
examination must be recorded on
the attached sheet. The frequency of
the examination must be increased in
accordance with regulations in case
of heavy usage or in dicult environ-
mental conditions.The legibility of the
product markings must be checked.
LIFESPAN
The maximal life of PPE that is predo-
minantly textile is evaluated as being
10 years after the date of manufac-
ture. However, the following factors
may reduce the performance of the
product and its lifespan : incorrect
storage, improper use, fall arrest,
deformation, contact with chemical
products (alkali and acid), exposure to
sources of heat > 60°C ( cf. 9 ).
ANCHORAGE POINT
If possible, to be used with achorage
devices (conformed to the EN 795
standard) or structural anchor. that is
to say elements xed to last, to a struc-
ture (wall, post…).
Check that the anchorage point :
Offers minimum resistance of
12 kN,
Is situated above the operator, (
cf. 10 ).
Is vertically in line with the wor-
king surface: (maximum angle
± 30°),
Is totally suited to the equipment
attaching device
Has no sharp edges
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Good maintenance and storage of
your PPE will prolong the working-life
of your product, while also ensuring
your safety ( cf. 9 ). Be sure to comply
with these recommendations:
The harness should be cleaned
with water and a mild soap. Never
use acid, solvents or any solvent-
based product,
Leave to dry in a well-ventilated
area, away from sources of heat.
Store the harness away from
humidity and ultraviolet light,
Avoid any atmosphere that is
corrosive or excessively hot or
refrigerated.
CARABINER
Connector is compliant with standard
EN 362
When the carabiner is used for
attachment to an anchorage
point, check for compliance with
the recommendations of the
EN
"ANCHORAGE POINT”paragraph ;
It is also possible to use a runner (EN
795) or an anchoring clamp (EN 362)
to attach oneself to an anchorage
point.
WHEN CONNECTING THE
CARABINER, MAKE SURE THAT
THE LOCKING SYSTEM IS IN
PLACE.

The carabiner is an essential compo-
nent for your safety. We therefore ad-
vise you to:
Assign the connector to a single

Un harnais d’antichute est le seul dis-
positif de préhension du corps qu’il
soit permis d’utiliser dans un système
d’arrêt des chutes.
Il est nécessaire de s’assurer avant
toute utilisation, que les recomman-
dations propres à chaque élément
associé à ce produit telles que dénies
dans leurs notices sont respectées,
qu’ils respectent les normes euro-
péennes applicables ou, à défaut,
toute autre norme appropriée et, que
leurs fonctions de sécurité n’interfè-
rent pas entres-elles.
Lorsque cela est possible, il est forte-
ment conseillé d’attribuer personnel-
lement cet équipement à un seul et
même utilisateur.
Vériez que le produit que vous venez
d’acquérir est bien compatible avec
les recommandations des autres com-
posants du système.
En cours d’utilisation, protégez votre
EPI contre tout risque lié à l’environ-
nement de travail : choc thermique,
électrique ou mécanique, projection
d’acide, arêtes tranchantes etc. …

