3. Inbetriebnahme
Bauen Sie den Decoder sorgfältig
nach den Anschlussplänen in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung in die
Lok ein. Der Decoder ist generell
gegen Kurzschlüsse oder Über-
lastung gesichert. Werden jedoch
beim Einbau Kabel vertauscht oder

3. Hook-Up
Install your decoder in compliance
with the connecting diagrams
in this manual. The decoder is
protected against shorts and
excessive loads.
However, in case of a connection
error e.g. a short between a light

3.1 Anschluss Analog oder Digital
Stecken Sie die das S PluG
Modul mit der 10 poligen Buchse
polungsrichtig auf die Basisplatine
der PluG-Schnittstelle. (Wenn der
PluG Decoder auf das Interface ge-
steckt ist, kann die S PluG-Modul
nicht falsch aufgesteckt werden).
Schließen Sie einen passenden
Lautsprecher und gegebenenfalls
weiteres Zubehör (Taktgeber,
Reedschalter) an der Basisplatine

3.1 Track Connection for Analog
and Digital Operation
Plug the S PluG module with
the 10-pin socket into the base
board of the PluG interface with
the correct polarity. (When the
Decoder is already plugged in,
the S Plug Soundmodule always
plugs in right). Connect a suitable
loudspeaker and, if necessary, ad-
ditional accessories (clock genera-
tor, reed switch) to the base board.

4. Konguration
4.1 Einstellungen S PluG Modul
Das Soundmodul ist bereits
vorkonguriert.Esmusskeine
Lokadresse programmiert werden,
diese wird vom PluG Fahrdecoder
übernommen. Funktionsbeschrei-
bungenundCV-WertendenSie
inderKongurationsanleitung.
Nutzbar sind nur die SUSI-CV
Werte ab Seite 54.
4.2 Update
Das Soundmodul ist über den
SUSI-Bus mittels PC Modul
updatefähig.
Zum Update darf kein Fahrdeco-
der aufgesteckt sein!
Nutzen Sie hierfür unser Pro-
gramm Massoth Service Tool.
Wenn ein Update fehlgeschlagen
ist geht der Decoder automatisch
in das Notfall Updateprogramm.
Wiederholen Sie dann einfach
noch einmal das Update.

4. Conguration
4.1 Settings of the S PluG module
Thesoundmoduleisprecong-
ured. There is no need to program
a locomotive address, this is taken
over by the PluG driving decoder.
Function descriptions and CV
values can be found in the con-
gurationinstructions.Onlythe
SUSI-CV values from page 54 can
be used.
4.2 Update
The sound module can be updated
via the SUSI bus using the PC
module.
No driving decoder must be
plugged on for the update!
Use our Massoth Service Tool
program for this purpose.
If an update fails, the decoder will
automatically go into the emer-
gency update program.
Then simply repeat the update
again.

Hinweis zur Temperatur: Um Kon-
denswasserbildung zu vermeiden
benutzen Sie die Elektronik bei

des Fahrbetriebs reicht aus
um Kondenswasserbildung zu
verhindern.

MASSOTH gewährt die Fehlerfrei-
heit dieses Produkts im Rahmen
der gesetzlichen Vorgaben,
mindestens jedoch für 1 Jahr ab
Kaufdatum. Um Reparatur- oder
Serviceleistungen in Anspruch
zu nehmen, übergeben Sie das
Produkt bitte Ihrem Fachhändler
oder senden es direkt an den
Hersteller. Unfreie Sendungen
werden nicht angenommen. Eine

operation to prevent the generation

MASSOTH warrants this product
against defects in materials and
workmanship for one year from
the original date of purchase.
Other countries may have dif-
ferent legal warranty situations.
Normal wear and tear, consumer
modicationsaswellasimproper
use or installation are not covered.
Peripheral component damage is
not covered by this warranty. Valid
