1.2 Instructions for loading the ME3 firmware version v3.822 to a ATX1230 receiver
For ATX1230 receiver please use the following upload steps. To upload the ME3 firmware to the
ATX1230 you need an RX1250 controller.
Make sure the batteries for the ATX1230 and the RX1250 controller are fully charged
Connect the RX1250 Port to the ATX1230 antenna using the GEV173 cable. The GEV173 cable
is the cable commonly used to connect the RX1250 and the ATX1230 (2 green Lemo
connectors). Do not use a Bluetooth connection.
Copy the ME3_3822.fw in the System folder of the CF card.
Insert the CF card into the RX1250 controller and switch the controller on
In the 5 Config… / 4 Interfaces… / SmartAntenna F3 Edit panel assign the ATX1230 device to
the port Port 1
Switch the ATX1230 antenna on
In the 6 Tools… / 3 Upload System Files… / 3 Instrument Firmware panel select the
ME3_3822.fw file and press (F1)(CONT) to start the upload process
When the upload process is completed restart the RX1250 receiver and check the firmware
version has been loaded successfully by checking the Meas Engine version is 3.822 or 3.054.
1.3 Instructions for loading the ME2 firmware version v3.822 to a GS09 receiver
For GS09 receiver please use the following upload steps. To upload the ME2 firmware to the GS09 you
need an CS09 controller.
Make sure the batteries of the GS09 and the CS09 controller are fully charged
Copy the ME4_6212.fw in the System folder of the CF card. Insert the CF card into the CS09
controller and switch the controller on.
Connect the CS09 Port to the GS09 antenna using the GEV 173 cable. The GEV173 cable is
the cable commonly used to connect the CS09 and the GS09 (2 green Lemo connectors). Do
not use a Bluetooth connection.
In the 5 Config… / 2 Instr. Config… / 1 Antenna select USB Cable as communication.
Switch the GS09 antenna on
In the 6 Tools… / 3 System… / 3 Instrument Firmware panel select the ME4_6212.fw file and
press (F1)(CONT) to start the upload process
When the upload process is completed restart the CS09 receiver and check the firmware version
has been loaded successfully by checking the Meas Engine version is 3.822 or 3.054