ATTENTION
Les activités en hauteur sont des
disciplines dangereuses qui peu-
vent provoquer des accidents et
des blessures graves. Nous vous
rappelons que vous assumez per-
sonnellement la responsabilité
en cas d'accident, de blessure ou
de décès pendant ou suite à l'uti-
lisation de nos produits, à vous-
même ou à une tierce personne.
L’utilisation de nos produits est
réservée à des personnes compé-
tentes, ayant suivi une formation
adéquate ou, sous la responsabi-
lité d’un supérieur compétent. En-
traînez-vous à l’usage de cet EPI et
assurez-vous d’avoir pleinement
compris son fonctionnement. En
cas de doute, ne prenez pas de
risque mais renseignez-vous ! Une
bonne condition physique est
obligatoire pour eectuer des tra-
vaux en hauteur. Certaines contre-
indications médicales peuvent
nuire à la sécurité de l’utilisateur
(prise de médicaments, problème
cardio-vasculaire…) lors de l’uti-
lisation normale de l'EPI et en
cas d’urgence. En cas de doute,
renseignez-vous auprès de votre
médecin.
CONFORME À LA NORME EN 361
Harnais d’antichute (en sangle, en
bres synthétiques, information
du matériau disponible sur le mar-
quage de l’équipement) avec ou sans
connecteurs (conforme à l’EN 362).
Un harnais d’antichute est des-
tiné à être utilisé en association avec
d’autres composants faisant partie
des systèmes individuels d’arrêt des
chutes (conforme à l’EN 363).
Pour lier de façon correcte le harnais
d’antichute à un point d’ancrage
(conforme à l’EN 795), nous vous
conseillons :
Pour l’élément d’accrochage dor-
sal de l’antichute du harnais de
connecter un absorbeur d’énergie
(conforme à l’EN 355) ou un
antichute à rappel automatique
(conforme à l’EN 360)
Pour l’élément d’accrochage tho-
racique de l’antichute du harnais
de connecter un antichute mobile
incluant un support d’assurage
(rigide conforme à l’EN 353-1,
flexible conforme à l’EN 353-2)

SUIVANT LA NORME EN 358
Elément(s) pouvant équiper un har-
nais d’antichute an de lui permettre
d’être utiliser comme ou avec un sys-
tème de maintien au travail ou de re-
tenue (conforme à l’EN 358)
En position de travail, l’ajustement
de la longe de maintien ne doit pas
permettre un déplacement libre su-
périeur à 0,50m. Cette longe doit être
maintenue tendue (cf. 11).
Le système de maintien au travail ou
de retenue ne doit pas être utilisé
pour l’arrêt des chutes.
MISE EN PLACE DU HARNAIS
D’ANTICHUTE
Pour enler facilement votre harnais,
nous vous recommandons de procé-
der comme suit (cf. 1) :
Saisir le harnais par le ”D” d’accro-
chage dorsal,
Enfilez les bretelles l'une après
l'autre
Se saisir des sangles cuissardes
par l’entrejambe pour venir les
verrouiller sur les boucles situées
de chaque côté des hanches.
Attention à ne pas croiser les cuis-
sardes,
Réglez les cuissardes en tirant ou
relâchant l'extrémité de la sangle
( cf. 2)
Si votre harnais en est équipé,
bouclez et ajustez la ceinture
(cf. 2). Pour les harnais équipés
d’un réglage de bretelles, ajustez
l'une après l'autre les bretelles en
tirant ou relâchant l'extrémité de
la sangle,
Fermez la sangle thoracique,
Relier les points d'accrochage
sternaux du harnais à l'aide d'un
connecteur (conforme à l'EN362)
en cas d'absence de sangle
thoracique
Pour qu'un harnais d'antichute soit
pleinement ecace, il doit être cor-
rectement ajusté (ni trop serré, ni trop
lâche). A noter : les harnais constitués
de sangles élastiques nécessitent un
réglage plus ajusté.
Après avoir ajusté votre harnais, vé-
riez une dernière fois qu’aucune
sangle n'est vrillée ou croisée, que
toutes les boucles sont correctement
verrouillées que le "D" dorsal est bien
situé au niveau des omoplates. Pour
une sécurité optimale, n'hésitez pas à
vous faire aider.
UTILISATION
L'accrochage du système d'arrêt des
chutes au harnais doit se faire OBLI-
GATOIREMENT et UNIQUEMENT par,
l’élément d'accrochage dorsal prévu
à cet eet (”D” ou prolonge d’accro-
chage en sangle) ( cf. 3 ) ou, par les
points d'accrochages thoraciques
(boucle en sangle ou ”D”) ( cf. 4 & 5 ).
L’utilisation des points d'accrochages
thoraciques doit se faire impérative-
ment par les deux points simultané-
ment. Les D de la ceinture, les points
d’accrochages ventraux doivent être
utilisés uniquement pour l'accrochage
d'un système de maintien au travail ou
de retenu et jamais avec un système
d’arrêt de chutes ( cf. 6 ). Lorsque
vous connecter une longe avec absor-
beur au prolongateur d'ancrage dor-
sal du harnais ( cf. J ), veillez à ce que la
longueur totale longe + prolongateur
+ connecteur n'excède pas 2 m.
En cours d’utilisation vérier réguliè-
rement les éléments de réglage et/ou
de xation.

