Preface
First of all, thanks a lot for using IconBIT digital products!
IconBIT HMP605 HDMI is a media player with a 6″ screen, 800×480 screen resolution.
It supports component video output capability + infrared remote control operation. It also supports multi-format video, such as
RMVB, RM, FLV, MOV, DAT, MPEG, MP4, PMP, MKV, VOB, AVI, 3GP, and MP3, WMA, WAV, APE, FLAC, AAC, OGG audio
formats.
IconBIT HMP605 HDMI supports OTG function (USB-OTG port). OTG (On-The-Go) allows for devices that generally fulfill the
role of being slave USB device to a USB host to become the host themselves when paired with another USB device.
IconBIT HMP605 HDMI supports HDMI output, the application only need is one HDMI cable, it can simultaneously transmit
audio and video signals, and because the audio / video using the same cable that dramatically simplifies home theater system
installation

IV. Note
This manual contains important safety measures and the information of use this product correctly, in order to avoid using
improperly, please read the manual carefully before use it.
Never use the machine in specially cold, hot, dusty and moist environment.
Battery life will vary as the conditions and environment of use.
Please charge the battery in time if any following conditions occurs:
a) The battery icon is empty.
b) The system powers it off automatically and again shortly after being powered on or could not be powered on
c) There is no respond when operate the keys.
When the machine is formatting, uploading or downloading documents, do not disconnect it suddenly, otherwise it will
probably lead to player failure. We are not responsible for any document losses incurred by damage and repair the
machine or other reasons.
There might be some differences in different software and hardware of the product performance and functionality. Thus
changes will not notice. The company reserves the right to improve the product.

VI. Basic operations
Switch
Turn on power: press button about 2 seconds to enter the
main menu interface.
Turn off power: press long time about 2-3 seconds to turn
off power
Main interface
Enter the main menu, choose any icon on the bottom of the screen (sliding around in the icon area) to enter the browser,
movies, music, pictures, books, radio, calendar, recordings or settings shortcut functions
Function list
When enter the functions list interface, select “Local disk”, and then enter the function you want.

VII. Explorer
Access to this module has “Local Disk “and “SD Card” function list here. Choose one to see the list of all files stored on the disk,
press confirm button to Play.
File Setting
Press button to copy, paste and other operations with currently selected file.
VIII. Playing Video
In the main interface choose "Video" option, select video files in the list of files, scrolling up and down. Press confirm button to
open video file.
Press to enter the settings menu, here you can adjust parameters: "Breakpoint play", "Track", "Title", "Brightness," Zoom
Mode", "Play Mode", "High definition switch mode", "Channel " and other options. Press screen button to exit interface or
press quit layer by layer.
Play breakpoint
When you re-enter video file, you see a pop-up message ask you to continue video playback from the last point. Select "OK" to
continue from the breakpoint or "Cancel" to start from the beginning.

IX. Playing Music
In the main interface choose "Music" option, select music file you want to play and press confirm button to open file.
Media Library
Access to the local media library of all music files according the document to classification "artist, album, genre, star, year”, you
can quickly find the music files by category.
Directly in music files interface, sliding up and down to select the music file, click to enter music player interface.
Press to enter the settings menu, where you can adjust the following parameters: "Play Mode", "EQ", "Spectrum and the
lyrics switch," "Brightness," "Star Settings", "lyrics Color" and other options. Press screen button or exit.

X. Photo
In the main interface choose "Picture" option, select picture files in the list of files, scrolling up and down. Select the image file to
browse and press confirm button to open it.
1. When view picture, click left/right buttons can switch previous/next pictures
2. Select to return to previous menu
3.When view pictures, press confirm button to display/hide the image feature set menu, enter the picture function setting menu,
select "Auto Play", "Zoom rotate", "Thumbnail", "Switch Music, "Switching effect ","Browse time ","Play order ","Brightness, "Set
Desktop "and other options, click on any icon to enter the setting interface
Auto Play
Press button to start Auto Play.

