Intended use
Congratulations on the purchase of your new device. You have acquired a high-
quality product. The operating instructions are a component of this product. They
contain important information on safety, use and disposal. Familiarise yourself
with all operating and safety information before using the product. Only use the
product as described and for the declared uses. This product is intended only for
private, non-commercial use. If you give the product to a third party, also provide
them with all documents.

Safety instructions and warnings
LED: Do not look directly into the light, or direct the torch into the eyes of oth-
er people. This may lead to vision impairment. Switch the product off when it
is not in use. Do not immerse the product in water or other liquids. Always keep the
product, batteries, and packaging out of the reach of children. The product is not
a toy. We accept no liability for personal or material damage caused by incorrect
use or by failure to comply with these operating instructions. In such cases, any
guarantee claim is nullified.
Safety instructions for batteries
DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed which poses a danger
to life. If a battery has been swallowed, medical help must be sought im-
mediately.
• Remove the batteries from the device if they have not been used for a
longer period.
CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge the batteries!
• Prior to inserting the batteries, clean the battery contact and device contact
if necessary.
• Immediately remove exhausted batteries from the device. There is an
increased risk of leakage!
• Always keep batteries away from children, do not expose the batteries to
fire, do not short-circuit the batteries, and do not disassemble them.
• If these instructions are not complied with, the batteries can be discharged
beyond the cut-off voltage. This poses a risk of leakage then. If the batteries
have leaked inside the device, remove them immediately to avoid damage
to the device!
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. When getting in
touch with battery acid rinse the affected area with plenty of water and/or
consult a doctor!
• Always replace all batteries at the same time and only insert batteries of the
same type.

• Illuminant (cannot be replaced): 1 x LED / approx. 15 000 mcd
Initial operation
Unscrew the end cap (3) and insert the four batteries (2) using the protective
sleeve. Please ensure that the polarity of the batteries is correct. Screw the end
cap back on. To switch the light on, press the micro-switch (1).
Cleaning and care
Clean the product only with a dry lint-free cloth.
Environmental protection / disposal instructions
Hand in the product only at a collection point for electrical refuse. Batteries do not
belong in household waste! Please hand in batteries and/or the appliance via
available collection facilities. The disposal of old equipment does not take place
via the sales outlet.
Guarantee
This product has a 3 year guarantee from the date of purchase, for time and
materials. This guarantee does not apply to products which are used incorrectly,
modified, neglected (including normal wear), damaged by accident or abnormal
operating conditions, or are handled incorrectly. For a claim under guarantee, the
appliance together with proof of purchase and a brief description of the fault are
to be sent to Mellert SLT. If there is no proof of guarantee, repairs will be carried
out only against payment.

Lampen må ikke dykkes ned i vand eller andre væsker. Børn må ikke komme i
nærheden af lampen, batterierne eller emballagen. Lampen er ikke noget legetøj.
Vi påtager os ike noget ansvar for ting- eller personskader, som skyldes forkert
behandling eller tilsidesættelse af denne betjeningsvejledning. I sådanne tilfælde
bortfalder ethvert garantikrav.
Sikkerhedsanvisninger vedrørende batterier
LIVSFARE! Batterier kan sluges, hvilket kan være livsfarligt. Hvis man
kommer til at sluge et batteri, skal man straks søge lægehjælp.
• Fjern batterierne fra apparatet hvis det ikke skal anvendes i længere tid.
FORSIGTIG! EKSPLOSIONSFARE! Genoplad aldrig batterier!
• Rengør om nødvendigt kontakterne på batterierne og i apparatet inden du
sætter batterierne i.
• Når batterierne er ved at være opbrugte, skal de omgående fjernes fra
apparatet. Der er forøget fare for lækage!
• Batterier skal opbevares utilgængeligt for børn, de må ikke brændes, de må
ikke kortsluttes, og de må ikke adskilles.
• Ved manglende overholdelse af anvisningerne kan batterier blive afladet ud
over deres slutspænding. I så fald er der fare for lækage. Hvis batterierne
i dit apparat skulle være blevet afladet, skal du straks tage dem ud for at
forebygge skader på apparatet.
• Undgå kontakt med hud, øjne og slimhinder. Ved kontakt med batterisyre
skal du skylle det ramte sted med rigeligt vand og/eller søge lægehjælp!
• Udskift altid alle batterier samtidig, og isæt kun batterier af samme type.