pour l’arrêt des chutes.
MISE EN PLACE DU HARNAIS
D’ANTICHUTE
Pour enler facilement votre harnais,
nous vous recommandons de procé-
der comme suit (cf. 1) :
Saisir le harnais par le ”D” d’accro-
chage dorsal,
Enfilez les bretelles l'une après
l'autre
Se saisir des sangles cuissardes
par l’entrejambe pour venir les
verrouiller sur les boucles situées
de chaque côté des hanches.
Attention à ne pas croiser les cuis-
sardes,
Réglez les cuissardes en tirant ou
relâchant l'extrémité de la sangle
( cf. 2)
Si votre harnais en est équipé,
bouclez et ajustez la ceinture
(cf. 2). Pour les harnais équipés
d’un réglage de bretelles, ajustez
l'une après l'autre les bretelles en
tirant ou relâchant l'extrémité de
la sangle,
Fermez la sangle thoracique,
Relier les points d'accrochage
sternaux du harnais à l'aide d'un
connecteur (conforme à l'EN362)
en cas d'absence de sangle
thoracique
Pour qu'un harnais d'antichute soit
pleinement ecace, il doit être cor-
rectement ajusté (ni trop serré, ni trop
lâche). A noter : les harnais constitués
de sangles élastiques nécessitent un
réglage plus ajusté.
Après avoir ajusté votre harnais, vé-
riez une dernière fois qu’aucune
sangle n'est vrillée ou croisée, que
toutes les boucles sont correctement
verrouillées que le "D" dorsal est bien
situé au niveau des omoplates. Pour
une sécurité optimale, n'hésitez pas à
vous faire aider.
UTILISATION
L'accrochage du système d'arrêt des
chutes au harnais doit se faire OBLI-
GATOIREMENT et UNIQUEMENT par,
l’élément d'accrochage dorsal prévu
à cet eet (”D” ou prolonge d’accro-
chage en sangle) ( cf. 3 ) ou, par les
points d'accrochages thoraciques
(boucle en sangle ou ”D”) ( cf. 4 & 5 ).
L’utilisation des points d'accrochages
thoraciques doit se faire impérative-
ment par les deux points simultané-
ment. Les D de la ceinture, les points
d’accrochages ventraux doivent être
utilisés uniquement pour l'accrochage
d'un système de maintien au travail ou
de retenu et jamais avec un système
d’arrêt de chutes ( cf. 6 ). Lorsque
vous connecter une longe avec absor-
beur au prolongateur d'ancrage dor-
sal du harnais ( cf. J ), veillez à ce que la
longueur totale longe + prolongateur
+ connecteur n'excède pas 2 m.
En cours d’utilisation vérier réguliè-
rement les éléments de réglage et/ou
de xation.