XI. E-book
In the main interface choose "e-book" option, select text files in the list of files, scrolling up and down. Select the file to browse
and press confirm button to open it.
1. Press up / down buttons to scroll up / down the whole page;
2. Press confirm button to display/hide the e-book feature set menu, enter the function setting menu, select “Auto Reading”,
"Rotate", "Add Bookmark", "Open bookmark", "Font size", "Font Color", "Page Switching mode", "Set background", "Brightness",
" Switch Music" and so on option select or press to exit.
XII. FM
In the main interface select "FM" option to enter FM interface. Press to enter the settings menu to choose “FM list“, “Save
Radio”, ”Brightness” select or press to exit.

XIII. Record
In the main interface select "Record” option to enter Record interface. In settings menu choose “deleted record“, “record quality”
select or press to exit.
Start record
In the record mode press or buttons to switch play/pause record. Press button to stop record and save it.
Playback
Press button to enter the folder which contains saved records. Sound recording files stored in the file list, with 000 at the
beginning of the file name automatically generated according to the order of recording.

XIV. Settings
In the main interface select "Setting" option to enter settings interface. Scroll items up and down; select OK to enter the
appropriate interface.
Output
In the "output" option select TV output mode: "LCD (machine screen)", "NTSC", "PAL", "480P", "720P", "1080I", "1080P", "HDMI
720P", "HDMI 1080P ".
Power information
Yo u can use this option, to learn the information about the battery charge state and to monitor the process of charging.
Restore default setting
When you select "Restore default settings" option, the system will prompt "Do you restore the factory settings?" Choose "Yes" to
determine the recovery.

XV. Connections
OTG use method
This model provides a very convenient OTG functionality, in addition to copy data from USB devices to this machine, it also
allows reverse copy from the machine to USB device. Connect USB device to the machine using a special USB OTG cable.
HDMI output
Connect HDMI interface to HDMI interface of your TV with HDMI cable. Then go to output settings menu and set appropriate
HDMI mode.
Note: HDMI is not a hot-swappable interface.

TV output
Connect red, green and blue plugs to red, green and blue sockets on your TV. Insert the other end to the machine’s TV output.
Connect red and white plugs of audio cable to red and white sockets on your TV. Insert the other end to the headphone jack

XVI. The use of removable storage functionality
The player supports the standard removable disk function via high-speed USB2.0 interface for Windows98 (need to install the
driver) and Windows2000/XP/Vista/7 (do not need to install the driver) systems. The player will be recognized by your system
as a removable drive and fulfill removable storage functionality.
Copy files/folders
To upload files from your computer to the player, just copy the file/folder onto your player disk.
Delete a file/folder
Select file/folder on your player disk, press "Delete" key to delete file/folder. Click "OK" to delete.
Note: During player and computer data exchange, do not unplug USB cable, otherwise it will result in loss of control buttons,
and even loss of machine processes.
After use, right-click the icon in the bottom right corner of Windows desktop, according to the computer prompts, safely
disconnect the USB device.

XVII. FAQ
The machine could not be power on
Check if the battery is empty.
Check it again after connects the power adapter.
If you still cannot power on after charging, please contact our sales.
No sound is available when playing
Please check if the volume is set to 0.
Please check if the earphone’s connection is a problem.
Serious noise
Please check whether the earphone plug is clean, dirt can lead to noise. Check if the music files are broken. Try to determine
the other music. If the file has been damaged, it will lead to very serious tone of the noise or jump.

Garbled screen
Please check whether it has set the correct language option, the language chosen can set in the (set) =＞(language selection)
The files cannot be downloading
Confirmed the connection between the computer and the player is proper
Confirm whether the memory is full of storage space.
Confirm whether there is any damage in the USB cable.
Special attention
When the official announcement was the latest software upgrade, upgrade the software. Player actual operation methods and
user interface may have discrepancies with the manual and the official release date of the statement on the website there is a
need for users to go to official website to download.
