Der Kauf dieser innovativen JBL ProSilent Luftpumpe ist eine gute Entscheidung. JBL ProSilent Luftpumpen hört man fast
nicht. Präzise Fertigung und hochwertige Materialien sorgen für höchste Lebensdauer.
Sicherheitshinweise
Achtung: Zum Schutz vor Verletzungen und elektrischem Schlag sollten grundlegende Sicherheitsvorkehrungen beachtet
werden einschließlich der nachfolgend genannten:
Lesen und befolgen Sie alle Sicherheitsratschläge1. .
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Betriebsspannung mit der Netzspannung2.

Wir empfehlen dringend die Verwendung des beiliegenden Rückschlagventils2. JBL ProSilent Safe, um einen Rückuss
von Wasser in das Gerät auszuschließen.
Durch ihre Eigenvibration können3. JBL ProSilent Luftpumpen (wie jede andere Luftpumpe) auf Flächen„wandern“.
Verhindern Sie dies durch Aufstellen auf möglichst rauen, absolut horizontalen Flächen. Zur Sicherheit xieren Sie die
Luftpumpe mit einem Draht oder Band, das Sie durch die Öse am Gehäuseboden führen und mit einem Haken an der
Wand verbinden.
Schneiden Sie einen Luftschlauch auf die passende Länge und verbinden Sie das eine Ende mit dem Luftanschluss der4.
Luftpumpe. Stecken Sie das andere Ende des Luftschlauchs auf den Luftanschluss eines Ausströmersteins oder eines
anderen luftbetriebene Artikels. Platzieren Sie Ausströmerstein bzw. luftbetriebenen Artikel im Aquarium. Vermeiden
Sie überlangen Luftschlauch, da dies die Leistung der Luftpumpe verringern kann.
Verbinden Sie die Luftpumpe mit dem Stromnetz5.
Wartung (Abb C)
Äußere Pege: Mögliche Verunreinigungen am Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Tuch entfernen. Gerät nicht ins Wasser tauchen!
Vermeidung von Leistungsabfall:
Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig den am Boden des Gerätes bendlichen Luftlter auf Verschmutzung und tauschen ihn
erforderlichenfalls aus.
Ausströmersteine und andere luftbetriebene Artikel verstopfen mit der Zeit durch Kalkablagerungen etc. Überprüfen Sie
deshalb Ausströmersteine von Zeit zu Zeit und wechseln Sie sie aus, falls nötig. Prüfen Sie andere luftbetriebene Artikel auf
optimalen Durchgang und reinigen Sie sie, falls nötig.
Auswechseln der Membrane: Nachlassende Leistung bei nicht verstopften Ausströmern deutet auf eine defekte Membrane
hin. Dies kann alle 6 - 12 Monate erforderlich sein. Die Membrane und sonstigen Verschleißteile sind als vormontiertes
Ersatzteilset mit Anker und Schalldämpfkammer im Handel erhältlich. Wechseln Sie bitte immer das komplette Set aus, um
die optimale Leistung des Gerätes zu erhalten:
Entfernen Sie die Schrauben an der Unterseite des Gerätes und heben den Gerätedeckel ab.1.
Ziehen Sie das komplette Bauteil bestehend aus Membrane, Anker und Schalldämpfkammer nach oben ab.2.
Setzen Sie in umgekehrter Richtung das neue Bauteil wieder ein.
Setzen Sie den Gehäusedeckel wieder auf und verschrauben ihn.3.

Sonstige Hinweise:
Minimierung von Geräuschen: Die JBL ProSilent Luftpumpen wurden nach neuesten Erkenntnissen entwickelt und mit
einer Schalldämpfkammer und einem besonders dicken Gehäuse ausgestattet. Trotzdem können, auch unter optimalen
Bedingungen die Arbeitsgeräusche vor allem nachts in ruhigen Räumen hörbar sein.
Jede Luftpumpe erzeugt Vibrations- und Brummgeräusche, die mehr oder weniger deutlich hörbar sind. Durch Gegendruck
werden diese deutlich minimiert. Eine Durchussreduktion z. B. durch eine Schlauchklemme oder einen Lufthahn verringert
den Geräuschpegel deutlich.
Betreiben Sie deshalb niemals die Luftpumpe im„Leerlauf“,also ohne angeschlossenen Schlauch mit
Ausströmerstein o.ä.! Dies führt zu vorzeitigem Membranverschleiß und erhöhtem Geräuschpegel.
Garantie
Dem Endabnehmer dieses JBL-Gerätes leisten wir eine erweiterte Garantie von 4 Jahren ab Kaufdatum.
Die Garantie erstreckt sich auf Montage- und Materialfehler. Verschleißteile, wie Membrane, sowie Schäden durch äußere
Einüsse und unsachgemäße Behandlung sind von der Garantie ausgeschlossen. Die Garantieleistung erfolgt nach unserer
Wahl durch Austausch oder Reparatur der mangelhaften Teile.
Weitere Garantieansprüche bestehen nicht, insbesondere wird, soweit gesetzlich zulässig, keine Haftung für Folgeschäden
übernommen, die durch dieses Gerät entstehen. Im Garantiefall wenden Sie sich unter Vorlage des Kaufbelegs an Ihren
Zoofachhändler oder schicken das Gerät ausreichend frankiert mit gültigem Kaufbeleg an uns ein.

