lIf the cord is damaged it must, for safety
reasons, be replaced by KENWOOD or an
authorised KENWOOD repairer.
lMake sure the appliance voltage
corresponds to the one of your electrical

lDo not leave the appliance unattended
when connected to the electrical mains.
Unplug it after each use.

lNever place the appliance body, plug
or power cord in water or other liquids;
always wipe clean with a damp cloth.
lEven when not in use, unplug the
appliance before fitting or removing the
single parts or before cleaning.
lMake sure hands are dry before using/
setting the switches on the appliance
or touching the plug and the supply
connections.
lNever touch the moving parts.
lNever insert hands into the goblet whilst
the appliance is plugged in.
lBlades are very sharp, handle with care
during their cleaning.
lNever use the appliance empty.
lDo not use the appliance in case of
damaged blade.
lDo not use the appliance to mince overly
hard food (such as meat with bone).
lPrepare the blender goblet with the food
to process and put it on the motor body
before plugging the appliance in.
lThe product was designed to work only
when the blender goblet is properly
assembled. In case it does not occur,
contact an authorized service centre.
lBefore removing the lid, wait for the blade
to stop completely.

To prevent injury and damage to the
appliance, always keep hands and
kitchenware out of blades and moving parts.
lTo unplug the appliance, take the plug
directly and remove it from wall outlet. Never
pull the power cord to unplug the appliance.
lNever use the appliance if the power cord

or plug are damaged or if the appliance
itself is faulty; in this case, contact the
nearest Authorised Service Centre.
lShould the power cord be damaged,
have it be repaired by the Manufacturer
or related service centre, otherwise by a
similar skilled person, to prevent any risk.
lThe appliance is intended for DOMESTIC
USE ONLY, do not use it for commercial or
industrial purposes.

to Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of

authorized by the manufacturer may make
void safety and warranty of the operator’s

lIf you decide to dispose the appliance, it is
recommended that you make it inoperable
by cutting off the mains cord. Those parts
of the appliance that could be dangerous
should be rendered armless, especially for
children who might use the appliance as a
toy.
lThe packing materials should be kept out
of reach of children since they are potential

how to operate
warning:
Even when not in use, unplug
the appliance before mounting or
removing the single parts or before
cleaning.
warning:
Prepare the container with the food
to mix and put it on the motor body
before plugging the appliance in.
lInsert the gasket on the blade set
(E); by holding it with the handle,
put the blade set (E) on the bottom
of the container base. Fix the
blade set (E) by rotating it counter-
clockwise to lock it (Fig. 2).
lPosition the goblet (C) on motor
body (G) properly and rotate it
clockwise to lock it (Fig. 3).
lCut food into small pieces and
place them into the container in an
amount which doesn’t exceed the
maximum level.
lAdd the liquid. Close the goblet (C)
with the lid (B) (Fig. 4).
note:
The correct ratio is 2 parts of food
and 3 parts of liquid for a max time of
30 seconds.
lClose the upper hole of the lid (B)
by inserting the apposite filler cap
(A) by rotating it clockwise (Fig. 5).
lPlug power cord into a socket.
lStart the appliance by turning the
on dial (F) clockwise as far as the
first (low speed) or the second
(high speed) notch to start the
blades.
By rotating the dial (F) counter-
clockwise, the PULSE function is
enabled ( ).
lTo stop the operation, turn the
operating dial (F) to «0».
warning:
If the appliance should fail to start,
make sure that the goblet is correctly
fitted. The appliance is fitted with
devices to prevent it from operating if
the goblet is not fitted or if it has been
fitted incorrectly.
warning:
Do not exceed the max. operating
time of 30 seconds.
l Never remove the lid (B) whilst
using.
warning:
Before mixing warm liquids, always
remove the filler cap (A) from the
blender lid.
warning:
Do not exceed the max operating
time of 30 seconds. The best use is
with short pulses for few seconds.
lDuring use, it is possible to add
foods into the container, by lifting
out the filler cap (A) after having
switched off the appliance.

Multimill blade
l Insert the ingredients into the
container (O).
note:
Fill the container (O) with fresh ingredi-
ents, max 50 g.
lPlace the gasket (N) into the
multimill blade (M). Close by
rotating the multimill blade (M) on
the container (O) anti-clockwise
(Fig. 6).
lPosition the assembled grinder,
tightly closed, onto the motor unit
(G) and rotate it clockwise until it
locks (Fig. 7).

Plug the appliance in and, through
the operating dial (F), select the pulse
functioning on the “ ” position for
2-3 times for a first grinding. Choose
then “1” or “2” as operating speed.
lTo remove the blade from the
container, rotate it clockwise and
extract it.

grinder container (H).
note:
The max amount to insert into the
container (H) is 100 g of coffee and
spices for a max time of 30 seconds.

Use dried ingredients only.
lPlace the gasket (I) into the coffee
grinder blade (L). Close by rotating
the coffee grinder blade (L) on the
container (H) anti-clockwise (Fig.
6).
lPosition the assembled grinder,
tightly closed, onto the motor unit
(G) and rotate it clockwise until it
locks (Fig. 7).

Plug the appliance in and, through
the operating dial (F), select the pulse
functioning on the “ ” position for
2-3 times for a first grinding. Choose
then “1” or “2” as operating speed.
lTo remove the blade from the
container, rotate it clockwise and

cleaning the motor base. Do not
use potentially abrasive products.
lClean blade thoroughly.
