Using Card Reader
The player hasa 3-in-1 cardreader, acceptingMMC(Multimedia card), SD(Secure digital card) and MS (Memory
stick).
Inserting a memorycard
1.Make surethat no discis placed onthe Player.
2.Insert thecard into theslot with thegold contacts facingup. Gently push the card
in all theway until thecard is fixedin place.
WARNING: Be careful notto insert thecard in thewrong direction, orit is forced in, the
card may bedamaged, or dataon the cardmay be lostor corrupted. If the
player is notrecognizing the card,or if itdoes not fitcorrectly, re-orientate
the card andtry reinserting it.
Removing a memorycard
You can remove thecard anytime evenit is playing.Toremove a card, grasp the end of
the card andremove the cardfrom the slot.

1.Insert thecard and thescreen will displaythe MP3 playback(default). Use direction
key ( and ) to selectthe file andpress ENTER on the remotecontrol or OK
on the Player toplay.
2.To access otherfile format, suchas JPEG andDivX, press or twice to movethe
cursor to the“Media Selection” at the lowerright of thescreen and pressENTER
on the remotecontrol or OK on the Playerto make theselection.
3.Press tomove the cursorto the file-listand use toselect file toplay.

Using USB Port
The player accepts mostUSB devices such asMP3, DSC, USB- drive,Digital Camcorder etc. TheUSB in this
player is version 2.0.
Pluging a USBdevice
1.Remove thedisc from theplayer.
2.Plug inthe USB deviceto the USBport on theplayer.
Removing a USBdevice
You can remove the USB device anytimeeven it isplaying. To remove theUSB device, simplygrasp the end of the USB
and remove itfrom the slot.
Playing a USBdevice
1.Insert theUSB device andthe screen willdisplay the MP3playback (default). Usedirection key ( and ) to
select the fileand press ENTER on the remotecontrol or OK on the Player to play.
2.To access otherfile format, suchas JPEG andDivX, press or twice to movethe curser tothe “Media Selection”
at the lowerright of thescreen and pressENTER on the remotecontrol or OK on the Playerto make theselection.
3.Press tomove the cursorto the filelist and use to select fileto play.

Using the AC Adaptor
This portable DVDplayer can bepowered byAC through thesupplied switching power AC adaptor. It can also use the
supplied battery packto power.
When theAC adaptor isconnected to theunit and powered,the unit will be automatically powered by the AC power.

Never disassemble ormodify the batterypack in anyway. Donot touch theterminal of thebattery pack witha metal
object.
Do not placethe battery packin direct sunlight,dashboard of avehicle, or high temperature place. It can cause
explosion or fire.
Do not exposethe battery packto water,fire, or heat.
Always usethe includedAC adaptor whencharging the batterypack.

Playing a Disc
1.Make surethe unit hasthe power eitherfrom the batterypack or the AC adaptor.
2.Loading adisc, following thesesteps:
Press the buttonbelow the screento open theLCD screen.
Slide OPEN latchin the directionof arrow toopen the disccompartment cover.
Place a discinto the traywith the labelside facing up.
Close the disccover.
3.Turn on the Power
Slide POWER to ON.
Press STANDBY on the remotecontrol to turnon the Player. You can alsopress PLAY/PAUSE ( ) on the Player to
turn on.

Press PLAY/ PAUSE (on the Playeror on the remote control ) to start play.

Skip
You can skip chapters on DVD-Video, trackson CDs, andVideo CDs.
1.To skip forward,press during playor while paused;it skips tothe next chapteror track. Eachpress increases
the numbers ofskips.
2.To skip toprevious chapter ortrack, press .
Fast Forward and Reverse
1.During playback,to fast forward,repeatedly press toincrease the fast forward speed 2x, 4x, 8x, 20x.
2.During playback,to fast rewind,repeatedly press toincrease the fastreverse speed 2x ,4x ,8x ,20x.
3.To resume normalplayback, press .
Slow Motion
1.During playback,repeatedly press SLOW to play at1/2, 1/3, 1/4,1/5, 1/6, 1/7speeds.
2.To resume normalplayback, press .
You can only perform slow motion playin the forwarddirection.
Resume
This Player providesa unique resumefunction for makingviewing movie moreconvenient. Follow these steps
1.When youwant to interruptthe playback andcome back laterto play where you interrupted it, you can press OPEN
on the Playerto open thedisc compartment cover.
2.You can now turn off thepower, putit on standby, or even remove the disc from the Player, and whenyou play the
same disc nexttime, the discwill play fromwhere it wasinterrupted.

Playing a Disc
Mark (Bookmark)
The Mark function lets you select parts of a DVD so that you can quickly find the section at a later time.
Follow these steps to set up marker playback:
1.During playback, press MARK on the remote control.
2.Use to select the desired underscore.
3.When you reach the scene you want to mark, pressENTER to confirm; and the underscore changes to a number
(1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 ).
4.Repeat the above procedure for a new scene. You can have up to 5bookmarks.
You can perform marker playback at any time by pressing MARK, and using to select one of the marks, then
pressing (on the Player or on the remote control )to start playing the bookmarked scene. The playback
continues until the end of the disc. Repeat the above to play the other marked scenes.
GOTO
You can go directly to a desired chapter and play, or play at a desired point of time. Follow these steps:
(A)To play a specific chapter
1. Press GOTO, use to select title (TT) and chapter
(CH) and enter the desired number.
2. Press ENTER to confirm and start play.
(B)To play from a specific point of time.
1. Press GOTO, repeatedly press to move to the time
display and it changes 00:00:00.
2. Fill in the time (hour: minute: second).
3. Press ENTER to confirm and start play.
Repeat Playback

You can play achapter, atrack, a title,a file orthe entire discrepeatedly.
1.During playback,repeatedly press REPEAT to choose aRepeat option. Dependingon the typeof disc,the Repeat
options may bedifferent.
2.To cancel repeatplayback, repeatedly pressREPEAT until REP:[ OFF ] appears on thescreen.

Press MENU/PBC to return to the disc's Start Menu if it has the Start menu, if not, appears.
Use TITLE to return to the beginning of the disc if there is no Start Menu.

To switch voice language, press LANGUAGE, the currently selected language is displayed on the screen.
Repeatedly press LANGUAGE to select other language if the disc has multiple languages.
You can also switch the voice language in disc menu screen by pressing MENU.
SUBTITLE
Repeatedly press SUBTITLE during playback tochange the subtitle'slanguage if thedisc has multiple language
substitle. You can turnoff subtitle when OFF is selected.""
ANGLE
With DVDs featuring recordings of pictures shot from different angles, you can choose any desired viewing angle
during playback.
Toswitch to differentview angle, press ANGLE, the currently selected angle isdisplayed on thescreen, repeatedly
press ANGLE to select yourdesired angle.
