Wir empfehlen eide Anleitungen gründlich zu lesen, evor Sie den
neuen Dekoder in Betrie nehmen.
Vertauschen Sie keine Anschlusska el, das kann zur Zerstörung führen!
Einige Funktionen sind nur mit der aktuellsten Firmware nutz ar, führen
Sie ei Bedarf ein Update durch.
Beim Festschrau en darauf achten, dass kein Kurzschluss an den
Lötkontakten entsteht. Zusätzliche Ka el für weitere Funktionen nur mit
einem kleinen Lötkol en anlöten um Kurzschlüsse zu Bauteilen oder
enach arten Anschlüssen zu vermeiden.

1.1. Lieferumfang

Sollte eine dieser Positionen im Lieferumfang nicht enthalten oder e-
schädigt sein, so informieren Sie itte Ihren Fachhändler oder wenden Sie
sich direkt an den Hersteller.
2. Erste Schritte zur Inbetriebnahme
Bauen Sie den Dekoder sorgfältig nach den Anschlussplänen in dieser
Bedienungsanleitung in die Lok ein. Der Dekoder ist generell gegen
Kurzschlüsse oder Ü erlastung gesichert. Werden jedoch eim Ein au
Ka el vertauscht oder Ka el verschiedener Funktionen (z.B. Licht mit
Motor) kurzgeschlossen, kann diese Sicherung nicht wirken und der
Dekoder wird zerstört.
Der Dekoder ist im Auslieferungszustand auf die Lokadresse 3 und
14 ahrstufen eingestellt. Möchten Sie eine hohe Lokadresse ab 128
verwenden, müssen Sie CV17 und CV18, sowie CV29 entsprechend
ändern.
Wenn Sie mit 28 ahrstufen fahren, erhöhen Sie CV29 um 2. (Sonst
lässt sich das Licht nicht schalten.)
Wenn Ihr Digitalsystem nur serielle unktionen unterstützt müssen
Sie CV49 = 3 programmieren.

2.2. Motor- und Gleisanschluss
Ver inden Sie das weiße (+) und raune (-) Ka el mit dem
Gleisanschluss des Getrie es.
Ver inden Sie das gel e (+) und grüne (-) Ka el mit dem Getrie e.
2.3. Befestigung
Sie können den Dekoder mit dem eiliegenden Kle epad efestigen.
Alternativ können Sie den Dekoder ü er die eiden Löcher festschrau en.
Beachten Sie a er hier ei un edingt, das Sie mit dem Schrau enkopf
kein Ka el eschädigen!
Achten Sie eim Befestigen darauf, das kein Kurzschluss zu anderen
Teilen entsteht.
Die Ränder mit den Löchern können ei Bedarf a ge rochen werden.

3.3. Anschluss SuSi-Bus
Für den Anschluss eines SuSi-Bausteins müssen die 4 Ka el an den
Dekoder angelötet werden.
➢ Schwarz = GND (SuSi -) ➢ Rot = Dek+ (SuSi +)
➢ Grau = RxD (SuSi-Data) ➢ Blau = TxD (SuSi-Clock)
Die nötige CV-Programmierung entnehmen Sie Bitte der CV-Liste.
3.4. unktionsumfang + Programmierung

Hinweis zur Temperatur: Um Kondenswasser ildung zu vermeiden
enutzen Sie die Elektronik ei Temperaturen unter 0°C nur, wenn diese
vorher aus einem eheizten Raum kommt. Die Eigenwärme des Fahr-
etrie s reicht aus um Kondenswasser ildung zu verhindern.

5. Garantie und Gewährleistungsansprüche
Massoth garantiert die Fehlerfreiheit dieses Produkts für ein Jahr. Darü erhinaus esteht in Deutschland
ein Gewährleistungsanspruch von 2 Jahren. Der Anspruch auf Serviceeistungen durch den Hersteller
erlischt durch eine zweckentfremdete Nutzung sofort und unwiderruflich. Irrtümer und Änderungen
vor ehalten.
5.1. Reparatur, Kundendienst, Support
Für Schäden durch unsachgemäße Behandlung oder Fremdeingriff oder Veränderung des Produkts
esteht kein Garantieanspruch. Zuwiderhandlungen ewirken zwingend Garantieverlust und generelle
Reparaturverweigerung. Berechtigte Beanstandungen werden kostenlos nachge essert. Für Reparatur-
oder Serviceleistungen ü erge en Sie das Produkt itte Ihrem Fachhändler oder senden es ausreichend
frankiert an den Hersteller. Eine Kopie des Kauf elegs wird vorausgesetzt. Unfrei zugesendete Ware wird

1. General and safety details
We highly recommend to study oth manuals thoroughly efore operating
your new decoder.
Do not mix up any wires as this may lead to serious damage of the
decoder! Some functions may only e availa le with the latest software
version. Perform an update if necessary.
Use caution when mounting the decoder with screws. Make sure that
there is no short circuit at the soldering pads. Please use a small
soldering iron when adding wires to additional soldering pads. This
prevents short circuits in the area of the soldering pads.

In case one of the items listed a ove is damaged or missing, please con-
tact your dealer or the manufacturer directly.
2. Basic information for the installation
Install your decoder in compliance with the wiring diagram in this manual.
The decoder is protected against short circuits and excessive loads.
However, in case of a connection error e.g. a short etween a light and
the motor, this safety feature cannot work and the decoder will e
destroyed su sequently.
The decoder is originally programmed to address #3 with 14 speed
steps. In case you want to use a high address, you have to program
CV17, CV18, and CV29 accordingly. If you want to use 28 speed
steps you need to add „2“ to CV29. Otherwise the lights might not
work or may flicker.
In case your digital control system only supports serial data
functions, you need to set CV49 to „3“.

2.2. Hook-up of motor and track power
Connect the white (+) and the rown (-) wire to the track power leads of
the motor lock.
Connect the yellow (+) and the green (-) wire to the motor leads of the
motor lock.
2.3. Mounting instructions
You may mount the decoder with either the supplied dou le-sided tape or
with two screws using the mounting holes.
Please do not damage any ca les with the screw heads!
Make sure not to produce a short circuit during mounting.
The rims holding the mounting holes may e snapped off.

3.3. Hook-up to SuSi-bus
The hook-up of SuSi- us components requires soldering four wires to the
decoder.
➢lack = GND (SuSi -) ➢red = Dec+ (SuSi +)
➢grey = RxD (SuSi-Data) ➢lue = TxD (SuSi-clock)
Please check the CV list for the required CV settings.

make sure it was stored efore in a heated environment efore operation
to prevent the generation of condensed water. The heat generated during
operation is sufficient to prevent condensed water.

MASSOTH warrants this product for 1 year from the original date of purchase. This product is warranted
against defects in materials and workmanship. Peripheral component damage is not covered y this
warranty. Normal wear and tear, consumer modifications as well as improper use or installation are not
covered.

Massoth cannot e responsi le for damage due to improper use and alterations made y the customer.
This voids your warranty instantly and irrevoca ly. Valid Warranty Claims will e serviced without charge
within the warranty period. To initiate a warranty claim, please contact your dealer or Massoth/MASSOTH
