INTRODUCTION
Your infrared heater is heating in the way of radiation. Because it doesn’t need to heat the
ambient air, it works well for use outdoors.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, etc.
Read through the operation and assembly instructions carefully before operating the appliance.
Be sure to keep the manual in a safe place for future reference. If you pass the appliance on,
pass on the instructions too.
• Read all instructions before using this heater.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• The appliance should be mounted by a qualified electrician.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Keep out of reach of children. Consequently, when selecting the location for your machine,
do so in such a way that children do not have access to the machine.
• The appliance must not be located immediately below a wall socket-outlet.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic
area and where it will not be tripped over.
• Check if the voltage indicated on the nameplate of the appliance corresponds to the local
mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
• Always plug the heater directly into a grounded wall socket, which is controlled by a 2 pole
switch. Do not use extension cord.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains
at least 0.9 m from the front of the heater.
• Pay attention that, no combustible material due to wind or other environmental influences
covers or obstructs the appliance, such as curtains, marquees, flags, plastic foil etc.
• Turn off the heater and remove the plug form the outlet when not in use, before cleaning
or changing of the infrared tubes.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Never leave children unsupervised with the machine. Children must be supervised not to
play with the appliance.
• Never operate the appliance if it has damaged or worn parts. The appliance is to be repaired
by a qualified electrician only.
• In case of improper use, there is a risk of electrical shock and/or fire hazard.