Safety precautions
Caution: Basic safety precautions including the following should be observed in order to protect from injuries and/or
electric shock:
Read and follow all of the safety tips.1.
Make sure that the operating voltage indicated on the name-plate is in accordance with your mains voltage.2.
Do not place the air pump on or over the aquarium. If the device falls into the water, do not try to retrieve it! Pull3.

Like any other air pump,3. JBL ProSilent air pumps may“wander” on surfaces as a result of their own vibration. Prevent
this by placing on a rough surface that is absolutely horizontal if possible. As a precaution, secure the air pump with a
wire or cord that you thread through the hole on the bottom of the housing and attach to the wall with a hook.
Cut an air hose of a suitable length and connect one end with the air connection of the air pump. Attach the other4.
end of the air hose to the air connection of an air stone or another air-operated article. Place the air stone or the air-
operated article in the aquarium. Avoid an excessively long air hose, since this can decrease the eciency of the air
pump.
Connect the air pump to the power supply.5.
Maintenance (Fig. C)
External care: Remove any dirt on the housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the device in water!
Avoid a decrease in eciency:
Check the air lter located on the bottom of the device regularly for dirt and replace as necessary.
Air stones and other air-operated accessories can become clogged by calcium build-up, etc. in the course of time. Therefore,
the air stones should be checked from time to time and replaced as necessary. Check other air-operated articles for optimum
airow and clean them if necessary.
Diaphragm replacement: Decreasing eciency with no clogging of the air stones is an indication of a defective diaphragm.
The diaphragm may need to be replaced every 6 - 12 months. The diaphragm and other parts subject to wear and tear can
be purchased as a premounted spare parts kit with an anchor and noise suppression chamber. Please make sure to always
replace the entire kit in order to ensure optimum eciency:
Remove the screws on the bottom of the device and lift the lid of the device.1.
Pull the complete unit consisting of the diaphragm, anchor and noise suppression chamber upwards and out.2.
Reverse the operation to insert the new unit.
Replace the housing lid and screw it tight.3.
Other notes:
How to minimise noise: The JBL ProSilent air pumps were developed according to the latest ndings and equipped with a
noise suppression chamber and a particularly thick housing. Nevertheless, the operating noise may even be audible under

optimum conditions, especially at night in a quiet room.
Every air pump generates vibration and buzzing noises, which may be audible to a certain degree. These can be minimised
noticeably by counter-pressure. Reduction of the ow rate e.g. by a hose clamp or an air tap reduces the noise level
signicantly.
Therefore, NEVER operate the air pump“idle”, i.e. without a connected hose with an air stone or similar! This results in
premature wear of the diaphragm and an increased noise level.
Guarantee
We oer the end user of this JBL product an extended guarantee of 4 years from the date of purchase.
The guarantee includes defects in assembly and materials. Parts subject to wear and tear such as the diaphragm and damage
caused by external inuences and improper handling are exempt from the guarantee. The guarantee is carried out by
replacement or repair of the faulty parts at our discretion.
Further guarantee claims are ruled out to the extent permitted by law. In particular, no liability can be accepted for
consequential damage caused by this product. In the event of a claim under the guarantee, please contact your specialist
retailer or send the product to us with a valid purchase receipt, postage and packaging paid.

