Overview
1
To safely operate this unit, read and follow all instructions carefully. Read this manual
thoroughly before attempting to unpack, install, or operate. You may keep this quick guide for
further reference.
1. The unit must be used indoor only.
2. Do not place the unit near liquid or in an excessively damp environment.
3. Do not place the unit directly in the sun or near a hot source.
4. Do not let liquid or foreign objects enter the unit.
5. Ground the unit using a 2P + ground outlet.
6. When installing the unit, ensure that the sum of the leakage currents of the unit and the
devices it powers does not exceed 3.5 mA.

Quick Guide
Remove the unit from the shipping package and check it for damage that may occur during
transportation. Notify the carrier and place of purchase if any damage is found. The shipping
package contains:
•PDU & Maintenance bypass switch module x 1
•Packing list x 1
•Quick guide x 1
•Screws and mounting brackets
•Mains power cord x 1
•Power cord for 1 kVA/2 kVA UPS x 2
•Power cord for 3 kVA UPS x 3
•Output power cables x 2

4 Connecting the UPS
4.1
1. Connect a power cable from UPS input to UPS input outlet on the unit. Use another power
cable to connect UPS output to UPS output outlet on the unit.
2. Refer to cable connection of UPS2000-G-2KRTL when connecting UPS2000-G-
1KRTL/1KRTS/2KRTS. Refer to cable connection of UPS2000-G-3KRTL when connecting
UPS2000-G-3KRTS.
3. 3 kVA UPS output form factor (terminal or C20) varies with different actual models.

Plug Peripherals into Slave Outlets
When the computer is turned off, the master outlet shuts off power to the slave outlets.
However, when the computer goes into sleep mode or the power consumption of connected
device to the master outlet is below 10 W, the master outlet may not properly recognize the
reduced power level.
NOTE
NOTICE
Plug the input power cable of the unit to the wall outlet. The Power indicator will light up when
the mains is normal. The Power indicator will turn off when there is a power failure.
1. The master/slave function is disabled by default. Ensure that the master/slave function switch is
on the disable status before operation.
2. Only when the master/slave function is enabled, loads connected to slave outlets will be shut
down after load is detected lower than 10 W in master outlet.
3. Master/slave function operation:
After connecting all devices to the unit, turn the master/slave function switch to the enable status.
The slave on indicator will light up when the load connected to master outlet is above 30 W.
Turn the master/slave function switch to the disable status, the function is disabled and the slave
on indicator will be on.

Before transferring to maintenance bypass, ensure that the Power indicator is on. Transfer the
rotary bypass switch from UPS to MBS. At this time, all connected devices are powered by the
mains directly. Turn off the UPS and disconnect two cables connected to the UPS. Then you
can maintain the UPS.
After maintaining the UPS, ensure that the UPS operates properly. Reconnect the UPS to the
unit by following the installation section. Verify that the Power indicator is on. Turn on the UPS,
then transfer the rotary bypass switch from MBS to UPS. All connected devices are protected by
the UPS.