VERIFICATION
Avant chaque utilisation, il y a lieu de
procéder à un examen visuel appro-
fondi an de s'assurer de l'intégrité de
l’EPI ainsi que tout autre équipement
pouvant lui être associé (connecteur,
longe…) et, de prendre des disposi-
tions concernant la mise en oeuvre
d’un éventuel sauvetage en toute
sécurité. En cas de contamination de
votre produit consulter le fabricant ou
son mandataire. Si vous émettez des
doutes quant à l’état de sûreté d'un
produit ou si le produit a été utilisé
pour arrêter une chute, il est essentiel
pour votre sécurité que l’EPI soit retiré
du service et qu'il soit renvoyé au fa-
bricant ou à un centre de réparation
qualié pour vérication ou, destruc-
tion. Après examen, le centre délivrera
ou non une autorisation écrite pour
réutiliser l’EPI. Il est strictement inter-
dit de modier ou de réparer vous-
même un EPI, seul le fabricant ou un
centre de réparation est habilité à ef-
fectuer ces réparations.
Vériez l'état de service du harnais (cf.
7 ) :
L’absence d'amorce de rupture de
la sangle,
L’absence de déformation des ”D”,
Le bon fonctionnement du
bouclage,
L’intégrité des coutures,
Le bon état des éléments
métalliques.
TIRANT D’AIR
S'il y a risque de chute ou si l’an-
crage ne peut se faire qu’au-dessous
du point d’accrochage du harnais, il
convient d’utiliser impérativement
une longe munie d’un absorbeur
d’énergie. Vériez avant l’utilisation
d’un absorbeur d’énergie intégré à
une longe l’existence d'un tirant d'air
minimal nécessaire sous les pieds de
l'utilisateur, an d'éviter toute colli-
sion avec la structure ou le sol. Avec
une masse de 100 kg et une situation
de facteur de chute deux (cas le plus
défavorable), le tirant d'air D est la dis-
tance d'arrêt H (2L+1,75m) plus une
distance supplémentaire de 1m. ( cf.8
).Attention si le harnais est muni d'un
prolongateur en tenir compte dans le
calcul du tirant d'air.
EXAMEN PERIODIQUE
Ces instructions doivent être conser-
vées avec le produit, renseignez la
che d’identication en reportant les
informations du marquage. Cet exa-
men périodique vériant l’ecacité
et la résistance de l’équipement est
indispensable an de garantir la sé-
curité de l’utilisateur. Cet équipement
doit être examiné, au moins une fois
par an, par une personne compétente
et dans le respect strict du fabricant,
la vérication devant être enregistrée
sur la che en annexe. La fréquence
d’examen doit être augmentée en
fonction de la réglementation, dans
le cas d’une utilisation importante ou
dans des conditions environnemen-
tales diciles.
La lisibilité des marquages du produit
devra être vériée.
DURÉE DE VIE
On estime la durée de vie maximale
de l'EPI à dominante textile à 10 ans
à partir de la date de fabrication.
Cependant, les facteurs suivants
peuvent réduire la performance du
produit et sa durée de vie : mauvais
stockage, mauvaise utilisation, arrêt
d’une chute, déformation mécanique,
mise en contact avec des produits
chimiques (acides et basiques), expo-
sition à de fortes sources de chaleur >
60°C ( cf.9).
POINT D'ANCRAGE
Utiliser si possible des dispositifs
d'ancrage (conforme à l’ EN 795) ou
bien des ancres structurelles.c’est à
dire des éléments xé durablement
sur une structure ( mur, poteau…).
Vériez dans tous les cas que le point
d’ancrage :
A une résistance minimum de
12 kN,
Est situé au-dessus de l’opérateur
(cf. 10 ).
Se trouve dans l’axe vertical
du plan de travail : (angle
maxi±30°),
S’adapte parfaitement au disposi-
tif d’accrochage de l’équipement.

Die Nichtbeachtung der in diesen
Anweisungen enthaltenen Maßre-
geln kann schwere Auswirkungen zur

len, dass die Hinweise entsprechend
den Gebrauchsanweisungen der ein-
zelnen Zusatzteile zu diesem Produkt,
die gültigen europäischen Normen
bzw. jede sonstige zutreende Norm
eingehalten werden und die jeweili-
gen Sicherheitsfunktionen sich nicht
gegenseitig beeinträchtigen.
Es wird dringend empfohlen, diese
Ausrüstung möglichst ein und dem-
selben Benutzer persönlich zuzuwei-
sen.
Prüfen Sie, ob das neu erworbene Pro-
dukt auch mit den Empfehlungen der
übrigen Teile des Sicherungssystems
kompatibel ist.

