Note 1 Exporting data to files to USB flash drive can sometimes a lot of time.
Note 2 Press any key to exit once completed. Press the cancel key to abort .

Firmware update
To update the firmware of your scale do as follow:
•NB: Updating firmware will erase all data on the scale.
•Make sure the firmware is compatible with your scale
•Updating firmware is done at your own risk.
Request the latest version of firmware
from your dealer
create "JHSCALE" folder on a USB-key
copy the received files into this folder
insert the USB-Disk to scale
Press program
Press 4
Pres accu/Confirm
Input number "999"
Press and hold "FProg" + "9" for 4
second
Wait for scale to restart

Weight Calibration
Get Into Privilege Mode
Break the seal at the bottom of the scale. Press the key. Then power the scale on
Device displays
Press Accu/Confirm
Device displays “P509”
Press Accu/Confirm again
Set Calibration Parameter
Calibration Parameter
1st windows: The calibration counter
2nd windows: The acceleration of gravity at calibration area.
3rd windows: The acceleration of gravity at user area.
Keep 2nd=3rd if user do not need gravity correction.
4th windows: Weight Sensor Range:

Press 0 and Accu/Confirm
Scale will calibrate zero point.
Put on weight. (min 1/3 of full capability)
Input the weight value.
example: if you put 10kg on, input 10.00 or 10.000.
If needed, press Fprog +Shift to move decimal point.
Press the call key at the bottom of the scale to quit Privilege Mode
Note: If the scale does not start at P5.09 in Privilege mode Press F-Prog + until you see “P5.09” on the
screen. Then press F-Prog + Amend to accept

Change Price of the PLU on the Scale
Label Formats
The LE.3k has 9 predefined labels barcodes. To choose a label format please do the following:
Call up the PLU by pressing it
speed key or the PLU number and
the PLU button
Enter the new price
Long press the @ price button
Complete transaction
Fprog + Prog
Enter new label number
Amend

Print adjust
To adjust the print height, please do the following:
*1 increment = 1 pixel
8 pixels = 1 mm
Printer sensor calibration (E7.11)
Please complete the following steps if the scale shows E7.11 while printing labels.
1. Check if the correct labels are used.
2. Reinstall the roll, and make sure the media is guided properly trough the sensors.
3. Turn off the scale. Press and hold the Feed key then switch on the scale, hold this key until self-check has
completed. The printer will feed a few labels while calibrating.
