Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY 16 Port 4K HDMI Splitter. This device is a high
performance UHD 4K2K HDMI amplifier and video & audio splitter which allows one Ultra High
Definition source to be displayed simultaneously on 16 different Ultra High Definition displays.

Installation
Make sure all devices are switched off before making any connections. Once all the
connections have been made, switch on the devices in this order: displays, HDMI Splitter,
source device.
1. EDID Switch: Choose TV to allow the switch to use the EDID signal from the first
connected device. Choose STD to allow the switch to use the EDID signal recorded in
the switch. The default setting is TV and should only be changed if you are having any
problems with your display
2. USB Port: Service port only
3. HDMI In: Connect your HD source device to this port
4. HDMI Out: Connect up to 16 HD displays to these ports
5. DC 5V: Connect the included 5V DC power supply to this port

1. Power LED: The LED will illuminate red when power is connected
2. Sync LED: The LED will blink when the power is first turned on and then illuminate
green when both the source and display are in sync
Connect the source device such as a DVD player or games console to the HDMI splitter’s input
port.Connect the high definition displays to the HDMI splitter’s output ports. When all the
connections are made, connect the power supply and switch on.
Notes on using DVI-D equipped devices: To connect devices equipped with DVI-D
connections, you can use either modular DVI-D/HDMI adapters or DVI-D/HDMI adapter
cables. Be aware that DVI-D is a ‘video only’ interface; audio signals are not supported when
using DVI-D source devices. Also, please note that DVI-D equipped displays must support
HDCP signal decoding to display HDCP protected HDMI signals. HDCP compatible displays
will normally feature the HD Ready logo.

Installation
Schließen Sie einfach nur Ihre HDMI Geräte an. Sollte es zu Problemen kommen, so schalten Sie sie in
folgender Reihgenfolge ein: Erst die Displays, dann den Splitter, dann die Signalquelle.
1. EDID Umschalter: Wählen Sie die Einstellung TV wenn die EDID Daten des Gerätes am Ausgang 1
verwendet werden sollen. Wählen Sie STD wenn im Splitter gespeicherte EDID Daten verwendet
werden sollten. Die Voreinstellung ist TV, ändern Sie diese nur wenn Sie Probleme mit Ihren
Displays haben.
2. USB Port: Für Firmwareupdates u.ä.
3. HDMI IN: HDMI Eingangsport zum Anschluss der Signalquelle
4. HDMI OUT: Ausgänge zum Anschluss Ihrer HDMI Display Devices
5. DV 5V: Zum Anschluss des Netzteils

Installation
Assurez-vous que tous les appareils soient hors tension avec d’effectuer les connexions. Une
fois toutes les connexions réalisées, mettez en marche les appareils dans l’ordre suivant:
affichages(écrans), splitter HDMI, appareil source.
1. Commutateur EDID: Choisissez TV pour permettre au switch d’utiliser le signal EDID
du premier appareil connecté. Choisissez STD pour permettre au switch d’utiliser le
signal EDID enregistré dans le Swicth. Le réglage par défaut est TV et ne devrait être
modifié que si vous rencontrez des problèmes d’affichage.

3. HDMI In: Connectez votre appareil source HD à ce port
4. HDMI Out: Connectez jusqu’à 16 affichages HD à ces ports
5. DC 5V: Connectez l’alimentation 5V DC fournie à ce port

1. LED Power: la LED s’éclaire en rouge lors de la mise sous tension

Connectez l’appareil source, comme un lecteur DVD ou une console de jeux, au port d’entrée
HDMI du Splitter.Connectez les affichages haute définition aux ports de sorties HDMI du Splitter
ports. Lorsque toutes les connexions sont réalisées, connectez l’alimentation et mettez sous
tension.
Remarques sur l’utilisation d’appareils DVI-D: pour connectez des appareils équipés de
connectiques DVI-D, vous pouvez utiliser au choix, soit des adaptateurs DVI-D/HDMI
modulaires ou des câbles adaptateurs DVI-D/HDMI. Sachez que le DVI-D est une interface
exclusivement vidéo; les signaux audio ne sont pas pris en charge lorsque des appareils
sources DVI-D sont mis en oeuvre. Veuillez également prendre en compte que les affichages
équipés en DVI-D doivent prendre en charge le décodage des signaux HDCP pour afficher
les signaux HDMI protégés en HDCP. Les affichages compatibles HDCP doivent
normalement arborer le logo HD Ready.

Collegate la sorgente come per esempio un lettore DVD, all’ingresso HDMI dello splitter.
Collegate i monitor alle uscite HDMI dello splitter. Quando tutti i collegamenti sono effettuati,
collegate l’alimentatore ed accendete lo splitter.
Note per l’uso con dispositivi DVI: per collegare dispositivi con porte DVI-D potete
utilizzare adattatori o cavi DVI-D/HDMI. Considerate che l’interfaccia DVI-D è solo video e
non trasporta segnali audio. Inoltre se volete inviare segnali HDMI con codifica HDCP su
monitor DVI-D, dovete prima assicurarvi che anche i monitor DVI-D supportino segnali
HDCP. Solitamente i monitor che supportano tale codifica hanno il logo HD Ready