Medikamenten, Herz-Kreislauf-
Beschwerden usw. ) kann auch
die normale Anwendung des EPI
gesundheitsschädigend sein. In
Zweifelsfällen vorher einen Arzt
dazu befragen.
ERFÜLLT DIE NORM EN 361
Fallschutzgeschirr (aus Gurtband,
Kunstfaser, Materialhinweis auf der
Ausrüstungskennzeichnung) mit oder
ohne Verbindungselementen (gem.
EN 362).
Ein Fallschutzgeschirr ist für den Ein-
satz zusammen mit anderen Einzeltei-
len vorgesehen, die zu einem persön-
lichen Auangsystem gehören (gem.
EN 363).
Für die ordnungsmäßige Befestigung
des Fallschutzgeschirres an einem
Anschlagpunkt (gem. EN 795) emp-
fehlen wir:
bei der rückenseitigen Auan-
göse des Fallschutzgeschirres einen
Falldämpfer (gem. EN 355) oder ein
Höhensicherungsgerät (gem. EN 360)
anzuschließen.
bei der brustseitigen Auangöse
des Fallschutzgeschirres ein mit-
laufendes Auanggerät mit Siche-
rungsträger (starr gem. EN 353-1, exi-
bel gem. EN 353-2) anzuschließen.
ZUSATZELEMENTE GEMÄSS NORM

Zusatzelement(e) zur Ausstattung
eines Fallschutzgeschirres, um es als
oder in Verbindung mit einem Halteo-
der Rückhaltesystem (gem. EN 358) zu
benutzen.
In Arbeitsposition muss das Verbin-
dungsmittel so justiert sein, dass eine
freie Bewegung von mehr als 0,50 m
verhindert wird. Dieses Verbindungs-
mittel muss stra gehalten werden
(siehe 11).
Das Arbeits-Halte- oder Rückhalte-
system darf nicht dazu dienen, einen
Sturz aufzufangen.
ANLEGEN DES AUFFANGGURTES
Zum Anlegen des Fallschutzgeschirres
empfehlen wir folgende Methode
(siehe 1):
Fallschutzgeschirr am rückenseiti-
gen ”D”-Ring erfassen,
Nacheinander die Schulter-
gurtbänder überziehen,
Oberschenkelgurtbänder im
Schritt erfassen und in den Schnallen
beidseitig der Hüften sichern. Da-
rauf achten, dass die Oberschenkel-
gurtbänder nicht verkreuzt sind.
Oberschenkelgurtbänder durch
Ziehen bzw. Lockern der Gurten-
den regulieren (siehe 2).
Soweit an Ihrem Fallschutzges-
chirr vorhanden, den Hüftgurt
schließen und regulieren (siehe
2), Bei Fallschutzgeschirren mit
Einstellmöglichkeit der Schulter-
gurtbänder diese nacheinander
durch Ziehen bzw. Lockern der
Gurtenden regulieren.
Falls vorhanden, das Brustgurt-
band schließen,
Brustbefestigungspunkte des
Fallschutzgeschirres mit einem
Verbindungselement (gem. EN
362) schließen.
Um absolut zuverlässig zu sein, muss
ein Fallschutzgeschirr richtig sitzen
(nicht zu fest und nicht zu locker).
Hinweis: Fallschutzgeschirre mit elas-
tischen Gurtbändern müssen fester
justiert werden.
Wenn Sie Ihr Fallschutzgeschirr jus-
tiert haben, bitte ein letztes Mal prü-
fen, ob keine Gurtbänder verdreht
oder verkreuzt, alle Schnallen richtig
verriegelt sind und der rückenseitige
"D"-Ring sich auf Höhe der Schulter-
blätter bendet. Zögern Sie nicht,
sich zur Gewährleistung optimaler Si-
cherheit helfen zu lassen.
BENUTZUNG
Die Befestigung des Auangsystems
am Fallschutzgeschirr muss UNBE-
DINGT und AUSSCHLIESSLICH an
der dazu bestimmten rückenseitigen
Halteöse (”D”-Ring oder Verlänge-
rung im Gurtband; siehe 3) oder an
den Brustbefestigungspunkten (Gurt-
bandschnalle oder ”D”-Ring; siehe 4
u. 5) erfolgen. Die Brustbefestigungs-
punkte müssen unbedingt immer

chutzöse dürfen nur zur Befestigung

systems benutzt werden, jedoch nie-
mals für ein Auangsystem (siehe 6).

