Please observe the following for wiring according to EMC guidelines:

ƒSeparate control cables from motor cables.
ƒConnect the shields of the control or data cables as follows:
ÓAt both ends for cables with digital signals.
ƒPotential differences between thenodescanbeavoidedbyusingan
equalizing conductor with a large cross-section (reference: PE).
ƒPlease observe the further notes concerning EMC-compliant wiring given
in the Instructions of the basic devices.
General wiring information
1. Do not change the bus topology, i.e. do not use stubs.
2. Connect the bus terminating resistors of 120 Ωeach (scope of supply):
zbetween CAN-LOW and CAN-HIGH
zonly to the physical beginning and end of the cable
3. Use bus cable according to the specification on 37.
4. Do not exceed the permissible bus cable length (see 43).
