RemovingtheBatteryandSIMCard
Makesure thatyourphoneis poweredoff.
ChargingtheBattery
1. Connectthecharger to thecharger interface atthebottomofyour
phone.
2. Connectthecharger to anACpower socket
3. Duringthecharging, thechargingicon is displayinginanimation.
4. Whenthechargingicon becomesstatic, thebatteryis fully
charged. Disconnectthecharger fromtheACpower socket. If the
phoneis poweredoff, itwill informyou with themessageof
"Fullycharged"displayedonthescreen.
5. Disconnectthecharger fromthephone.

Note Whenyou starttochargeacompletelydischargedbattery,
thechargingindicatormayappear onthescreenseveral
minuteslater.Youcanpower onthephoneto makeand
receivecallsuntilltheindicatorappears.
UsingtheFunctionMenu
1. Inthestandbymode,press (Menu)to displaythemenu
interface.
2. Press toscrolltoamenu item.
3. Press (Select)to displaythemenu.
4. Displaythesubmenu ineither oftheways:

MakingaCall
1. Inthestandbymode, enter aphonenumber.
Tomakeaninternationalcall, enter theprefix and thephone
number asfollows:Press twice continuously, and "+"
appears. Thenenter thenumber tobedialed, intheformatof
"countrycode+region code+phonenumber".
2. Press tomakethephonecall.
3. Press toendanactivecall orstop dialing.

AnsweringaCall
Whenthere is anincomingcall, you canpress toanswer it;

lIfthe Anykeyanswer function is enabled, youcanpress anyke

lIfthe Call forwarding functionis enabled, any
incomingcall will
bedivertedto aspecifiednumber. Forexample, divertthe
incomingcallsto yourvoice mailbox. Whenanincomingcall is
refused, thecallwill bedivertedtoo.
Security
There are anumber ofsecurityfeaturesprovidedto protectagainst
anyunauthorizeduseofyourSIMcardand somecertainfeatures.
With theoptionsof On, Off and ChangePIN1, youcansetwhether
aPersonalIdentification Number (PIN)is requestedwhilethephone
is switchedon,oredityourPINcode.
If PINControl is activated, yourphonewill ask forthePINthenext
timeyou switchon thephone.

andPUK
Thepersonalidentitynumber (PIN)protectsyourSIMcardfrom
unauthorizeduse.Thepersonalunlockingkey(PUK)canunblock
theblockedPIN. Both PINand PUKare deliveredwith theS
IMcard.
Fordetails, consult yourservice provider.
Ifyou enter wrongPINs foraspecifiednumber oftimes
consecutively, thephoneasks you to enter thePUK code.
Ifyou enter wrongPUKsforaspecifiednumber oftimes
consecutively, theSIMcardis invalidatedpermanently. Contactyour
service provider foranewcard.
LockingtheKeypad
Inthestandbymode,press for3secondsto lockthekeypad.
Whenthekeypadis locked, youcanpress toanswer an
incomingcall ormakeemergencycalls.
You canpress then tounlockthekeypad.
Whenthe Keypadlock functionis enabled, ifthere is no operation
on thephoneforapresetperiodinthestandbymode,thekeypadis
lockedautomatically.

Theindicatorofthecurrent textinputmodeis displayedonthe
screen. Intheeditingmode, press tochangetheinputmode.

1. Press eachkeyonlyonce accordingto thespellingsequence of
thedesiredword. Thenthephonedisplays thecommonlyused
wordaccordingto thenumericsequence ofkeypresses.
2. Press toscrolltothedesiredword.
3. Press toswitchtheselectedcharactersbetweenupper case
and lower case.

manufacturer to confirmwhether theradiowaveaffectsthe

lPacemaker manufacturersrecommend thataminimumseparation
of15cmbemaintainedbetweenamobilephoneandapacemaker
to avoidpotentialinterference with thepacemaker.Toachievethis,
usethephoneon theoppositeear to yourpacemaker and do not

Hospital
Payattentionto thefollowingpointsinhospitalsorhealth care

lDonottakeyourphoneintotheoperatingroom(OR), intensive
care unit(ICU), orcoronarycare unit(CCU).
lDonotuseyourphoneatplacesformedicaltreatment where
phoneuseis prohibited.
lWhenusingyourphonenear someonewhois sufferingfroma
heartdisease, turndowntheringtonevolumeorvibration
properlysothatitdoesnotaffecttheperson.
Area withInflammables and Explosives
Inanyarea with inflammablesand explosives, power off yourphone
and do nottakeout, installorchargethebattery, toavoidexplosion
and fire.Areaswith inflammablesand explosivesinclude,butare not

collision.
lUsethephoneafter thevehiclestopsatasafeplace.
lIfyourphonesupportsthehands-free function,orthephonecan
beusedwith earphones,orthere is anyvehicle-mounted
equipment with thehands-free function,usetheminemergency.

floppydisks near thephone. Radiation fromthephonemayerase
theinformation storedonthem.
lDonotput yourphone,battery, orotheraccessoriesincontainers
with strongmagneticfield, suchasaninduction cooker anda
microwaveoven. Otherwise, circuitfailure, fire, orexplosion may
occur.
lDonotleaveyourphone, battery, orcharger inaveryhot orcold
place. Otherwise,malfunction oftheproducts, fire, orexplosion
mayoccur.
lKeeptheambient temperature between0 and45℃whilethe
batteryis beingcharged. Keeptheambient temperature between
20℃and60℃forstoringthebattery. If theambient
temperature is toolow(especiallybelow0℃)ortoo high, the
capacityand lifeofthebatterywill bereduced.
lDonotplace sharpmetalobjectssuchaspinsnear theearpiece.
Theearpiece mayattracttheseobjectsandhurtyouwhenyouare
usingthephone.
lDonotsubjectyourphone,battery, and charger to serious
collision orshock. Otherwise, batteryleakage, phonemalf
unction,
overheat, fire, orexplosion mayoccur.

maycauseskinallergy. Once ithappens, stop usingthephoneat

lKeeptheplugdrywhenyou cleanit,to prevent fire.
lIfthephoneoranyofitsfittingsdoesnot work,turntothelocal
authorize service center forhelp.
lDonotdismantlethemobilephoneoraccessories. Onlyan
