INSTALLATION
This unit comes pre-assembled with the selected color from factory. Follow the steps below for installing and
maintaining the strobe light.
MOUNTING
Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum back plate fabricated from copper free aluminum with six
pre-drilled holes designed to be bolted to walls, ceilings and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment.
WIRING
We strongly encourage a licensed electrician install this product, especially in outdoor locations where
weatherproofing may be required. Voltage driver permits operation at 110V AC.
Warning: Check product label for correct inputvoltage!
Attach supply line wires to the appropriate light fixture
wires as shown in the diagram
Take precautionary steps for weatherproofing all
connections if installed in a location where water may
come in contact with the unit. Ensure the unit is properly
grounded.

MOTION SENSOR
The SLEDB-110V-MS-20C operates like a standard on/off light switch.
The circuit is normally open when no motion is present. Once motion is
detected, the internal switch changes to a closed circuit, allowing voltage
to pass through the sensor and power the device(s) at the other end.
The sensor is an active motion detector; it emits high-frequency electro-
magnetic waves (5.8GHz) and receives their echo. The sensor detects
the change in echo from even the slightest movement in its detection
zone. A microprocessor then triggers the “switch light ON” command.
Detection is possible through doors, panes of glass or thin walls.
IMPORTANT: persons or objects moving towards the sensor are
detected best. NOTE: the high frequency of the output of this sensor is
<10Mw – that is just one 100th of the transmission power of a mobile
phone or the output of a microwave oven.
Malfunction Cause Remedy
The load will not work - wrong light control setting selected
- load faulty
- mains switch OFF
- adjust setting
- change load
- switch ON
The load is always working - continuous movement in the
detection zone
- check zone setting
Load works without and identifiable
movement
- sensor is not mounted for detecting
movement reliably
- movement occurred, but not
identified by the sensor (movement
behind a wall, movement of small
object in immediate vicinity etc.)
- securely mount enclosure
- check zone setting
The load will not work despite
movement
-rapid movements are being
suppressed to minimize
malfunctioning or the detection zone
you have set is too small
-check zone setting

MOTION SENSOR LOCATION
This unit uses a microwave sensor, which is more reliable than the standard PIR sensor. This sensor is
enclosed in a waterproof box below the light. The sensor DOES NOT need line of sight. The microwave sensor
is capable of sensing through the waterproof enclosure and detecting motion, which in turn activates the light.
Not seeing an external sensor may make you think that your unit is missing the motion sensor. It is not. The
sensor is included and will function as intended.
MAINTENANCE
If the lens becomes dirty, wipe down with a mild soap and water solution.
It isrecommended to occasionally inspect the unit for any defects and toensure the cable isnotfrayed and is gripping tightly in all
points ofcable contact.
USE AND CARE
Unauthorized modification may impair the function and/or safety of this device and could affect the life of the equipment.
Always check for damaged or worn out parts before using the device. Store it in a secure place out of the reach of
children when not in use.Inspect for good working condition prior to storage and before re-use.
REPLACEMENT PARTS
The SLEDB-110V-MS-PA is designed to provide years of reliable performance. Should the need for replacement parts
arise, please contact Larson Electronics.