Vor jedem Einsatz muss eine genaue
visuelle Prüfung durchgeführt wer-
den, um sich von der Unversehrtheit
der PSA sowie jeder anderen Ein-
richtung zu vergewissern, die damit
verbunden sein kann (Verbinder,
Leine...), und es müssen Vorkehrun-
gen für eine eventuelle Rettung in
völliger Sicherheit getroen werden.
Bei Kontamination Ihres Produktes
wenden Sie sich bitte an den Herstel-
ler oder seinen Beauftragten. Falls Sie
Zweifel am Sicherheitszustand eines
Produktes haben oder das Produkt
zum Auangen eines Sturzes gedient
hat, ist es für Ihre Sicherheit absolut
notwendig, die PSA aus dem Betrieb
zu nehmen und dem Hersteller oder
einer zugelassenen Reparaturstelle
zur Überprüfung oder Vernichtung zu
übergeben. Nach der Untersuchung
muss diese Stelle eine schriftliche Er-
laubnis zur Wiederverwendung der
PSA ausstellen oder verweigern. Es
ist streng untersagt, selbst eine PSA
zu verändern oder zu reparieren; nur
der Hersteller oder eine Reparaturs-
telle ist befugt, diese Reparaturen
auszuführen.
Den Tauglichkeitszustand des Falls-
chutzgeschirrs überprüfen (siehe 7):
Keine einsetzenden Rissstellen
am Gurt,
Keine verbogenen ”D”-Ringe,
Einwandfreies Schließen der
Schnallen,
Unversehrtheit der Nähte,
Einwandfreier Zustand der
Metallteile.
LICHTE HÖHE
Bei Sturzgefahr oder wenn die Ve-
rankerung nur unterhalb des Befes-
tigungspunktes des Fallschutzges-
chirrs ausgeführt werden kann, muss
unbedingt ein Verbindungsmittel
mit Falldämpfer benutzt werden. Vor
Benutzung eines Falldämpfers in ei-
nem Verbindungsmittel stets prüfen,
ob unter den Füßen des Benutzers die
erforderliche minimale lichte Höhe vo-
rhanden ist, um jeglichen Aufprall auf
Bauteile oder den Boden zu verhin-
dern. Bei einem Gewicht von 100 kg
und einem Sturzfaktor zwei (ungüns-
tigster Fall) setzt sich die lichte Höhe D
aus der Auangstrecke H (2L+1,75m)
und einer Zusatzstrecke von 1m zu-
sammen. (Siehe. 8). Achtung: Wenn
das Geschirr mit einer Verlängerung
ausgestattet ist, müssen Sie diese bei
der Berechnung der Bodenfreiheit
berücksichtigen.
REGELMÄSSIGE ÜBERPRÜFUNG
Diese Anweisungen müssen bei dem
Produkt aufbewahrt werden. Füllen
Sie bitte die Kontrollkarte aus, indem
Sie die Angaben aus der Produktmar-
kierung übernehmen. Diese regel-
mäßige Untersuchung, welche die
Wirksamkeit und die Haltbarkeit der
Ausrüstung feststellt, ist unerlässlich
zur Gewährleistung der Sicherheit
des Benutzers. Diese Ausrüstung
muss mindestens einmal jährlich un-
ter genauer Beachtung der Herstelle-
ranweisungen durch einen Fachmann
überprüft werden; die Prüfung ist auf
der Kontrollkarte gem. Anlage zu ver-
merken. Die Häugkeit der Untersu-
chungen muss erhöht werden gemäß
den Vorschriften, im Falle eines wichti-
gen Einsatzes oder unter schwierigen
Umgebungsbedingungen.
Die Lesbarkeit der Aufschriften des
Produktes muss überprüft werden.
LEBENSDAUER
Die maximale Lebensdauer von PSA
mit textilem Hauptanteil wird auf
10 Jahre ab dem Fertigungsdatum
geschätzt. Folgende Faktoren kön-
nen die Leistungsfähigkeit des Pro-
duktes und seine Lebensdauer jedoch
schmälern: schlechte Lagerung, unsa-
chgemäße Benutzung, Auang eines
Sturzes, mechanische Verformung,
Berührung mit chemischen Stoen
(Säuren und Basen), Einwirken starker
Wärmequellen > 60°C.
ANSCHLAGPUNKT
Nach Möglichkeit zusammenmit Ve-
rankerungen (gemäß EN 795) oder
Dübel verwenden., d.h. dauerhaft
an einer Struktur (Mauer, Pfosten...)
befestigte Elemente. Auf jeden Fall
darauf achten, dass der Anschlag-
punkt (außer Sonderfällen: siehe pro-
duktspezische Hinweise) :
eine Mindestbelastbarkeit von
12kN aufweist,
sich oberhalb der zu sichernden
Person befindet (siehe 10),
in der Senkrechten zur Arbeitse-
bene liegt: (maximaler Winkel ±
30°),
für die Befestigungsvorrichtung
der Ausrüstung geeignet ist.

