BEFORE USING ANY ANALYSER CHECK THAT:
- The calibration date has not expired
- The particle filter is not dirty
- The water trap and flue probe hose are empty of water
- The water trap is fitted correctly to the instrument including the drain plug
- The flue probe hose is connected properly to the water trap
- The flue temperature plug is connected into Tf
USING THE ANALYSER
Switch the analyser on. It will now purge for approximately 20 seconds after which
it will show a set a readings on the display and now is a good time to check the
battery status.
Using the key, scroll until the display shows the CO/CO
2
ratio or whatever
you want to look at.
Insert the probe into the centre of the flue after approximately 60 seconds the
readings should stabilise.
STORING A TEST
Press the key once the display will show you at what number it will record
your test.
Press the key again and it will store your test.
RETRIEVING A TEST
Press the key once, then press the key. View will now be shown
on the screen.
Using the key you can now count up to the number where your test was
stored.
When you’ve reached the correct number, press the key and your test
readings will be displayed.
PRINTING A TEST
You can now print the test by pressing the key.
To return to the main screen, press the key.
Remove the probe from the flue and allow the analyser to purge with fresh air
before switching off!

CHANGING THE SETTINGS
The MENU options allows all the settings to be changed
Press to enter, use to scroll around the headings, use to
select a new option.
Then use to store the option and move to the next heading.
Escape at any time by pressing a number of times until you get back to the
main display screen.
CHANGING NUMBERS
When you select a menu option that needs a number entering or changing, the
display shows the current number on the top line. If you don’t need to change the
number just press .
If you want to change this number press and the first digit to be changed
will appear on the bottom line. Press to increase the number or to
decrease the number. Press to store the number and move on.
The final press of in a sequence will move you on to the next heading.
You can escape at any time by pressing until you are returned to the main
display screen. If you press before you have properly finished the number
changing sequence, then the original number will be retained.
