1-1 Serial Number Location

CHAPTER ⅡENGINEERING MODE
BASIC SETTINGS
Basic settings must be done during the assembly process. Before you start with the basic settings,
make sure everything is assembled properly to the bike or KRANKcycle.
Basic settings include:
Pairing of ANT+ RPM transmission.
KM/MILE settings.
Gear Ratio settings.
Basic settings process:
Press and hold any button then insert batteries into the ANT+ console to enter maintenance
mode.
Press “ UN” button to display software version.
Press “ UN” button to enter ANT+ RPM pairing mode.
Press “FLOW” button to start ANT+ RPM pairing. (Put the console as close as possible to the
transmitter and provide RPM signal during the pairing process).
As soon as a RPM signal is displayed, pairing of ANT+ RPM transmission is finished.
Proceed with basic settings process:
Press “ UN” button to enter KM/MILE setting
Press “FLOW” button to select between KM or MILE .
Press “ UN” button to confirm your selection and to enter gear ratio settings.
Press “FLOW” button to select between following gear ratios:
1:3.1 for bikes with V-Belt Drive. (IC3, -/E- eries).
1:4.0 for bikes with Timing-Belt Drive.
1:4.3 for KRANK cycle.
Press “ UN” button to confirm your selection and finish the basic settings process.
Turn on the ANT+ console by pressing any of the 2 buttons (“ UN” or “FLOW”).
Test if the ANT+ console properly reads and displays your HR signal transmitted from your
personal HR chest belt (analog chest belts will be paired automatically; ANT+ chest belts must
be paired manually).
Process for ANT+ heart rate pairing:
Press “ UN” button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
Press “FLOW” button to start ANT+ HR pairing (Get as close as possible to the ANT+ console
during ANT+ HR pairing).
Press “ UN” button to get back to main menu after successful ANT+ HR pairing.

HR chest transmitter must be moistened prior to use in order to transmit signal. The blinking of the
heart symbol on the ANT+ console display indicates the reception of a compatible analog or ANT+
HR signal.
It may take up to 3 seconds before the actual HR data is displayed
BATTERY EXCHANGE
BATTERY EXCHANGE AND RE ETTING OF CON OLE:
The symbol will appear in the upper right corner of the display when the batteries need to be
replaced.
To change the batteries, or to reset the ANT+ console in order to resolve any issues to the
functioning of the ANT+ console, please proceed as follows:
Use a screw driver to remove the ANT+ console from its support bracket.
Remove the batteries of the ANT+ console.
Press any button on the front of the ANT+ console for at least 10 seconds.
After RE ET reinsert the (new) batteries.
Test the functionality of the ANT+ console before re-attaching it to its support bracket.
BATTERY EXCHANGE AND RE ETTING OF CADENCE TRAN MITTER:
To change the batteries of the cadence transmitter or to reset the cadence transmitter, please
proceed as follows:
Use a screw driver to remove the cadence transmitter from the bike/KRANKcycle frame.
Remove the batteries from the cadence transmitter.
Wait for at least 30 seconds before inserting the (new) batteries..
Test the functionality of the cadence transmitter before re-attaching it to the bike/
KRANKcycle frame.

CHAPTER ⅢPARTS REPLACMENT
Bottom Bracket spindle replacement
Belt tension.
Bottom Bracket bearing replacement.
edal exchange.
Chain guard exchange.
Warning!
Please ensure the bike is positioned stably and properly secured while repair work is being
performed.
1) Remove the crank
a) Remove the M8 x 20 x 1.25P crank mounting bolts from the right and left crank using the
8mm Allen key.

b) Remove the LEFT crank using the crank extractor.
*ATTENTION: Ensure that the crank extractor is screwed into the crank at a straight angle.
c) 1º Hold the crank with one hand and tighten the extractor with the adjustable spanner.
2º Hold the crank with one hand and tighten the extractor ´s bolt with the adjustable
spanner until the crank has completely loosened from the axle.
2) Loosen the locking nut of the BB spindle
a) Remove the rubber cap.
b) Loosen the M20 x 1.0P locking nut using 30mm deep socket wrench with ratchet head
wrench.

3) Remove the chain guards
a) Remove the inner chain guard and left flywheel hub cover by loosening the 7 M4 x 10 x 0.7P
Allen bolts.
b) Remove the right flywheel hub cover by loosening the 3 M4 x 10 x 0.7P Allen bolts.
c) Loosen the remaining 3 M4 x 10 x 0.7P Allen bolts of the outer chain guard and take the
chain guard off, with the right crank in the position as shown in the picture.

4) Remove the right pedal
a) Loosen the right pedal so the rear pulley is more easily removed later in the process.
5) Remove the flywheel
a) Remove the brake pad.
b) lightly loosen the M8 x 1.25P nut and the Allen bolt on both sides.
c) Loosen the 2 M6 x 25 x 1.0P Allen bolts and remove the bracket on both sides.

d) Loosen the M12 x 1.0P axle nut and washers from both sides.
e) Place your hands firmly as shown in the picture to remove the flywheel and belt.

6) Remove the rear pulley and right crank
a) Loosen the 4 M10 x 20 x 1.5P bolts of the rear pulley and remove it from its axle.
b) Repeat the process explained in step 1 (b, c).
7) Remove the BB spindle and bearings
a) Remove the BB axle using a plastic mallet.
b) Move the center ring to one side using the screwdriver. This facilitates the next step. Rest
the drifts punch on the inside of the bearing and hit it with the hammer until the bearing
comes out of the bottom bracket housing. Repeat this operation on the other side. In total 2
bearings will be removed.
c) Clean the bottom bracket housing using grain water sandpaper before replacing the bearings.
*ATTENTION! LEASE MAKE SURE NOT TO OVERDO THE SANDING TO ENSURE
THE FIT REMAINS THE SAME AS BEFORE.
