NOTE: Some installation parts might not be provided.
NOTE: The toilet pictured in the installation steps may dier from the model
being installed.
¨ Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
¨ Do not install the valve where, during normal functioning, water from the
valve will cause damage.
¨ The vacuum breaker should not be subjected to continuous pressure for
more than 12 hours.
¨ A supply system shut-o valve is required upstream from the ush valve.


Installation/
1Flush the supply line and turn off the water supply.

Cut the water supply tube to the required length

Note:
- Connector should have minimum 4 treads after cutting.
- Remove brass scrap before installation to prevent the clogging.

3Slide the escutcheon and sleeve over the water supply tube.
If necessary, cut the sleeve to size.

Assemble the tailpiece as shown.

7Slide the escutcheon over the spud and
tighten the coupling nut.

8Connect and tighten the valve
body to the tailpiece.

Align and tighten the valve to the control stop.

4Apply thread sealant to the adapter

Valve Inlet

Connect and tighten the control stop to the
supply tube. Align the control stop outlet to
the valve inlet.

Installation/
Check for leaks.

13 Turn the screw clockwise to fully close
the control stop valve.

14 Open the control stop valve 1/4 turn at a time until an adequate flush is achieved.
Reinstall the cap.

10 Turn on the water supply.

11 Remove the cap. Turn the screw
counterclockwise to fully open the control
stop valve.

Care and cleaning
For best results, keep the following in mind when caring for your product:
•
Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying
to the entiresurface.
• Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately aer applying
cleaner. Rinse and dry any overspray that lands on nearby surfaces.
• Do not allow cleaners to soak on surfaces.
• Use a so, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such
as a brush or scouring pad to clean surfaces.
• The ideal cleaning technique is to rinse thoroughly and blot dry any water
from the surface aer each use.

 


Troubleshooting
Symptoms Recommended Action
1. Flush does not
function
1. Ensure the control stop is open.
2. Check the handle assembly for damage. Replace if
necessary.
3. Check the piston assembly for damage. Replace if
necessary.
2. Low ow – no
siphon on xture.
1. Check supply conditions for the required 35 psi
(2.5 Bar) static pressure and 25 gpm (95 lpm).
2. Check the control stop to ensure it is fully open.
3. Flushing is not
long enough.
1. Check the handle assembly for damage. Replace if
necessary.
2. Check the piston assembly for damage. Replace if
necessary.
4. Flushing is too
long or
continuous.
1. Clean the bleed hole.
2. Check the handle assembly for damage. Replace if
necessary.
3. Check the piston assembly for damage. Replace if
necessary.
5. Handle leaks. 1. Check the handle assembly for damage. Replace if
necessary.
6. Tail stock leaks. 1. Check the vacuum breaker for damage. Replace if
necessary.
2. Tighten the connections.
3. Turn the control stop down (clockwise) ¼ turn until
the leak stops. Check ushing performance.
4. If a damaged xture is causing high back pressure,
replace the xture.
