Installing the LED tape light
Note: Ensure that the installation area is clean,
grease-free and dry. Otherwise the functionality of
the adhesive strip may be impaired.
Choose a suitable installation area (window
etc.). Remove the protective foil from the reverse
side of the LED strip 3. Ensure when removing
the protective film that you do not peel away
the adhesive tape too. Stick the LED strip 3
with the adhesive strip onto the installation area
and press it on firmly.
Alternatively, secure the LED strip 3using the
hangers (silicone rings 9).
Mount the solar panel 1to the tube 4and
the ground stake 5. Ensure during assembly
that the solar panel 1is connected flush with
the tube 4. Mount the plug-in connector 2.
Push the solar panel 1with the earth stake
5into the ground.
Loosen the locking screw 6.
Adjust the solar panel 1to the desired position.
Re-tighten the locking screw 6.
Your light is now ready to use.
Switching the LED strip on/off
Note: The LED strip is only switchable when the
light has been switched on by the twilight sensor.
Press the power switch (ON/OFF) 7on the
solar panel 1to switch on the LED strip 3.
You can choose between 7 different effects or
permanent lighting by pressing the MODE
button 8on the solar panel 1.
The solar module takes approx. 3–4 hours to
charge. When fully charged, the lighting time
is 10–12 hours.
The solar panel 1contains a twilight sensor
which automatically switches the light on and
off again.
Press the power switch (ON/OFF) 7to
switch off the LED strip 3.
Cutting the LED strip light
The LED strip light 3can be cut to size as
required.

Disconnect the light from the power source be-
fore working on the LED strip light 3.
Separate the LED strip 3from the solar cell.
Determine the desired length for the LED strip
light 3.
Note: Make sure you cut the LED strip light
3at the correct point (see Ill. B).
Cut the LED strip light 3with a pair of scissors.
Be sure to cover the open end of the LED strip
light 3with the adhesive strip 10 before us-
ing the light (see Ill. C).
Maintenance and cleaning

Disconnect the light from the power supply through
the solar panel 1before performing any work on
the LED strip 3.
Disconnect the plug-in connector 2to do so.
Do not use solvents, petrol or similar substances,
as they would damage the light.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the LED tap
light 3.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.

materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics/ 20–22: paper and fibre-
board/ 80–98: composite materials.
