1.1 INFORMATION MANUAL
These operating instructions contain important information on handling the machine. Requirement for
safe operation is the correct observance of all specified safety and handling instructions. In addition, the
rules governing the application range of the machine local accident prevention regulations and general
safety regulations must be observed.
The operating instructions must be read carefully before the initial start-up! It is part of the product and
must be kept accessible at all times in the immediate vicinity of the machine and for all users. When
passing the machine on to third parties also give to the operating instructions.
The term machine replaces the commercial designation of the object to which these operating
instructions - see cover sheet - applies.
Information on specifications, dimensions and illustrations of the machine as well as changes of safety
standards are subject to further development and are therefore not in any case for the supply binding.

1.2 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

All documents are protected under copyright law. A transmission and reproduction of documents, even
in extracts and releases the contents are not permitted unless expressly agreed.
The machine is designed exclusively for the purpose described here intended use and tested. All other
activities are prohibited.
−The machine is suitable for smoothing and grinding of concrete and sand cement floors with
different composition.
−However, the machine must not be used for polishing of unsuitable materials such as silt,
sealants or coatings.
−The trowel is designed as a one-man instrument and must therefore only be operated by one
person.
−The machine must not be used in continuous commercial operation.
−The machine may only be used outdoors.
−The machine must not be used in the rain or on to soft concrete.
−Lubrication must always be guaranteed.
−The safety devices must not be removed or bypassed.
Observance of the operating and maintenance instructions and carrying out the maintenance, and
compliance with the maintenance intervals, are intended for use.
The warranty is void if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent
purposes. If the machine is for commercial or industrial use or the like, LUMAG assumes no liability.
Any deviation from the intended use beyond and / or other use of the machine can lead to
dangerous situations! LUMAG GmbH will relieve against the consequences of any claims
resulting from failure to comply with these provisions accordingly.

The machine is driven by a 4-stroke gasoline engine OHV.
The hand-held trowel consists of a frame on which a gasoline engine, a fuel tank, a Gearbox housing
and a guide rod mounted with handle. The Gear is connected to four smothing blades and surrounded
by a protective ring.
