Mit dieser Platine können Sie
zwei Spezialfunktionen Ihrer Lok
(z.B. Glocke, Pfeife, Dampf etc.)
Im Mehrzugbetrieb fernbedienen.
Es sind bis zu vier Zusatzfunkti-
onsplatinen in eine Lok einbau-
bar, um bis zu acht Spezialfunk-
tionen einzeln zu steuern.Falls
Sie eine Lok mit Decoder-Schnitt-
stelle besitzen ist der Einbau von
55040 für vorhandene Funktionen
nicht nötig.
Mit der LGB-Lokmaus (55010)
lösen Sie die Funktionen aus ,
indem Sie die Funktionstaste
mehrmals drücken. Mit den bei-
den Handys (55015 und 55016)
drücken Sie einfach auf eine der
Zahlentasten (1 bis 8) um die
Funktion zu betätigen.

Anschließen einer Zusatzfunk-
tionplatine 55040
Die 55040 verfügt über drei
Kabel. Stecken Sie diese Kabel
auf den Decoder 55020. (siehe
Abb.)
Weitere 55040 können an die
neben den Kabeln plazierten Stif-
ten angeschlossen werden. Dies
können Sie mit bis zu vier 55040
wiederholen, so daß Sie maximal
acht Funktionen ansteuern kön-
nen.
Zuordnen der Funktionsnum-
mer, der Betriebsart und des
Zeitraumes
Jede 55040 ist mit einem Block
aus acht DIP-Schaltern ausge-
stattet. Wie diese DIP-Schalter
einzustellen sind, entnehmen Sie
bitte aus anhängender Tabelle.
HINWEIS! Die beiden Relais auf
55040 sind potential frei, und kön-
nen nicht als Stromquelle benutzt
werden.

function board
The Unit
With the help of this board, two
special function of your locomoti-
ve (e.g. bell, whistle, steam etc)
can be operated via remote con-
trol in multi-train operation. Up to
four additional function boards,
which enable up to eight special
functions to be operated, can be
fitted into one locomotive.
Should you have a locomotive
that is already fitted with a deco-
der interface then there is no
need to fit a 55040.
The additional functions can be
activated via the LGB locomotive
mouse (55010) by operating the
function key a number of times.
With the two handys (055015 and
55016) only one of the eight num-
bered keys (1 to 8) has to be
pressed to activate the function.
For each function you may select
between four types of function:
- ON/OFF switch (e.g. for steam,
internal lighting etc.)
- Momentary contacts with adju-
stable times (e.g. for bell,
whistle etc.)
- Flashing ON/OFF identical (e.g.
flashlights)
- Flashing ON/OFF intermittent
(e.g. blinker)
ASSEMBLY
ATTENTION! The additional func-
tion board 55040 is only intended
for advanced model makers. You
should be experienced for both
fine mechanical and electrical
work in order to assemble the
55040 into your locomotive. Ernst
Paul Lehmann Patentwerk cannot
accept the responsibility for
damage due to incorrect assemb-
ly or incorrect operation of their
products. Ernst Paul Lehmann
Patentwerk cannot offer assi-
stance for self assembled produc-
ts and, in addition, cannot repair

Connecting the additional func-
tion board 55040
The 55040 is fitted with three
leads.Fit these leads to the deco-
der 55020 (see Fig. X) Further
55040 boards can be fitted to the
pins that are adjacent to the
leads. This operation can be
repeated with up to four 55040
boards so that a maximum of
eight functions can be activated.

Every 55040 board is fitted with a
block of eight DIP switches. The
position for these switches can is
illustrated in the following table.

res avec système multitrain
LE PRODUIT
Cette platine vous permet de
commander à distance deux fon-
ctions spéciales de votre locomo-
tive (par ex.cloche, sifflet, vapeur,
etc.) dans le système multitrain. Il
est possible de monter quatre
platines de fonctions auxiliaires
dans une locomotive afin de com-
mander huit fonctions spéciales
séparément.
Dans le cas où vous disposeriez
d’une locomotive avec interface
de décodeur, le montage de la
platine 55040 pour les fonctions
existantes n’est pas nécessaire.
Les fonctions sont déclenchées à
l’aide de la souris de locomotive
(55010) en appuyant plusieurs
fois sur la touche de fonction.
En vous servant des deux com-
mandes portables (55015 et
55016), il vous suffit d’appuyer
sur les touches numériques (1 à
8) pour déclencher la fonction.
Il vous est possible pour chaque
fonction de choisir entre quatre
modes de fonctionnement :
- Commutateur marche/arrêt (par
ex. vapeur, éclairage intérieur,
etc.)
- Contacteur instantané avec
réglage du temps de maintien
(par ex. cloche, sifflet, etc.)
- Clignotement (marche/arrêt

MONTAGE
ATTENTION ! La platine de fonc-
tions auxiliaires 55040 s’adresse
seulement aux utilisateurs che-
vronnés des modèles réduits de
chemin de fer. Vous devez bien
maîtriser les travaux mécaniques
et électriques pour être en mesu-
re de monter une platine 55040.

Raccordement d’une platine de
fonctions auxiliaires 55040
La platine multifonctions 55040
est munie de trois câbles.
Connectez les câbles de la plati-
ne 55040 au décodeur 55020
(voir Illustr.).
D’autres platines de fonctions
auxiliaires 55040 peuvent être
branchées aux fiches placées à
côté des câbles. Cette procédure
peut être répétée avec quatre pla-
tines 55040, vous permettant
ainsi de commander jusqu’à huit
fonctions.
Réglage des numéros de fonc-
tion, du mode de service et de
la durée
Chaque platine multifonctions
55040 est équipée d’un bloc com-
posé de 8 commutateurs «DIP».
Le réglage de ces commutateurs
DIP est indiqué dans le tableau
suivant :
REMARQUE ! Les deux relais
sur la platine 55040 sont exempts
de potentiel et ne peuvent être
utilisés comme source de cou-
rant.