En raison de leurs vibrations, les pompes à air3. JBL ProSilent risquent de se déplacer « toutes seules ». Par sécurité,
immobilisez la pompe à l’aide d’une sangle ou d’un câble que vous ferez passer dans l’œillet du fond du boîtier et que
vous xerez au mur à l’aide d’un crochet.
Coupez un tuyau souple à la longueur adéquate. Fixez l’une des extrémités de ce tuyau sur la prise d’air de la pompe.4.
Raccordez l’autre extrémité de la pompe à un diuseur ou un autre équipement alimenté en air. Placez le diuseur ou
l’équipement à l’intérieur de l’aquarium. Evitez d’avoir un tuyau trop long, car cela peut diminuer le rendement de la
pompe.
Branchez la pompe.5.

Entretien extérieur : Nettoyer les éventuelles salissures du boîtier à l’aide d‘un chion humide. Ne pas plonger l’appareil dans
l’eau.
Comment éviter une baisse de rendement de la pompe :
Contrôler régulièrement l’encrassement du ltre à air situé sur le fond de l’appareil, remplacer le ltre si nécessaire.
Les dépôts de calcaire nissent par colmater les diuseurs et autres articles alimentés en air. Contrôlez régulièrement l’état
de vos diuseurs et remplacez-les si nécessaire. Vériez également les autres articles pour vous assurer que la circulation de
l’air s‘eectue de manière optimale et nettoyez-les si nécessaire.
Remplacement de la membrane : Si le rendement de la pompe diminue alors que les diuseurs ne sont pas bouchés, cela si-
gnie que la membrane est défectueuse. Il peut être nécessaire de remplacer la membrane tous les 6 à 12 mois. Les membra-
nes et autres pièces d’usure sont disponibles dans le commerce sous forme d’un kit de pièces de rechange prémonté, avec
bras de retenue et chambre d’insonorisation. Remplacez toujours l’ensemble des éléments contenus dans le kit an d’assurer
un fonctionnement optimal de votre pompe.
Retirez les vis placées sur la face inférieure de l’appareil et enlevez le couvercle.1.
Enlevez l’élément complet composé de la membrane, du bras de retenue et de la chambre d’air en le tirant vers le2.

Remarques :
Réduction du bruit : Les pompes à air JBL ProSilent bénécient des derniers développements de la technologie. Elles sont
dotées d’une chambre d’insonorisation et d’un boîtier particulièrement épais. Malgré tout, même dans des conditions opti-
males, le bruit de fonctionnement de la pompe peut être audible, en particulier la nuit dans des pièces silencieuses.
Toutes les pompes à air produisent des bruits de vibration ou des bourdonnements qui sont plus au moins audibles. Une
contre-pression permet de les atténuer de manière sensible. Une réduction du débit, par exemple à l’aide d’une pince sur le
tuyau ou d’un robinet, permet de diminuer nettement le niveau de bruit.
La prise d’air doit être raccordée en permanence à un tuyau et un diuseur ou autre équipement similaire. Le fait de
laisser une prise d’air tourner « à vide » génère une usure prématurée des membranes et un bruit plus important.
Garantie
Nous orons à l’acheteur de cet appareil JBL une garantie étendue de 4 ans à partir de la date d’achat.
La garantie couvre les défauts liés aux matériaux et au montage. Les pièces d’usure, comme les membranes, ainsi que les
dommages liés à des inuences extérieures ou provenant d’une manipulation inappropriée ne sont pas couverts par cette
garantie. Il nous appartiendra de décider si cette prestation de garantie doit être eectuée par remplacement ou réparation
des pièces défectueuses.
Il n’existe pas d’autres droits à garantie ; en particulier, dans la mesure de ce qui est légalement admissible, aucune respon-
sabilité n’est supportée pour les dommages qui seraient consécutifs à l’utilisation de cet appareil. Pour faire valoir cette

Met de koop van deze innovatieve JBL ProSilent luchtpomp heeft u een goede keus gemaakt. JBL ProSilent luchtpompen
zijn bijna niet te horen. Dankzij de zorgvuldige fabricage en de toegepaste hoogwaardige materialen gaat de pomp
bijzonder lang mee.
Aanwijzingen met betrekking tot de veiligheid
Attentie: Om ongevallen of een elektrische schok te voorkomen, dient u behalve de gebruikelijke veiligheidsmaatregelen
ook de onderstaande adviezen na te komen.
Lees en houd u aan de veiligheidsadviezen1. .
Controleer of de op het typeplaatje vermelde werkspanning overeenkomt met de spanning van uw lichtnet.2.
Plaats de luchtpomp niet op of boven het aquarium. Wanneer de luchtpomp in het water is gevallen, grijp er dan3.
