Medline Rollator

To ensure your safety in using the Medline rollator, the following
safety information and all instructions must be followed.
» DO NOT use this product without first reading and understanding
the instructions contained in this booklet. If you are unable to
understand the warnings, cautions, or instructions, contact a
healthcare professional, dealer, or technical personnel before use-
otherwise serious bodily injury and damage may occur.
» Consult with your doctor, physical, or occupational therapist or other
qualified professional to assure the proper height adjustment.
» Rollators are for individual use only and are NOT to be used as a
wheelchair.
» DO NOT attempt to move the rollator while you or anyone is sitting
on the seat.
» DO NOT self-propel the rollator while seated. Brakes must always be
locked while the seat is in use.
» Serious injury to you and/or damage to the rollator frame or wheels
may result from improper use.
» DO NOT use the seat to transport people or objects. DO NOT use the
seat to carry or move anything.
» DO NOT sit on the rollator while it is being loaded into a vehicle or
while it is being transported in a vehicle.
» DO NOT exceed the maximum weight capacity (including bag
contents). As stated in the assembly guide and on the device itself or
serious injury could result.

Place the rollator on its side.
First: Open the Rollator
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Proceed with caution
when opening the rollator
as there are areas around
the moving parts that
could potentially pinch
fingers.

Remove the rollator components from shipping carton. Then, in
an upright position, unfold the rollator by pushing down on the
folding bracket until the frame is in full extension.

Now: Install the Wheels
Front Wheels
Use the triangular knob to screw the front legs in place.
Repeat steps 1-3 for the other front leg extension without brakes.

Remove the four black
plastic plugs from the
outer tubes and discard.
Attach front legs without
brakes to the front of the
rollator. The front legs are
marked ‘Front Left’ & ‘Front
Right’.

With the rollator still on its side, attach rear wheels with
brakes. Make sure that the rear wheels and brake shoe are on
the outside of the rollator and brake handle (See above). Use
the triangular knobs to thread the rear legs in place.

On the same side insert the brake handle assembly into the
frame and set to desired height. Brake cables should be on the
outside of the handle bars and frame.

Insert the screw into the 6 sided hole in the frame. Make sure
the screw head recesses into the frame.

Slide the curved washer onto the other end of the screw with
the curved side facing the frame.
Turn the rollator onto the other side so that the wheels that
were just installed are now on the floor. Then, repeat steps 1-4.

Screw on the four point knob.

Finally Install Backrestngage both wheel
locks before entering or exiting the transport chair, when leaning
forward, or while in an elevator or wheelchair lift.
Stand the rollator up so all 4 wheels are on the floor.
Insert the backrest so that the curved portion faces the front of
the unit. Make sure that the button snaps firmly into the hole so
the back is secure.

Loop the cloth hooks onto the seat frame and make sure the
bag is centered.

Placez le déambulateur sur son
flanc.
Première étape : Ouverture du
déambulateur à roulettes
REMARQUE IMPORTANTE :
Ouvrez le déambulateur
avec précaution pour éviter
de vous pincer les doigts
près des pièces mobiles.

Retirez les composants du déambulateur du carton d’expédition.
Le déambulateur étant à la verticale, dépliez-le en poussant
sur le mécanisme de pliage jusqu’à ce que le cadre soit
complètement déployé.

Deuxième étape : Installation des
roulettes
Roulettes avant
Fixez les pattes avant en vissant le bouton triangulaire.
Répétez les étapes 1 à 3 pour l’autre patte avant sans freins.

Retirez les quatre embouts
noirs en plastique des
tubes extérieurs et jetez-
les.
Fixez les pattes avant
sans freins à l’avant du
déambulateur. Les pattes
avant sont identifiées par les
termes « Avant gauche » et
« Avant droite ».

Le déambulateur toujours sur le côté, fixez les roulettes arrière
munies de freins. Assurez-vous que les roulettes arrière et les
sabots de freins sont à l’extérieur du déambulateur et du levier
de frein (voir ci-dessus). Fixez les pattes arrière en vissant le
bouton triangulaire.

Du même côté, insérez le levier de frein dans le cadre et réglez-
le à la hauteur désirée. Les câbles du frein doivent être à
l’extérieur des poignées et du cadre.

Insérez la vis dans le trou hexagonal sur le cadre. Assurez-vous
que la tête de vis rentre dans le cadre.

Glissez la rondelle courbée à l’autre extrémité de la vis de façon à
ce que le côté incurvé soit orienté vers le cadre.
Retournez le déambulateur de façon à ce que les roulettes qui
viennent d’être installées reposent sur le sol. Répétez ensuite les
étapes 1 à 4.

Vissez la molette de serrage.

Installez le dossier both wheel
locks before entering or exiting the transport chair, when leaning
forward, or while in an elevator or wheelchair lift.
Placez le déambulateur en position debout sur ses quatre
roulettes.
Insérez le dossier de façon à ce que la partie incurvée soit ori-
entée vers le devant du déambulateur. Vérifiez que le bouton
s’enclenche bien dans le trou de façon à sécuriser le dossier.

Enfilez les attaches en tissu sur le châssis du siège et assurez-vous
que le sac est centré.
