FUNCTIONS MOTION SENSOR
Adjust the time setting. The lights will turn off
either 1, 5 or 10 minutes after the last motion is
detected.
Day/Night setting. During the daytime the lights
will always turn on when triggered by motion. At
night the lights will only turn on when it is dark
and they are triggered by motion.
Button for pairing. Add IKEA Smart lighting products
to your system. Follow the instructions below:
ADDING DEVICES TO YOUR MOTION SENSOR
Your kits come already paired, so you will not need to
pair them yourself.
Before you can use your motion sensor it must be paired
to the light source you want to steer. If you want to add
more light sources, just repeat the steps below for each
individual light source.
1 Make sure that your light source is installed and the
power is turned on.
2 Hold the motion sensor close to the light source you
want to add (no more than 5 cm away).
3 Press and hold the pairing button for at least 10
seconds. A red LED light will shine steadily on the front
side of the motion sensor.
4 Your light source will ash one time to indicate that it
has successfully paired.
Up to 10 light sources can be paired with 1 motion
sensor.
Make sure to pair them one at a time. If the light sources
are close to each other, disconnect those that have
already been paired from the main power switch.
REMOVING DEVICES FROM YOUR MOTION SENSOR
1 Make sure the device you want to remove from your
TRÅDFRI motion sensor is turned on.
2 Hold the motion sensor close to the light source you
want to remove (no more than 5 cm away).
3 Press and hold the pairing button for at least 10
seconds. A red LED light will shine steadily on the front
side of the motion sensor.
4 Your light source will ash twice to indicate that it has
successfully un-paired.
FACTORY RESET
Lighting products:
Toggle the main power switch 6 times.
Motion sensor:
Press the pairing button 4 times within 5 seconds.
CHANGE BATTERY:
When unit is used regularly and as intended, the
batteries will last for approximately 2 years.
A red LED indicator will shine steadily when it’s time to
replace the batteries.
Open the battery lid and replace the batteries with
CR2032 type batteries.
