GENERAL WARNINGS
• DO NOT use this product without first reading and understanding the instructions contained in
this booklet. If you are unable to understand the Warnings, Cautions or Instructions, contact a
healthcare professional, dealer or technician before use - otherwise serious bodily injury or
product damage may occur.
• Caution should be taken if attaching multiple pumps to the I.V. Stand. Pumps should be hung so
that they counter balance each other.
• DO NOT exceed the maximum weight capacity of 21 lbs attached to the pole and 9 lbs on each
hook. (It is recommended that all added weight be evenly distributed amongst the top hooks to
maintain stability.)
• All wheels must be in contact with the oor at ALL TIMES.
• DO NOT use the I.V. Stand while walking backwards, down gradients, or climbing stairs, curbs or
to go over obstacles. Serious risk of fall or injury may occur.
• DO NOT attach I.V. Stand to other objects.
• DO NOT use in MRI areas.
• DO NOT use the I.V. Stand for support or as a walking aid. Do not attempt to support your weight
or use as a stand assist.
• DO NOT hang or support any other objects that are not inteded to be used with the IV pole.
• Use care when moving the I.V. Stand with a patient. Avoid wet or slick surfaces, wires, cables, or
tubes and any uneven surfaces that may cause the I.V. Stand to tip or fall.
• Only use accessories and spare parts authorized by Medline Industries.
• DO NOT use the pole for anything other than its intended use.
• DO NOT lift the pole by the top half of the pole.
• Extreme caution should be taken when the IV pole is near the bed or any other furniture.
MEDLINE LIMITED WARRANTY
Your Medline Product is warranted to be free of material defects in materials and workmanship.
The column and base are warranted for a period of three (3) years from date of purchase. Casters,
and height mechanism are warranted for a period of one (1) year. This express warranty extends to
the original purchaser only. In the event of a defect or failure covered by this warranty, contact us
at 1-800-MEDLINE. Medline will, at its option, repair or replace your Medline product. This warranty
does not extend to damage or failure occurring as a result of owner misuse or negligence, normal
wear and tear or other causes unrelated to the manufacture and design of the product. This express
warranty is Medline’s sole and exclusive warranty and your sole remedy in the event of default or
failure. Medline is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages or costs arising from
use of the warranted products, or any defect therein or failure thereof. Medline disclaims all other
warranties including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose.