adquirido un Equipo de Protección In-
dividual (EPI). Para que se sienta satis-
fecho con este producto, le pedimos
que, ANTES DE CADA UTILIZACIÓN,
siga las instrucciones de este manual.
No respetar las consignas descritas
en este manual podría acarrear reper-
cusiones graves, le aconsejamos que
vuelva a leer las instrucciones perió-
dicamente. Además, el fabricante o su
mandatario rehúsan toda responsabi-
lidad en caso de utilización, almacena-
miento o mantenimiento efectuados
de manera distinta a la que se ha des-
crito en este manual.

En caso de que el producto se revenda
fuera del primer país de destino, por
seguridad para el usuario, el revende-
dor deberá suministrar en el idioma
del país de utilización del producto:
las instrucciones de
mantenimiento;
las instrucciones para las revi-
siones periódicas;
las instrucciones relativas a las
reparaciones;
la información adicional de requi-
sitos específicos del equipo.
Un arnés contra caídas es el único dis-
positivo de sujeción del cuerpo que
está permitido utilizar en un sistema
de parada de caídas.
Antes de cualquier utilización, es ne-
cesario asegurarse de que se respe-
ten las recomendaciones correspon-
dientes a cada accesorio asociado a
este producto tal y como están de-
nidos en sus respectivos manuales,
que respeten las normativas europeas
aplicables o en su defecto, cualquier
otra normativa apropiada y que sus
funciones de seguridad no intereran
entre ellas.
Cuando sea posible, se aconseja r-
memente atribuir personalmente el
EPI a un solo usuario.
Vericar que el producto que acaba
de comprar sea compatible con las
recomendaciones de los otros com-
ponentes del sistema anticaída.
Durante el uso, proteger el EPI contra
todo riesgo relacionado con el en-
torno de trabajo : choques térmicos,
eléctricos o mecánicos, salpicaduras
de ácidos, aristas aladas, etc.
INSTRUCCIÓN DE UTILIZACIÓN
ES
ATENCIÓN
Las actividades realizadas en al-
tura son disciplinas peligrosas
que pueden provocar accidentes
y heridas graves. Le recordamos
que usted asume personalmente
la responsabilidad en caso de ac-
cidente, herida o fallecimiento
durante o consecutivamente a la
utilización de nuestros productos,
por usted o por una tercera perso-
na. La utilización de nuestros pro-
ductos está reservada a personas
competentes que hayan cursado
una formación adecuada o, que
se encuentren bajo la responsa-
bilidad de un superior capacitado.
Prepárese para el uso de este EPI
y asegúrese de que ha comprendi-
do totalmente su funcionamiento.
En caso de duda, no se arriesgue
lo más mínimo e infórmese. Es
obligatorio estar en buena condi-
ción física para efectuar trabajos
en altura. Ciertas contraindica-
ciones médicas pueden ir contra la
seguridad del usuario (ingesta de
medicamentos, problema cardio-
vascular…) durante la utilización
normal de la EPI y en caso de ur-
gencia. En caso de duda, consulte
con su médico.
DE CONFORMIDAD CON LA NORMA:
EN 361
Arnés contra caídas (con correas, de -
bras sintéticas, información del mate-
rial disponible en la etiqueta del equi-
po) con o sin conectores (conforme a
EN 362).
Un arnés contra caídas está destinado
a ser utilizado en asociación con otros
componentes formando parte de los
