Thank you for purchasing a KPC-5000. Please read all operating instructions carefully before using and
note the following points:
Avoid lengthy exposure to extreme heat or cold as your scale works best when operated at normal1.
room temperature. Always allow the scale to acclimate to a normal room temperature before
use.
Allow a few minutes warm up time.2.
The cleaner the environment the better. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents and proximity3.
to other electronic equipment can all cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of
your scale.
Handle with care. Gently apply all items to be weighed onto the tray top. Although this scale is4.
designed to be quite durable, avoid rough treatment as this may permanently damage the internal
sensor.
Place the item to be weighed on the platter and read the display after the stable weight is5.
displayed.
Do not operate near an in-use cell phone, radio, computer or other electronic device as these6.
devices emit RF and maybe cause unstable scale readings.

Functions
ON: Place the scale on the level and steady surface, pressing the button “ON/TARE”, the scale will
show “0” after self-examination, indicating the scale is ready for weighing.
TARE: To remove the weight of the container, placed the container on the platter and press the “ON/
TARE” button. When the container is removed, the scale will display the negative reading equal to the
weight of the container. To re-set to zero, press the “ON/TARE” button again.
OFF: Press the button “OFF” to turn off the scale. The scale will automatically turn off if the “AUTO OFF”
function is activated. See “AUTO OFF” below.
UNIT Switch: Press the button “MODE” and change the unit.
Notes
Clean the scale with soft fabric and clean water or a little mild detergent. Avoid water or other liquid
infiltration in the scale as this could cause short circuit of the scale, danger of injury or death to the
user.

Merci d’avoir acheté une balance KPC-5000. Veuillez lire attentivement ce mode d’emploi avant de
l’utiliser et remarquez les points suivants :
Éviter l’exposition prolongée à des extrêmes de chaleur ou de froid car votre balance donne1.
son meilleur rendement à la température normale. Laissez toujours le temps d’atteindre la
température ambiante avant d’utiliser la balance.
Laissez la balance réchauffer quelques minutes.2.
La propreté de l’environnement d’utilisation compte. Poussière, saleté, humidité, vibration,3.
courants d’air et proximité d’autres appareils électriques peuvent affecter la fiabilité et la précision
de la balance.
Manipuler avec soin. Déposez doucement les objets à peser sur le plateau. Même si cette balance4.
est conçue pour durer, éviter de la traiter avec rudesse car vous risquez d’abîmer les capteurs
internes de façon définitive.
Placez l’objet à peser sur le plateau et lisez le poids une fois que l’affichage se soit stabilisé.5.
Évitez d’utiliser la balance près de téléphones cellulaires en fonction, radios, ordinateurs et autres6.
appareils électroniques émettant des ondes radio qui peuvent causer une lecture instable.

Fonctions
Mise en marche : Placez la balance sur une surface stable et de niveau et appuyez sur le bouton « ON/
TARE »; après l’auto-vérification, l’affichage montre « 0 », indiquant que la balance est prête.
Tare : Pour déduire le poids du contenant, placez un contenant vide sur le plateau et appuyez sur « ON/
TARE ». Quand vous retirez le contenant, la balance affiche un poids négatif équivalant au poids du
contenant. Pour remettre à zéro, appuyez de nouveau sur « ON/TARE ».
Arrêt : Appuyez sur le bouton « OFF » pour mettre la balance hors fonction. Si la fonction « AUTO OFF »
est active, la balance se mettra automatiquement hors fonction.
Unité : Appuyez sur le bouton « MODE » pour alterner entre les unités de mesure métriques et
impériales.
Notes
Nettoyez la balance avec un chiffon doux et de l’eau propre. Au besoin, utiliser un peu de détergent
doux. Évitez l’infiltration d’eau ou d’autres liquides car ceci peut causer un court-circuit dans la balance
et causer des blessures ou la mort de l’utilisateur.
