Management System is in compliance with US
21 CFR part 820.
The product is CE marked in accordance with EU
Direcve 93/42/EEC (MDD) and/or EU Regula-
on 2017/745 (MDR), as class I medical device.
The CE mark is on the product.
This sling has been tested in accordance with
ISO 10535.

Useful informaon
a) Service manual
The service manual is created for technicians
involved in servicing of Diana II Comfort 4ESB
mobile li. Safe performance of mobile li ser-
vice procedures requires experience, technical
skills and general knowledge of safety rules.
This manual uses warnings and cauons to pay
special aenon to service procedures.
Warning – this informaon tells us about the
possibility of safety risk of technicians
and user.
Cauon – this informaon tells us about acons
that can cause potenal damage of the
li.
b) Diana II Comfort 4ESB installaon and
operang
For installaon and operaon of the li, see the
user manual.
c) Service of Diana II Comfort 4ESB mobile
li
The service can be only made by Human Care’s
authorized service team or authorized units by
Human Care.
Humam Care shall bear no responsibility for the
consequences of repairs or modicaons that
have been done by unauthorized personnel and
for the use of non-original replacement parts
dedicated by Human Care for mobile lis.
d) Service documentaon
Service documentaon and service repair
document are available on a website accessible
for authorized service.
e) Safety precauons
The mobile li design provides maximum of
safety. Safety of the device are ensured by
safety standards IEC60601-1.
Read these cauons carefully before
start servicing!
Note - do not perform service repairs
and funconal tesng when the client is
on the device.
f) Addional informaon
In case of any problems with the li, contact
the intermediary or manufacturer’s service.

Tools & Maintenance
The service manual contains informaon about
repairing, maintaining and idencaon of the
mobile li. The li can be idened by using
the idencaon code which is placed on the
name plate.
Note – if the plug from baery charger
does not match a socket in your country,
you can use an adapter.
Tools
Standard set of tools is required for servicing of
the mobile li:
Allen key set
Ordinary set of various keys
Flat screwdriver
Hammer
Volt meter

Device maintaining
All movable joints must be lubricated every six
months or when experiencing squeaks or other
noise. These nodes are:
• axle transport wheels,
• axle actuator mounng,
• jib arm bearing sleeve.
We recommend using any available penetrang
lubricants.
Report all loose connecons that are supposed
to be xed to the manufacturer’s authorized
service agent and stop using the product unl
the problem is resolved.
This device is equipped with electric actuator
which allows to adjust the height of the jib
arm. In order to ensure proper performance of
the actuators check the actuators for unusual
sounds every 3 months. These unusual sounds
contain rales, squeaks, creaks. Any perceived
performance deciency must be reported to
Human Care technical service immediately cea-
sing device operaon unl remove their causes.
Not less frequently than every 1 years and aer
each failure/repair of actuator technical service
must check the li for electric safety.
The minimal range of the review should include:
• check if there were no mechanical wiring
damages of the device,
• check if there were no mechanical damages
of the control box and the actuators.
See checklist in user manual.
Basic periodic review
One year aer producon date or every 8000
cycles of using the li, the indicator lamp light
up.
If this LED is on, operator must check condion
of the li (cables connecons, looseness on the
frame etc.).
Press and hold “up” and “down” buon for 5
sec., to turn o the light aer review.

Troubleshoong
Symptom Possible cause - soluon
Device doesn’t work properly. Diagnose the mobile li.
Height adjustment doesn’t work. Replace main actuator.
The base legs doesn’t spread. Replace boom actuator.
Holder is not working. Replace holder actuator.
Problem with moving device. Check/replace castors.
Troubleshoong & Solving
Diagnose the mobile li
In case of problems with height adjustment,
please complete following steps:
Step 1:
• Check the baery level on the hand control.
If any led is lighng, please check the baery
with a voltmeter,
• If the baery is empty, please charge it,
• If aer a few hours the baery is sll empty,
please check if the charger is working cor-
rectly by using the voltmeter. If the charger
is ok, you have to replace the baery for a
new one.
Step 2:
If the baery level is correct, check that the
wires are connected properly to the control box
in the boom part of the device.

Step 3:
If everything looks good for so far, but the devi-
ce sll doesn’t work, for further diagnose, spare
parts will be necessary (hand control, control
box and actuator).
• At rst, replace the hand control for a new
one (or switch with another device if pos-
sible) and check,
• Next, prepare a control box and connect it
with slots from the device,
• Now test what is wrong: control box, hand
control or actuator.
Note – in case of the situaon that one
of actuators is not working, make sure
that problem is with the actuator, by
swapping the wires 1 and 2 for actuators
in the control box and use the remo-
te control to test (a working actuator
means a faulty controller).
Step 4:
To remove the control box, just loosen two
main screws and li up whole holder with
control box.

Replace main actuator
Cauon - Following procedures require turn
down device on aside. To protect it from any
damage or scratches we strongly recommend to
prepare some kind of protecon (card boards,
sponges, etc.) on the oor.
Step 1:
Take out blockade from plug with small
screwdriver and take out the plug.

Step 2:
Use a at screwdriver to remove the star lock
cap and circlips from the upper rod holding the
actuator (from only one side of the pin) and
remove the pin. Do the same operaon for the
second connecon actuator of the frame.
Step 3:
Remove old and install the new actuator in the
reverse order to dismounng, carefully ghten
the gland.