sistemas individuales de parada de
caídas (conforme a EN 363).
Para unir de manera correcta el arnés
contra caídas a un punto de anclaje,
(conforme a EN 795), le aconsejamos:
Que conecte al elemento de
enganche dorsal del anticaída
del arnés un freno absorbente de
energía cinética (conforme a EN
355) o bien un anticaída retráctil
(conforme a EN 360).
Que conecte al elemento de
enganche torácico del anticaída
del arnés un anticaída móvil que
incluya un soporte de seguridad
(rígido conforme a EN 353-1,
flexible conforme a EN 353-2).
ELEMENTOS COMPLEMENTARIOS
CONFORMES A LA NORMA: EN 358
Elemento(s) que pueden equipar un
arnés contra caídas para que se pue-
da utilizar como o con un sistema de
mantenimiento al trabajo o de reten-
ción (conforme a EN 358).
En posición de trabajo, el ajuste del
cabestro de mantenimiento no debe
permitir que se produzca un movi-
miento libre superior a 0,50 m. Este ca-
bestro debe mantenerse tenso (cf.11).
El sistema de mantenimiento al tra-
bajo o de retención no se debe utilizar
para la parada de caídas.
INSTALACIÓN DEL ARNÉS CONTRA
CAÍDAS
Para colocarse fácilmente el arnés,
recomendamos proceder de la si-
guiente manera (cf. 1) :
Coja el arnés por la "D" de
enganche dorsal.
Coloque los tirantes, uno por uno.
Coja las correas para las botas de
cadera por la entrepierna para
bloquearlas en los bucles localiza-
dos en cada lado de las caderas.
Asegúrese de no cruzar las botas
de cadera.
Ajuste las botas de cadera tirando
o aflojando el extremo de la
correa (cf. 2).
Cierre y ajuste el cinturón, si su
arnés posee uno, ate y ajuste el
cinturón (cf. 2).
Para los arneses equipados con
ajuste de tirantes, ajústelos
tirando o aflojando el extremo de
la correa.
Cierre la correa torácica si el arnés
posee una.
Una los puntos de enganche
torácicos del arnés mediante un
conector (conforme a EN 362).
Para que el arnés contra caídas sea
plenamente ecaz debe ajustarse
correctamente (no muy apretado ni
muy ojo). Nota : los arneses de cin-
chas elásticas requieren un ajuste más
apretado.
Una vez ajustado el arnés, verique
por última vez que ninguna correa
esté retorcida ni cruzada, que todos
los bucles estén correctamente blo-
queados y que la "D" dorsal esté cor-
rectamente ubicada a la altura de los
omóplatos. Para mayor seguridad, no
dude en solicitar ayuda.
UTILIZACIÓN
El enganche del sistema de parada
de caídas al arnés debe efectuarse
OBLIGATORIA y ÚNICAMENTE por
medio de la "D" de enganche dorsal
prevista a tal efecto (cf. 3) o los pun-
tos de enganche torácicos (bucle de la
"D") (cf. 4 y 5). Los puntos de enganche
torácicos para la sujeción del sistema
de parada de caída deben utilizarse
imperativamente por los dos puntos
simultáneamente. Las D del cinturón,
los puntos de enganche del vientre
deben utilizarse únicamente para el
enganche de un sistema de mante-
nimiento durante el trabajo y nunca
con un sistema de parada de caídas
(cf. 6). Si se conecta una correa con
absorbente de energía al prolongador
de enganche dorsal del arnés (Cf. J),
hay que procurar que la longitud total
correa + prolongador + conector no
supere los 2 metros.
En el transcurso de la utilización com-
pruebe regularmente los elementos
de ajuste y/o de jación.
